Chapter 7. Antonio

In a house that was not too big but also not too small, a grandmother was sitting on her rocking chair.

A gentle breeze made the grandmother's eyes closed with a rocking chair that swayed slowly to fall asleep.

Antonio approached his grandmother who appeared to be asleep in his rocking chair. She covered her grandmother's body with a blanket she brought from her grandmother's room.

Antonio loved his grandmother. From five-year-old Antonio, he's been living with his grandmother.

My grandmother was old and it was hard to walk. Every day there are sisters who come to take care of Grandma Salma.

The sister was hired by her grandmother Salma, in addition to caring for the grandmother as well as to accompany the grandmother every day. The sister will come at eight in the morning and come home at eight in the evening, the rest will be Antonio's duty to accompany the grandmother.

And on Sundays the hired sisters keep coming, from eight in the morning to five in the afternoon. The rest is Antonio who handles everything.

This Sunday Antonio is not going anywhere, he is at home accompanying his grandmother.

"Did grandma eat a lot this afternoon, Sister Lia? "ask Antonio on the nurse who looks after his grandmother.

" Many, den! The fruit is also eaten by Grandma! " sir sister Lia answered.

"Good dong! Then grandma still has a taste for food! " said Antonio again while staring at the grandmother who was asleep in her recliner.

"Yes, den! " sister Lia nodded her head in agreement with Antonio's words.

Antonio was very attentive to his grandmother, especially the grandmother's food. To keep her grandmother's body healthy.

Antonio sat not so far from the rocking chair his grandmother occupied. He looked at the sleeping grandmother, when it was late afternoon.

After finishing the cleaning, Sister Lia appeared to approach Grandma Salma with the intention to move the grandmother to her room before she returned home.

"Suster Lia, just let grandma be there! Don't move! I will move out! If the sister wants to go home, please! " the words of Antonio that stopped Sister Lia's movement.

"Good, den! Then I want to go home first! " said Sister Lia who then said goodbye to Antonio to go home. Antonio nodded his head.

Antonio's back fixing his grandmother's blanket. And sat back on the bench not far from his grandmother.

This house was empty and no one occupied it. Only filled if his grandmother is in Indonesia. My grandparents used to live in the Netherlands.

But after her grandfather died, grandmother settled in Indonesia and now lives in this house. The house that Grandpa bought for Grandma.

Little Antonio is often sickly and because Antonio is the grandmother's favorite grandson and close to the grandmother, the grandmother asked that Antonio stay with her. From the age of five, Antonio lived with his grandmother.

Apparently grandma really raised Antonio well. Antonio who had now grown into a handsome and dashing man. It's just the appearance of Antonio who impressed geeky, with a hairline that was split to the side. If only Antonio's hair was changed, surely the good looks of an Antonio would stick out.

Antonio also grew up to be a smart and responsible man. He finished his studies quickly before his time.

Actually he's been asked by his Papa to continue his efforts. Antonio is not interested. But he'll rethink his Papa's offer. At least Antonio had to learn first and jump directly to learn to manage his Papa company.

And to fill the gap, Antonio applied as a gardener in the Osmond family, which happened to be when Antonio passed the family mansion there was a vacancy on his high fence.

Antonio often passed the Osmond family mansion because his grandmother's house was not too far from the mansion.

Antonio likes gardening. The gardens at her grandmother's house were all taken care of by Antonio. So as soon as he read the vacancy, Antonio deliberately proposed to him.

The garden in the Osmond family residence there are two parts, the first is located next to the house which is Bella's favorite rose garden and the back garden of the house that contains mixed, there are flowers and fruit plants.

Antonio accepts the job because it doesn't bother him in terms of keeping his grandmother and also to fill the void before he decides later to study in his Papa's office.

"Grandmother is awake? " tina said as she walked closer to her grandmother. Grandma smiled and nodded her head. At the age of no longer young grandmother Salma still looks beautiful. The remnants of her beauty at a young age are still clearly visible even though it is now covered with many wrinkles aka wrinkles.

Antonio massaged his grandmother's shoulder slowly, who was still sitting in the rocking chair.

"Grandma slept well!" antonio's voice was soft because he saw the grandmother still closed her eyes.

"Lia's home, huh? " ask grandma with her eyes closed.

"Already, Grandma! Do you want to move to your room or eat fruit first? " tanya Antonio still massages his grandmother's shoulder slowly.

"Eat the fruit first, cu. enter the room later." said the grandmother again.

Antonio swiftly picked up the fruit that Sister Lia had prepared from the dining table.

With great pain Antonio fed his grandmother. Grandma looked at her favorite granddaughter.

"Cu....... Do you have a boyfriend? " ask grandma suddenly. Antonio felt strange about his grandmother's question.

"Why, Grandma? " ask Antonio, who instead of answering, asks back.

"Grandma's heard your mom wants to match you cu! " said the grandmother as she chewed the fruit in her mouth.

Antonio just kept quiet, didn't answer. He put the fruit back in his grandmother's mouth.

"If you have a boyfriend, you know your grandmother! " many grandmother again.

"I don't have a boyfriend yet, Grandma! Some rich mama no work, matchmaking all! " sad Antonio.

"Don't be picky, cu! " grandmother's advice followed by her laughter.

"Yes, you must be chosen! Maen comot time, cake! " timpal Antonio with a laugh.

This is how Antonio is close to his grandmother.

"I can find it myself, Grandma! No need to be put in everything!" antonio's assertion about matchmaking.

"Yes, Cu! You are still young! Grandma's grandchild no one wants, right?! " grandmother Salma's teasing smile at Antonio made Antonio chuckle.

"Quiet, grandma! I will look for a beautiful one and most importantly she loves grandma too! " sahut Antonio winked at his grandmother. They both laughed together.

After the grandmother finished eating the fruit, Antonio took her grandmother to his room to rest.
