56. Daby's Problem

Jhonson is still silent, confused as to what to say to Ethan. Because his best friend, not his former best friend, is more precisely apathetic to him. His attitude and manner of speaking are different when talking to him.

"Ethan, me and Daby are now living together. We decided to stay together, and we don't know when we're getting married" Jhonson said.

"Then should I congratulate you?" ask Ethan.

"Daby is pregnant with my son and we feel .." said Jhonson.

"Then? I'm not the doctor who has to help both of them, am I Jhonson? You came wrong to me. Come to the doctor or go to a place of worship, maybe God will forgive you and also give a way out for you" said Ethan again.

"Your solution is right, but the problem is that I have a solution coming to you asking for your help" Jhonson said.

"Do you need money?" ask Ethan.

"How much do you need?" ask Ethan again.

Again Jhonson looked up, looking at Ethan in disbelief. Would her best friend help her? Or does he have other intentions?

"You're too quick to give Ethan a decision. Is your help gonna ask me something?" jhonson asked doubtfully.

"Huhah! That's your petty Jhonson. I offered to help because you asked for it, then you suspect I had something to do with my offer? Heh! Funny, do you think I'm gonna take your girlfriend?" ethan asked with a snide laugh.

Jhonson smiled faintly, he did think that way. But then she was relieved that it seemed like Ethan wasn't asking Daby to come back to her.

"My wife is even prettier and sweeter than your boyfriend" Ethan said.

Of course Jhonson was shocked by Ethan's statement. Is he that easy to forget about Daby?

Yes, almost a year ago that happened. Of course Ethan forgets everything, and he seems to be happy.

"You happy Ethan?" ask Jhonson.

"Yes, happier than you used to be with Daby" replied Ethan.

"Of course, you should be happy. And your wife is what makes you happy, right?" ask Jhonson.

"Of course, if not my happy wife. Nothing could make me happy but my wife" Ethan said.

"Yes, I'm glad you're happy with your life now" Jhonson said.

Their conversation continued, until it was time for a meeting with the client. Ethan insists on Jhonson.

"Yes." answered Jhonson briefly.

"How much do you need?"

"Whatever you give it, but I need it for Daby and the baby" Jhonson said.

Ethan shut up, he took his cell phone. Ask Jhonson account number. He wants to help it not because his ex-girlfriend is in trouble, but just a friend who is airy and Jhonson by stripping off his pride asking for help, of course Ethan knows that.

He knew what Jhonson was like, just because love made him.

"I sent it to your account with dollars. You can check for yourself. And again, this I do is just a friend. If you have more money, please give it back. I'm not lending you away for free" Ethan said.

"Yes, I know. I'll remember this, I owe my best friend a debt. I promise I'll give it back if I have a lot of money" Jhonson said happily.

Ethan smiled, now Jhonson was ready to return again tonight to England. Actually, he could've called Ethan over the phone. But to tell him about Daby's own circumstances he has to meet Ethan.

Ethan is sitting quietly in his chair. Thinking about what Jhonson said, pity. That's what Ethan thinks of Daby.

"What are you thinking about?" riana suddenly asked in front of him.

"Eh, baby. You're making me surprised anyway?" ask Ethan.

"Who is he?" ask Riana.

"What was that?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"My best friend who had an affair with my boyfriend." replied Ethan.

He got up from his seat and stepped closer to Riana. Pull up his waist and sit on the sofa.

"Would he come here?" ask Riana curiously.

"She asked for my help, her boyfriend was about to give birth and there was a problem with her. He didn't have much money, his cafe went bankrupt. So he chose to borrow money from me" said Ethan.

Her hands tidied up Riana's pony hair and kissed her lips. Smiling at his wife who was still silent, silent because of curiosity why her husband wanted to help people who had betrayed him.

"You're wondering why I want to help her?" ask Ethan.

"Yes, I think you want to help your best friend because you still care and still have a heart for your ex" Riana said tightly.

"Huhah! You jealous?"

"Of course."

"Well, I'm glad my wife's jealous. Cup. Look yeah, I don't have a heart anymore or anything. I'm happy right now with you, I'm helping him because I know Jhonson's life wasn't okay just yet. Just because of a moment's temptation, he was like that. I help my best friend, open my ex-boyfriend. Youunderstand?" ethan asked with a smile on his lips.

"Rarely that?" ask Riana to make sure.

"Yes, I'm sure. And I haven't tasted anything since he betrayed me, so don't be jealous of me anymore. Okay sweetheart?" ethan says.

She again kissed Riana full of love and tenderness. In her heart she convinced herself that Riana was her happiness now and forever.
