“Hei, Lan. I belom done talking,” said Arul calling Azlan who sauntered.
Azlan continued walking regardless of Arul's cry calling out his name. He headed to the lbi and sat in one of the chairs. As usual, he wanted to ask the news of his mother. Because it was fitting in he was still at home and would leave for the office, his mother asked to be notified if Azlan had arrived.
Azlan touched the pocket of the front pants, the pocket of the back pants up to the shirt pocket, looking for a cell phone. But didn't find that thing. He remembers leaving his phone in the car. Soon he stood up to pick up his cell phone. He exited the room, traced the corridor, then entered the elevator.
Someone came in when the elevator door was almost closed. Azlan felt the scent of perfume burst into a patch of elevator room.
The elevator starts to move down when the door is closed.
Number by number passed.
Suddenly... Grasses.... Flashing lights. Then the elevator stopped.
The elevator lights turn off and change with emergency lights on the elevator cage that automatically turns on. All the tools related to the backup battery work automatically. The wind fan on the ceiling moves. But minutes later everything died suddenly. Both the daurat lamp, the fan and even all the buttons were off.
Darkened.
“This why? Why did the elevator stop? What's the matter?” the girl beside Azlan was hysterical. He moved forward while fumbling against the wall, then his hand flailing the elevator door, he also stomped on a button that was completely dead. Azlan seemed to know that voice.
“Aaaa...”.
The girl's shout made Azlan surprised and turned to the source of the voice. But he could not see clearly due to his limited view. Women are good at screaming. Always a little screaming.
Suddenly Azlan felt a pair of coiled hands around his neck and now hugged him tightly.
“Pliiis-be... Don't do this. Miss, please freelin!” Azlan tried to release the arm that hung around his neck. But the girl's grip was so strong that Azlan had trouble letting go.
Suddenly the girl cried in fear.
Oh my God, it's just dark that girl's acting so hysterical? is it possible that girl is a dark phobia? Azlan's confused.
“Nona, release!” azlan shouted in a repressive tone until the girl immediately let go of her embrace and away, her back slammed into the elevator wall.
“M... Excuse me... Not that I meant yanking you. We're not gonna do anything. It's just dark doang.” Azlan tried to calm down.
The girl pulled out her cell phone from her bag. Then turn on the flashlight with a trembling motion and re-insert the phone into a bag whose zipper is not closed until the lamp is able to give a little lighting even if only dimly.
Alexa? It turns out that his guess is true.
“We will die. We will die of suffocation here. How is it, dong?” The girl is getting worried. Then he kicked the elevator door while nagging.
Azlan shook his head at Alexa's chatter.
“Nona will only waste energy by doing such an action,” Azlan said.
“Shut up! You do not know what horror will happen if the lights are not on also.”
“But the actions of the miss will not pay off.”
Alexa does not comment. He continued to curse without heeding Azlan's words. He also cursed PLN who died suddenly without cue to make him feel scared like he was on the verge of death.
