Chaptre 85. Too Heavy, Too Hard

After persuading her parents, Lian is finally allowed to go to Amira's seven-monthly event. Lian went by taxi online.

Upon arrival at Benjamin's house, Lian was greeted directly by the host who was none other than Ben.

"Miss Lian? Thank you for being ready to come. Amira must be very happy to meet Miss," said Ben.

"Yes, Ben. You welcome. I haven't seen Amira in a long time either."

"Did Miss come alone?"

"Who am I going to come with?" joking Lian while laughing.

Lian walked in and circulated a glance.

"Many people came too. Where is Roy?" Lian spread her gaze.

Shortly after Lian arrived, the core event began. Lian participated in watching the event called 'Mitoni.

Lian smiled considering that she did not perform this ritual when she was pregnant.

"Am I supposed to do something like this when I was pregnant? Although impressed only tradition and there are myths behind it. But asking God and the universe is important." Inner Lian.

"Yes God! Why does it feel so heavy? We have been through this five years. But why does it feel so heavy now?" Lian blinked her eyes so as not to cry.

On the other hand, Roy gripped tightly at the steering wheel. His heart ached to hurt the woman he loved.

Roy pulled the car over.

"Sorry, Esther. I forgot I still have business. I can't take you home."

"Eh?" Esther was surprised but she couldn't resist. He got out of Roy's car.

Roy gets off and calls Esther a taxi.

"I'm sorry again once again."

"Yes, it's okay." Esther still showed her smile even though she was very angry.

With a heavy heart, Esther got into the taxi.

"I'm sure Roy would want to see that woman!" Esther clenched her hand.

"Is there really no love for me anymore, Roy? Have we not been together since childhood? Why did you forget me so easily?"

Clear circles are now wetting Esther's pretty face.

"Even you're not interested in this pretty face at all. Then why am I doing all this?"

The taxi driver who saw Esther crying became confused.

"Sorry, Miss. Where are we going?"

"Apartment Royale." Esther replied briefly.

The taxi driver nodded and looked back at the street in front of him.

Roy turns the wheel around and returns to Benjamin's house. But Roy has just arrived, Lian has just entered the online taxi he booked.

"Mas Roy? Why follow me?" Lian looked at Roy full of question marks.

Without answering Roy immediately carried Lian in his arms.

"I'm sorry... I'm sorry." Roy said repeatedly.

Lian's cries began to break in Roy's arms. Lian further dipped her face on the chest of Roy's field. The tightness in his heart he could no longer bear.

Esther returns to the apartment with shaky steps. He did not greet Noel or respond to him.

"You're home yet? How's show?" ask Noel.

Esther walked past Noel and towards his room.

"What's wrong with her?" Noel frowned.

Esther put her body on the bed and cried. Noel who heard the sound of sobs immediately approached Esther.

Noel saw Esther's body tremble with her cries. He sat on the edge of the bed and rubbed Esther's back. He stroked Esther's hair gently.

Noel knew Esther must be disappointed. Esther's determination to win Roy back was difficult. Roy's heart is already anchored to one name.

Noel continued to accompany Esther until her crying subsided. He just kept quiet and said nothing.

"You still here?" ask Esther with her eyes.

"Am I not your sister?" It sounded slurred as Noel said it.

"You're not my brother!" Esther.

"But your face is my sister's face."

"Julian knows everything. It's just a matter of time until everyone finds out." Esther said flatly.

Noel scrunched his forehead.

"What do you mean?"

Esther looked at Noel. "Julian already knows that I'm not the real Esther."

"What's? How could? When did he find out?" Noel started to panic.

"You yourself know what Julian is in charge of right now. He can do anything he doesn't want."

"Is he threatening you?"

"No!"

Noel breathed a sigh of relief. He was still anxiously facing Julian the next morning.

"What's all this for?" Esther Mumbled.

"Eh?"

"Why would I do everything if I could still get Roy's heart!"

Noel knew that Esther's grief must have come from Roy. Unbearable for Esther's sadness, Noel grabbed Esther's body and hugged her.

"You can lean on me, Zara. Didn't I tell you, I'll always be there for you."

"Help me, Noel..."

"What can I do for you?"

"I want to get back to Roy's love. He was my first love, my friend, my best friend. He is everything to me. Help me, Noel..."

Noel closed his eyes. "Alright, Zara. Do what you want to do. I ... will support you."
