Chapter 10: On the Roof

Night in the room...

"It's so much fun today. If Akira can split, Akira wants to get into all the clubs in school" Akira smiled as he laid himself in bed.

"About, Big Brother went in" said Shinji slightly shouting from outside the room that blew Akira's mind.

Shinji smiles. "So don't make fun of you, but if he really becomes Akira's girlfriend later, you've agreed a little to see his attitude" Shinji smiled at Akira.

Akira then lowered his head. He smiled faintly at Shinji's words despite not knowing what the future would hold. Shinji then ruffled Akira's hair in a fit of anxiety.

"Other times bring Sou home huh, Big Brother wants to meet him" Shinji smiled. He then completely closed the door of Akira's room.

"Ah right, only Brother Shin has yet to meet Sou. Big brother would definitely be angry if he knew that only he had not met Sou. Better not to say it?"

A few days later...

"As usual, please bring these files to the teacher's room. I can't ask for help from others because you're the only one still in class" said Teacher.

"It's okay Mom, Akira can also take her" Akira smiled.

"Thank you, Mother first" said the Teacher again.

After Madam Master left the classroom, Akira then followed with a stack of files in her hands. He got out of the classroom and walked cautiously in fear of him tripping or bumping into others and making trouble later.

"Here I help" said Sou who had come from nowhere. He immediately took some of his files from Akira.

"Oh? You surprised me Sou, thank you" Akira smiled.

"Master should have asked the boys to bring all these files" Sou said staring straight ahead.

"How else, it was only me in class" explained Akira.

"The next time you have to come with me, so you don't have to bring all these files anymore" Sou said.

Akira looked at Sou. "I don't care, I'm happy to be able to help others - Akira smiled - Why, where would we go if I went with Sou?" Ask Akira.

"Somehow, we'll think about it later" Sou said smilingly looking at Akira. "It feels like we've done this before, is this deja vu?" Confused speech.

"We did deliver the file together like this during the first days of school" Akira smiled.

Sou thought for a moment. "Ah right. It was a mess that day" Sou smiled.

"Right, very messed up. I hope we don't run like that."

"You're right."

After delivering the files to the teacher's room, Sou then invites Akira to spend the remaining free time on the roof.

"There's still time for the break bell, want to go to the roof with me?" Take Sou.

"What's up to the roof?" Ask Akira.

"Let's see the view from the roof, we can also have lunch there" said Sou spirit.

"No, believe me" Sou said confidently. "Now we go back to class to pick up supplies and we will have lunch on the roof" he said with a smile.

"Alright, Ayano is also with her friend, she can't possibly look for me" Akira smiled.

The two of them then returned to class to pick up each other's supplies. 

"Sou, you're sure we won't be scolded right? I don't want to get into trouble with Master" Akira said hesitantly.

"You can hold my word Akira. If we get scolded later, I'll take responsibility. Everything's gonna be okay, trust me?" Sou reassured Akira.

"Alright if Sou says that" Akira smiled.

"Come" take Sou.

On roof...

"The air is very fresh, like on the mountain" said Akira enjoying the fresh breeze.

"justified? Let's sit on the bench there so as not to be too visible if there is a Teacher coming" Sou asked.

Akira nodded in understanding. "All right, come on."

"Is Sou always here at rest?" Akira asked after sitting on the bench.

"Let's see what you're making" Sou said excitedly. He then opened his lunch box.

"Ckk, Chicken and vegetables again" Sou clucked.

"Did Sou not like it?" Akira asked when he saw Sou's disappointed expression.

"My mom always makes the same stuff every day, but I'm tired of this menu every day" Sou explained.

"Why don't you just tell me that Sou doesn't like it?" Ask Akira again.

"My mom is a stubborn person, if she says A then it has to be A. I can't resist, sometimes I'm upset with Mom's attitude" Sou said.

"Don't be like that Sou. After all it is Ms. Sou, don't be an ungodly child" Akira smiled.

"You're right. Akira brought what?" Ask Sou.

"Food is normal and nothing special" Akira said, showing him his lunchbox.

"Wahh the sausage was given eyes, it's funny..What did Akira's mother make?" Tanya Sou was excited.

Akira shakes. "I made it myself" said Akira smiling.

"I guess Akira's mother made, it's exhausted by the good guys" Sou smiled.

"Yes, if Mama makes it better than this" Akira smiled.

"Did your mother not prepare provisions for you?" Ask Sou.

"My mother died a long time ago" Akira said staring at her lunchbox.

Sou was very surprised. "(Jeez Sou, you made a big mistake) Sorry Akira, I don't know. I didn't mean it that way, please forgive me" Sou said regretfully.

Akira then shook his head quickly. "No Sou, it's not your fault. I know, I understand" Akira smiled.

"(Sou, you really did make a fatal mistake) I'm sorry Akira" Sou said lowered his head.

"I told you, it's not Sou's fault. Don't apologize like that Sou-Akira looked at Sou-Nah, let's eat before the rest is up" Akira smiled.

Sou looked at Akira, he really felt guilty towards Akira.

"What's wrong? Don't look at me like that Sou, it's scary" Akira said.

"Ah, hmm. that"

"Well let's eat, do you want my provisions?" Ask Akira.

"No" said Sou, turning his face away.

Akira knows Sou still feels guilty. He was also a little annoyed at being ignored by Sou. He then took out a sausage and stood in front of Sou.

"What's? Why?" Sou asked confusedly looking at Akira who was suddenly standing in front of him.

"Excuse me Sou, forgive me but don't ignore me!" Akira then pinched Sou's nose and put the sausage he had taken into Sou's mouth. After her sausage enters Sou's mouth, Akira then releases her pinch.

"Good" said Akira smiling.

Sou himself looked very surprised. He looked at Akira with a surprised look but he kept chewing on the sausage Akira had given him all of a sudden.

"Nake right?" Akira asked smiling.

Sou did not reply, he just nodded his head. 

"You scared me of Akira" Sou looked at Akira.

"What did I do to scare you?" Ask Akira.

Sou then narrowed his eyes. "You pranking me huh?"

Akira shakes. "No, I'm not pranking you. What are you saying?" akira shifted his eyes.

Sou then stood up, he approached towards Akira with a flat and cold face.

"What do you want?" Akira asked to look at Sou who he thought was terrible. There was no reply from Sou, he continued to slowly approach towards Akira.

"Stop there or I'll scream!" akira's threat.

"You won't be able to get away from me, Akira" said Sou, who continued to approach Akira.

Akira then closed his eyes tightly and both his hands were used to cover his ears for fear of Sou. Sou who saw that smiled.

Akira, who was terrified, was now confused because he felt nothing but something above his head. Akira then opened his eyes. He found Sou smiling sweetly with his right hand touching Akira's head while slightly bowing before him.

"Sou?" Call Akira. 

"You are so adorable Akira" Sou said, bringing her face even closer.

"I won't do anything to you, so don't worry" Sou said, then stroked Akira's head.

Akira who regained his head away from Sou, he looked at Sou for a while and then looked down.

"I'm sorry, I scared you" Sou smiled.

"That's okay" Akira said nervously.

"About" call Sou.

"Regarding your mother, I'm sorry. I really didn't mean it that way. I'm sorry" said Sou lowered his head.

"It's okay Sou, I also know that you didn't mean it that way. It doesn't matter" said Akira smilingly looking at Sou.

Hearing Akira's words, Sou then looked at Akira and smiled.

"Thank you" said Sou. "I'm sorry I ignored you and I'm sorry I scared you" she said.

"I'm also sorry for doing such an irreverent and outrageous thing, I'm so sorry" Akira stood up and bowed.

"What are you doing? It wasn't Akira's big deal, even though I was a little surprised earlier" Sou smiled.

"Sorry Sou" said Akira again.

"No, no. I should be the one to apologize to you. I promise I won't ignore you anymore" Sou smiled, followed by a smiling Akira.

"Well let's eat, we'll lose more time if we keep apologizing" Sou smiled.

"Sou's right, let's eat. You want the sausage again? Or eggs?" Ask Akira.

"Can I?" Ask Sou back.

"Of course, I also brought a lot today" Akira smiled.

"Thank you" said Sou smiling. 

They then share supplies and enjoy it together accompanied by a cool breeze and a clear view of the school from the roof. They both looked very happy, clearly drawn from the sweet smiles engraved on their faces.

(You can't do anything like that anymore Sou, or Akira will be sad later) Sou said inwardly looking at Akira.
