21. Cold Mode

Ethan was tidy early in the morning, he left before work began. Even faster, madam Hana was astonished by her son who was that early departing even faster.

"You're neat, baby? It's only six o'clock" said Madame Hana.

"Yes ma, want to do something." replied Ethan sipped his warm milk.

He asked to make warm milk this morning to his housemaid. Then he immediately went and boarded his car which had been panned by the security guard. Today was a new day for him, forgetting his heartache due to Jhonson and Daby.

She will knit her life back together, just like Riana said. Indeed, having a boyfriend makes it complicated, the more thought will be more painful if you are separated. What else is that his farewell is not wearing a heart.

"What's the matter Ethan here in the morning?" riana asked politely.

"Let's go together. I'll pick you up." said Ethan.

"I can go alone. Don't you want to work with me anymore?" ask Riana.

"Who said?"

"Yesterday, tell me not to remind you about work. Is that the name of not working with me? Then why come here early in the morning" said Riana again.

Ethan was silent, he lowered his head then let out a long sigh. She coldly styled Riana, turning into a fierce boss.

"Are you not polite to the boss? Getting picked up even angry like this. Hurry up! Don't argue!" ethan says.

Riana was silent, she was surprised. Why is Ethan so bad. Ethan stares flatly at Riana, then pulls Riana's hand and takes her to her car. Riana was confused by Ethan's attitude, why was she the one who got angry?

Riana stared strangely at Ethan, while Ethan was still cold. She got into her car, Riana was the same. He still feels weird about Ethan.

"Sir Ethan why?" riana asked suddenly her sense of regret disappeared.

"Don't ask! Just shut up." said Ethan.

He also runs his car, driving at a speed that is splitting the streets that began to be crowded by the same vehicle to run work activities.

Arriving at the office, Ethan's cold mode is still on. Riana did not dare to ask or talk much. He himself felt strange, Ethan who just came and entered work again was actually cold to him.

Is it because of her boyfriend's problems?

"This is the file that needs to be signed. Check it before signing it, because there are some that must be checked first" Riana said.

"Yes, I know." said Ethan without looking at Riana.

Riana was silent, she still saw the file that her boss had not touched. Ethan glanced at Riana.

"What's wrong?" ask Ethan.

"Yes, I'll sign it. Do you want to wait?" ask Ethan.

"No sir" said Riana.

He turned and walked away from his boss. But then he's summoned again by Ethan.

"Riana!" call Ethan.

"Yes sir?" riana turned around and stopped.

"Not so, later." said Ethan.

Riana snorted softly, staring at the strange Ethan this morning. Just entering the office her attitude was different, making Riana since from leaving so confused. He smiled faintly, better like this than to be worked on. Thought Riana.

He stepped out, closed the door slowly. Ethan looks at the door after Riana leaves the room. Breathe in rough breaths and then bow.

"How do you apologize to Riana?" ethan says.

It is better to be cold to Riana, than to be angry and always insinuating. Right now he did not want to argue with Riana.

"Well, it's better this way first. It feels good to make Riana confused. Huhah!" ethan said with a happy laugh.

He resumed his work, looking at the file that Riana had brought. Check the file and read it carefully. One by one they are finished reading and checking. There's still one file he hasn't checked.

Signatures also slide on several sheets of files because everything is in order, according to him, nothing is lacking. And there was another one he opened, he read it and there was a slight discrepancy in the file.

Ethan presses a button to call Riana into the room.

"Riana, comein!" ethan says.

Before long Riana entered, she stepped closer to Ethan who was still looking through the sheets.

"What's up, sir?" ask Riana.

"Why is this wrong? Why don't you check it out before you leave it to me?" ask Ethan.

Riana looked at the file in Ethan's hand. He frowned, as he remembered that file he didn't bring in. But why is it in Ethan's hands?

"That's an old file sir, and a new one was sent yesterday to Mr. Wijaya" said Riana.

"But why is it here? It should be thrown away as trash." said Ethan in a high tone.

"Sorry sir, I didn't bring the file" Riana said.

"The evidence is on my desk, why avoid it's not you who brought it. It's under the files I signed" Ethan said.

Riana kept quiet, she said, "Sorry sir, maybe I took it wrong."

"Other times should be thorough. Don't bring old files on my desk" Ethan said.

Riana takes the file in Ethan's hand, and then she takes it out. Condemn why the old file was laughing earlier with other files.

"Aren't I focused on thinking about Ethan's weirdness this morning?"
