Three days passed after Maura's departure to the Maldives with her biological mother's family. And during that time, Alika did not get any news about Maura. Although Nayla always exchanged messages with Bilmar to inform Maura's condition while there.
Alika just kept quiet and tight-lipped. The pregnant woman was still angry with her husband. Alika continued to silence Bilmar, away from and limit all their movements. Alika has chosen to sleep with Ammar and Girl for three nights, leaving Bilmar alone in the room.
Sometimes he told Binar to ask Bilmar about Maura. Bilmar knew about it, but he just kept quiet and followed Alika's will. He knew his wife was pregnant, he did not want to worsen Alika's mood.
Starting tonight, the girl has been brought to stay at Papa Luky's house, although only temporarily because Rendy has to go out of town. The girl was getting closer to Binar, the boy began to accept the figure of Binar even though he could not say Mama said to him.
Trangs.
There was only the sound of spoons and forks constantly clashing on Bilmar and Alika's plates. They both looked silent and no one started a sound during dinner this time.
Sometimes Bilmar raised his face to look at his wife who was still down.
He always invited Alika to talk, but the woman only answered as necessary. Sometimes Bilmar always peeked into the room and found Alika was crying when she was alone with Ammar. Alika miss Maura.
"How's Ammar today? Said Bik Minah, she fussed all day?" Bilmar broke the silence, hoping that Alika would respond to his question.
"Yes." Yeah." Alika answered briefly and densely. Bilmar remained unbroken, he continued to invite Alika to speak. He could not endure three days without a touch from his wife.
"Are you tired, baby?" Bilmar asked and stretched out his hand to touch his wife. Alika released him immediately.
"No!" He answered, but he refused to look at Bilmar.
The man's heart felt like it was being deliberately broken. He is sad because Alika has not been able to forgive and receive various explanations from her.
"Yes, tomorrow I do not go to work first, I want to take care of Ammar, so you can rest.."
"No need! I'm staying at Papa's house tomorrow. I miss the girl."
Suddenly, Bilmar's face was shocked by Alika's decision, which was sudden and without asking her permission.
"Why stay? The girl was brought here..." Bilmar said, he again wanted to hold his wife's hand. Alika still wouldn't allow it.
With all his compulsion, he finally raised his face to look at Bilmar who was still staring at him with a pushy face.
"The girl has a mother. I'm just a Aunt, besides I don't have the right to force her to stay here, and Diego has allowed Girls with Binar." Alika turned her gaze back into the dish, she pedaled another spoonful of rice into her mouth.
"I won't let you stay!" Bilmar said straightforwardly.
Alika remained unconcerned about her husband's ban. He did not answer, instead he continued to devour his dinner. Alika's attitude makes Bilmar look furious and feel unappreciated.
Then
Drrt drrt drrt
Bilmar's phone vibrated and his screen was mistaken. He quickly grabbed the phone which was not far from his plate.
He read the incoming message from Nayla. Sending a picture of Maura laughing while drinking ice cream.
"Maura was so happy that she was drinking ice cream again.." Bilmar.
He spoke to himself while typing to reply to the message. Alika who heard straight raised her face. He looked at Bilmar who was cool himself with his cellphone screen.
Bilmar deliberately, he continued to heat up his wife's heart. He wanted to hear that Alika asked Maura's news to him directly.
"Maura, Mama miss you, son..." Alika in her heart. Both of his eyes looked teary. She stared at her husband who was still happy.
"Hmmm..." She wanted to make a voice to ask about Maura's situation to Bilmar, but her resentment towards her husband still appeared and had not disappeared.
Yesterday's problems really hurt him. Somehow when he saw Nayla taking Maura, he felt he was no longer the only one who could have Maura besides Bilmar. She must accept that she is only a mother-to-be, not a mother who has full rights for Maura.
He would rather get up and leave Bilmar at the dinner table.
"Al?" Call Bilmar.
His footsteps stopped, but Alika did not answer and did not obey. He returned his feet.
"Alika!" Bilmar then got up to stand up. He stomped the table with his palm.
"You heard me, right?" Bilmar said it was getting louder. Alika went back to silence and pegged in her position. She refused to look back, let alone sit face to face with her husband at the dinner table.
"I count to three! If you don't sit back, I'll drag you!" Bilmar's orders. Alika grimaced and bit her lower lip, honestly she was afraid that Bilmar was already like this.
"Sa-tu...Duu-a...Ti--" Bilmar keeps counting.
Alika quickly turned her body to step towards the dining table and sat there. Alika resumed her dinner. He still did not want to sound or look at Bilmar.
"When are you like this? You still blame me!"
Alika remained unanswered she continued to accelerate her chewing. He wanted to leave Bilmar immediately, he did not want to make a fuss with the man.
"You deaf, Al?" Bilmar asked again.
Alika remained silent. Seeing his wife still stubborn, Bilmar became emotional.
"I've been talking to you since, why isn't there anyone you've answered??" Ask Bilmar in a high tone.
"My patience seems to mean nothing to you! You're getting bigger heads, bigger egos!"
Hearing that remark made Alika annoyed and groaned. He threw a spoon and fork at his plate with intense pressure and made a loud noise. Alika got up and stood up, and they came back.
"I'm big ego you say? You should have missed it, Bil!" Alika matched Bilmar's rough and loud voice. He stared intently into the dark cornea of the husband's possession.
"Me?" Bilmar laughs. "Obviously you're selfish! Since you were upset with me, you were proud to ask how Maura was there, for three days, I never heard you ask about my son! What kind of mother are you!" Bilmar is getting emotional.
Alika's ears were getting hotter and her heart was like being squeezed. He felt pain to the heart.
"I'm not her mother! I should be able to limit my heart to him! I shouldn't have given all of my affection to Maura!"
"But in the end I still wasn't considered! My voice is not necessary for Maura's life!"
"Only you and your family have an important role for Maura. I'm just a replacement role! Just a maid--"
Alika stared fiercely. He continued to issue his uncles who were still enthroned. He could not shake the disappointment in his heart.
"You talk like that, Al!" Both of Bilmar's eyes looked teary. And so did Alika, her tears just dripped. His chest tightened when he had already managed to utter such words to hurt Bilmar.
Suddenly the nausea again hit his body. He passed by while covering his mouth so that the vomit liquid did not spill.
Howe Howe Howe
Alika vomited all the food contents into the sink. Without feeling there is a hand that continues to massage his nape to help himself remove the contents of vomit from his stomach.
"Come, Al. Take it out, until you're relieved." Soft Bilmar. The man forgot the pain in his heart. He knew this woman was pregnant, her emotions and mood were uncertain.
"Pull your breath, let's take it out, let's pull it again..." Bilmar continues to guide Alika who is still trying to regulate her breathing rhythm for the better.
Bilmar cupped a water in his palm to wash the face of his wife who was still lowered into the sink niche. Alika kept holding her stomach. He kept trying to bring back the food he had just swallowed.
"Hhh..." Alika's breath felt so thick. He took Bilmar's hand off. Turning his body to step back towards Maura's room.
"Darling, sleep with me. What if you throw up again at night?" Bilmar continued to speak while following the steps of his wife.
"I can do it myself, without your help. In fact three nights ago, I could do it, right??"
Bilmar held Alika's hand to stop the steps of his wife who would soon reach the doorstep of Maura's room.
"Detach, Bill. I'm going to sleep!"
"But his sleep in our room, yes, I'm worried about you..." Bilmar kept pleading.
"I don't want to! I'm going to sleep here!" Alika remained in her stance.
"Well, I slept here too. Let's go inside!" Bilmar embraces his wife's body.
"No Bill! I don't want to sleep with you!" Alika took Bilmar's hand off his shoulder.
He inched quickly inside and locked the door of Maura's room.
"Open baby! I'm going in. I miss you, Al!" Bilmar kept knocking on the door. He kept asking for Alika's kindness to forgive him.
Shortly afterwards, Alika's voice returned nausea and vomiting. And the voice sounded louder and longer.
"Dear open the door!" Bilmar is getting anxious. He was afraid that Alika would faint like a few days ago.
"Al, let's open! If you don't open it, I'll break down this door!"

We're better off, Al
