Against the World II: Transgression
Chapter 33: The Fall of the Dwarf, part 5

Khrometh really didn't want to find anything because of Vermyna. Although he was already stronger, he could not imagine himself defeating the beautiful woman. Although Fie can give her protection from the vampire's anger, Vermyna can kill him before Fie realizes it. Khrometh really doesn't want to deal with Vermyna.

However, he had no other choice now; he had to finish off all the vampires before Order 9 was slaughtered. Of course the Agravain Destroyer attack he was preparing would also eliminate the saint's army. But isn't sacrifice necessary in all things?

Thus, once the energy the golem gathered to fire the Agravain Destroyer laser was sufficient, Khrometh directly fired the blue laser mixed with red and black towards the target. Unlike Agravain Apocalypse which has a wide attack range, Agravain Destroyer has a long attack range. The higher the position of the golem, the further the range.

Khrometh is confident in his golem attack. As with the previous successful attack, this time the attack will also be satisfactory. No one will be able to stop the attack of the kebangsa— golem

“—Huh? What happened?”

Khrometh narrowed his eyes to see his super laser halted at a distance of one-fourth of the target.

“Is anyone there?”

Due to the diameter of the laser reaching three meters, Khrometh could not see what caused the Agravain Destroyer laser block. But it was most likely a vampire. The chances of anyone else getting in his way other than vampires were very close to zero. But, who?

“Cih!”

Khrometh decided to increase the energy supply to increase the intensity of the laser crusher. Whoever's in there, it's definitely not Vermyna. If she was Vermyna, surely Khrometh could see the space portal opened to overcome the Agravain Destroyer. So, 100 percent that's not Vermyna. Therefore, Khrometh also strengthened his laser to finish off whoever it was.

However, a dozen seconds later, Khrometh was immediately exasperated. He regretted doing it. Because, the person holding the laser is familiar in Khrometh's eyes. Even the magic used by the vampire to overcome his attacks is not foreign at all.

“Cainabel bastard, damned you!” khrometh shouted full of wrath as the perfectly round mirror that had absorbed his laser was directed towards Dwagnowa.

Khrometh with all his dexterity tried to move the golem to stop what the vampire was trying to do.

However, he was late. It's no faster than a laser of pride. Khrometh could only look at the horror of the Agravain Destroyer that destroyed Dwagnowa.

...* * *...

Hecrust vomits a certain amount of blood from the mouth. A sword of light had stuck in his left lung. The mask is destroyed. His robe was tattered. Scars of incisions filled his body here and there. Hecrust had even lost his spear.

He has become the samsak of the light manifestation of the saint. The man had already turned every cubic millimeter of his body into a hot holy light. The eyes of the adamantite spear he broke with a sword of light, the spear shaft then he cut into pieces like a fish before a sharp blade.

Hecrust pulled out the sword of light that stuck in his lungs, slowly standing up. He took off and threw off his cloak at first. The eyes looked intensely at the form of light Saint Petra was silently looking at her with two light swords in both hands. The area of land around the saint looked as if it was burning.

Two wind spears covered in lightning were created in both Hecrust's hands (like his body which had been clad in lightning and wind armor), and at that time the saint again attacked.

Hecrust was at its highest speed. He could not go any faster; he could not be any stronger. However, he was unable to keep up with Saint Petra. His regenerated body received a wound. Hecrust to the point of exerting his blood magic to erode the opponent's form of light, but instead his blood that he made burned.

If not for Lucard appearing to suddenly kick Saint Petra's head, that sword of light would have already slashed Hecrust's neck.

“He may be as strong as Valeria, or may be stronger.” Lucard said as he landed to the right of Hecrust. Lucard rarely put on a serious face, but now he was very serious. “However, there are side effects that his body receives. This is just my estimation, but its power seems to hurt his own body. She will probably die after her magic effect disappears.”

Hecrust who had regenerated again nodded in understanding. “You imply we should buy time and let it die from its own strength?” tanyanya.

“If he will die without the need for us to finish, why do we bother to finish him?” Lucard didn't wait for an answer to his question—who didn't need an answer. “Let's make him trouble by further slaughtering his troops.”

Saint Petra shot back at them as Lucard finished his sentence. However, Lucard had already darted towards the soldiers. Hecrust spontaneously did the same. Saint Petra instantly caught up with them quickly.

It's very unfair the strategy that Lucard used to finish off Saint Petra. But they are in a war. Justice cannot be found in it. Self-esteem, morals, justice, honesty, compassion, empathy; such things never exist in war. War requires the sacrifice of life. Nothing is more important than victory.

...* * *...

Total annihilation. That's what happened after the Agravain Destroyer laser hit Dwagnowa. The magnificent capital of Dwagnowa has now become a vast crater filled with building debris. Khrometh could not imagine how many lives were lost. However, he could guess how many survived. And it made his teeth crack great with both hands clenched tightly.

“How dare you…. How dare you make my Agravain Destroyer destroy my own people! GODDAMN YOU, CAINABELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!”

However, before the energy balls hit the target and exploded, Cainabel's figure vanished. Khrometh spontaneously stopped the pace of his golem. He looked back and forth, looking for the location of the goddamn vampire that had made him ride the apoplexy. However, for a dozen seconds, he did not find the existence of the vampire. The energy balls to the point of decaying themselves due to the absence of a target.

“That bastard! Don't tell me he's run away! You cowardly bastard, you bastard!”

“Askout?”

“…!”

“Who escaped? I'm here, Khrometh the traitor Deus Guardian. You're the lowest of the lowest. Miss Vermyna should have eliminated you since that suspicion existed.”

Khrometh's mind did not digest the humiliation that was spewing out of Cainabel's mouth. His mind was shocked to see the vampire sitting on his left shoulder inside the golem. The size of a vampire is no bigger than a bird.

“I'd love to kill you now, but dying in Minner's hands is more suitable for you.”

It was only after hearing that sentence that the shock of Khrometh vanished. Anger has mastered it. With great force he moved his right hand to hit his left shoulder, hoping to kill the vampire as the mosquito he was treating.

However, Cainabel had first vanished from there. The vampire has appeared above the golem controller.

“But then,” continued Cainabel, “not that I will not insult you. Hernandez the Blacksmith is way above a useless amateur like you. As proof, look how I made this golem a grain of sand.”

Khrometh snorted and hit the golem controller strongly, but once again Cainabel had dodged first.

“Shut up and die, shithead!” khrometh Umpat. “Making my master a grain of sand? In a dream though it won't be able to you sell—”

Khrometh's speech was held. Surprise and disbelief filled his face. His eyes widened perfectly looking at the sand surrounding him. His golem had completely become sand.

And before his shock disappeared, Khrometh fell from a height.

The collection of sand was unable to support his weight. And the sand itself is also unable to maintain its shape and position in the air.

Chromet with a deep pocket of pebbled soil. However, the shock of seeing his creation and Stakhnet vanishing in an instant into a grain of sand left the dwarf unresponsive. The pain certainly bit his body, but mentally Khrometh felt a greater pain than that.

A pair of footsteps could be heard approaching him, but Khrometh was still silent in his shock.

“I'll wait until your shock subsides,” said Minner who just arrived next to the dwarf.
