Chapter 12: He is my Beloved

Night at home...

Akira had just cleaned his body after a badminton practice. Even though his body was tired, he was still awake because his task was not done yet.

"Do his job now Akira, before it's too late" his monologue opens his book.

Some time later, a notification was heard from Akira's cellphone indicating that there was an incoming message.

"That's the night a message came in?" Confused Akira then took his phone.

"Sou?" Akira then opened the message.

Sou: "Akira, still up?"

Akira: "Yes, I'm still awake. What's up Sou?"

Sou: "Nothing, you said you were gonna stay up last night"

Sou: "Are you still doing your job?" 

Akira: "Yes, a little more done"

Sou: "I'm sorry I bothered you"

Sou: "I'll call you back when you're done with the job"

Sou: "Excite!!"

Akira: "Well, thank you Sou. Just a minute, yeah"

Sou: "Okay."

"What's the matter Sou called Akira these nights? Is there anything important? Well Akira has to finish the task first" Akira's monologue keeps his phone and goes back to work.

A while later...

"Finally it's done as well" Akira said, stretching his body.

"Ah right, Sou. Did Akira call Sou now? But it's been too late" his monologue looked at the clock that had shown at half a hour and one more.

"Try it first maybe? I fear something is important. Akira also had to apologize to Sou for this afternoon." Akira then took back his phone.

Akira: "Sou?"

Akira: "Are you asleep?"

Sou: "Not Akira, have you done your job yet?"

Akira: "It's been"

Akira: "What's up Sou, why call me at night? Is there something?"

Sou: "No, I just want to call you"

Sou: "So late in the afternoon you said you were going to stay up, so I wanted to keep you company"

Sou: "That's it:)"

Akira smiled reading Sou's message.

Akira: "Thank you Sou"

Akira: "Yes! Sou I apologize for Brother Shin earlier. I'm sorry if Brother Shin talks a no-no to you"

Sou: "Sister Shin?"

Sou: "Sister Shin didn't speak strangely, even though I was very scared when I was called out:)"

Akira: "If Brother Shin talks or does something bad to you, just say yes let me hit him"

Sou: "Did you dare to hit your own brother?"

Akira: "Of course, if he does something wrong:)"

Sou: "Hahaha, it turns out that Akira can be scary too huh"

Akira: "Really?"

Akira: "Just this time I was spooked by someone"

Sou: "I was just kidding Akira, sorry:("

Akira: "I know:)"

Akira: "Don't take Sou too seriously:)"

Sou: "You scared me:(("

Sou: "Well, it's 1 in the morning, you better get some sleep"

Sou: "We meet at school tomorrow"

Akira: "True, Sou also sleep. We'll meet at school tomorrow morning"

Sou: "Well, good night Akira"

Sou: "Is it good morning?"

Akira again smiled reading Sou's message.

Akira: "Good dawn huh?:)"

Sou: "Correct"

Sou: "Well, happy dawn Akira:)"

Sou: "Great dreams yes"

Akira: "Good dawn also Sou, you too:)"

Sou: "See you tomorrow"

Akira: "Yes, I'll see you tomorrow."

"Sou is there" said Akira smiling. "It's better Akira sleeps now or Akira will be late tomorrow" he said. He then kept his phone and went to sleep.

The next morning, at school...

"Later Brother pick you up, the spirit of learning" said Yuki ruffled Akira's hair.

"Don't be convinced, sister" said Akira, keeping his head away from Yuki's hands.

"Sorry, sorry" Yuki said with a faint smile.

"Good morning Akira, Brother Yuki" said Sou who passed by them.

"Well? Good morning" Yuki said with a smile.

"Good morning Sou" said Akira who also smiled.

"Alright, Brother go yes. Bye-bye Akira's. Bye -bye Sou."

"Bye-bye Sister. Be careful" Akira waved his hand, while Sou only bowed respectfully.

"Let's go in, too" Sou smiled.

"Yes." Yeah."

"What time did you sleep yesterday?" Ask Sou.

"Just after you called me" Akira smiled.

"Thank God" said Sou who was also smiling.

"Thank you for being with me yesterday. What time is Sou sleeping?"

"I was only able to sleep at 2" Sou said without seeing Akira.

"What do you do until you go to bed at 2 a.m? I'm the one who sleeps at 1 hour sleepy, especially Sou" said Akira staring at Sou.

"Why then? I don't know, I couldn't sleep after calling you yesterday" Sou smiled.

"Sleeping too late is not good, but Sou sleeps in the morning, not to mention having to go to school" the monologue Akira looked straight ahead.

"Are you worried about me?" Ask Sou.

"certain. If Sou gets sick later because he sleeps too late just because he calls me, I will not forgive myself" Akira said staring at Sou.

Sou smiled at Akira's statement. He then stopped in front of Akira.

"Thank you for worrying about me, Akira" Sou touched Akira's head with a smile.

Akira was silent in place. He was shocked as well as mesmerized by Sou's smile standing before him.

"You're so adorable. Don't be surprised like that Akira, I want to eat you" Sou told Akira.

"Ah, emm (Akira nods) sorry" he said lowered his head.

Sou again smiled at Akira's behavior. It looks so adorable to Sou.

"Come on Akira" Sou said, then walked ahead of Akira. Akira just nodded and walked following Sou.

In class...

"I'm Akira first" said Sou stopping at his seat.

"Yes" Akira replied smiling. He then sat on his own bench.

Shortly after, the bell rang.

"Friends, today Madam Master can not get into the classroom, but we are given a math assignment that must be completed and collected by the time the lesson is completed. I'll write the matter up front, do you have anything to ask?" Speaker of the class.

"Can the group not?" Ask a student.

"For the workmanship can discuss, cheating can also be provided that there are people who are kind enough to give the answer to others" said the class leader smiled.

"There again? It seems like everyone understands yes. If anyone wants to ask, just ask. I'll write it down" said the class leader again.

"It's quite difficult" said Ayano.

"Well, can I join? You're a math whiz, I don't know about it" said Rara, the student sitting in front of Akira.

"Maybe, let's work together" Akira smiled.

Akira and Ayano's benches are then surrounded by students who want to study together with Akira.

"Maybe friends, but since it's narrow here what if we do it in the back, but there's no table. Is it okay downstairs?" said Akira.

"No problem, the important thing is that I understand and my job is done" said Hana.

"That's right, let's move on" said the others.

They then moved to the back of the class because there was a large enough space.

"Miya come join, we learn together" Akira said smiling at one of his classmates. He hesitates to get close to Akira so he just stares at Akira and the other friends from his stool.

"Can I?" Asked Miya doubtfully.

"Certainly, come here" Akira replied smiling.

"Thank you" said Miya to Akira and sit next to him.

"If you have something to ask, ask. Don't hesitate" said Akira smiling.

"Well, thank you Akira" he said with a smile.

Akira then explained the problem and how to solve it to the students. He explained in detail and arranged so that his friends could understand. One by one the students asked Akira what he did not understand. Akira is not angry or upset despite having to explain it over and over again to the same person.

"Sorry Akira, I seem to be troubling you" Rara said.

"What did you say? I don't feel bothered by Rara and the other friends" Akira smiled.

"But I still do not understand, even though you have explained it many times before" said Rara sadly.

"No problem, I'll explain it again until you understand. Slow down" said Akira smiling. "Which part does he not understand?" Ask Akira again.

"This one" said Rara, showing what she did not understand.

Akira then explains slowly with sentences that are easy to understand by Rara until Rara and other friends finish their tasks.

"Thank you Akira" said Miya.

"Thank you very much Akira, you are the best" Rara said.

"True, thank you very much Akira" Hana smiled.

"Thank you, I know a little bit about math, thank you" said another student.

"Thank you Akira and all."

"Together friends" said Akira smiling.

They then returned to their respective seats after thanking Akira.

"My friend is very smart. You are the best Akira, thank you" Ayano smiled.

"Sama-sama, but I'm not that smart Ayano. Studying together is more fun, right?" Akira smiled.

"You're right, let's do it again later" Ayano smiled.

"Yes." Yeah."

(You are indeed a good person Akira, I am more and more amazed by you) Sou said in a heart that had been watching Akira with a smile.

"You why Sou? Don't smile at yourself" said Hiro, the student sitting next to Sou.

"No, it's okay."

At rest...

"Looks like you had enough trouble earlier, want to eat together again at the rooftop?" Take Sou to smile.

"I want to come" said Ayano spirit.

"By Sou" said Akira smiling. The three of them then went to the rooftop to eat together.

They sat back in the same place as yesterday, only today they were sitting down because the stool was not enough to sit three.

"Ck, chicken and vegetables again" said Sou clucked.

"Here, eat" said Akira gave a box of supplies smaller than his lunch box.

"What's this?" Ask Sou.

So, I opened the lunch box.

"Well, can I eat it?" Tanya Sou enthusiastically.

"May, but you also have to spend your supplies" said Akira smiling.

"Of course, thank you very much Akira" Sou said smiling sweetly.

(Sou can smile like this as well as it turns out. It was fortunate that I could see it) Ayano's inner gaze at Sou.

"Ayano, what's wrong?" Ask Akira.

"Huh? Ah no, there is nothing" Ayano shook her head.

"Here, Ayano also eat" said Akira gave some of his food stored to Ayano's lunchbox.

"Thank you Akira" Ayano smiled.

"Together."

"Enak" said Ayano staring at Akira. "What I-"

"Feeling you is always good, Akira" Sou smiled.

"Thank God, thank you Ayano, Sou" Akira smiled.

Ayano looked at the confused Sou. Sou then shook his head faintly as a gesture don't. Ayano then ignores Sou's behavior even though she doesn't understand what he means.

"Thank you for the food" Sou smiled.

"Thank you" Ayano smiled.

"Thank you for the food" said Akira, who also smiled.

"You brought your own bottle today" Sou said, seeing Akira drink.

"Of course, I can't make the same mistake and go back to bothering Sou" Akira smiled.

"What was Akira's fault?" Tanya Ayano was confused.

"Yesterday"

"Nothing, it's not something that poses a big problem" Sou said, cutting off Akira's talk.

Akira then looked at Sou who was smiling.

"Well, that's how it is" said Akira smilingly staring at Ayano.

"It doesn't matter if you keep it a secret, I'm not too curious either" Ayano smiled.

"Yes, it's not something that matters" Sou said, cutting off Akira's conversation. "The break is almost over, let's go back to class" Sou asked.

"True, let's go back before Master catches us" Ayano stood up.

"Alright" Akira smiled. He stood up and they went back to class.

Akira walks first down the stairs followed by Sou who walks along with Ayano at the back.

"It looks like you're popular with the kids in class. It must have been a hassle, right?" Asked Sou smiling.

"It doesn't matter to me. I'm happy to be useful to others" said Akira smilingly looking at Sou.

"I admire you" said Sou, walking ahead of Ayano to walk beside Akira.

"Ayano! I'm looking for you, want to come with us?" Asked one of Ayano's friends who was shouting at the end of the stairs.

"Yes, I'm coming" said Ayano who directly broke through the road between Akira and Sou which made Akira lose balance and stagger forward. Everyone there was surprised that Ayano's friend was no exception.

"Revelation!" Sou then catches Akira who almost falls on the stairs. Akira looked very surprised, his hand tightly holding Sou's arm.

"You're fine" said Sou staring at Akira.

Akira did not reply he just looked at Sou while tightening his grip on Sou.

"What are you doing?! You want to break through the street when you know it's on the stairs?" Said Sou coldly staring intently at Ayano.

"Sorry Akira, are you okay?" Tanya Ayano approached Akira. Akira again did not reply, he just nodded slowly with his face still shocked.

"Go, your friend is waiting for you" Sou said staring cynically at Ayano.

"But.."

"Ayano hurry up, the break is almost over" cried Ayano's friend.

Sou then stared intently at Ayano's friend. "Go!" said Sou pressed his sentence.

Ayano looked confused. It seems like she wants to head for her friend soon but she feels guilty towards Akira.

"I guess, sorry. Really forgive me" said Ayano regretfully as she bowed.

"I-I'm fine, don't worry" Akira smiled.

"really?" Tanya Ayano made sure.

"Right, I'm fine" Akira said with a smile.

"Sorry Akira. I go first" Ayano said again.

Akira nodded. "D-yes."

Ayano then left Sou and Akira who were still standing on the stairs.

"Ckk" Sou clucked at Ayano's departure. "Sit down here first" said Sou who was followed by Akira and then sat down next to him.

Akira then slowly pulled up Sou's sleeves.

"Are you really okay? You must be very surprised. Relax, I'm with you" said Sou holding Akira's shoulder.

"Akira was very scared" Akira said staring at the sleeves of Sou's clothes he pulled.

"It's okay, I'm here" Sou smiled.

"Thank you very much Sou" Akira said without looking at Sou.

"It doesn't matter Akira. What's up with him anyway? He could do something stupid like that. We're here for a while now" said Sou, who was adopted by Akira.

After a while, Akira then decides to return to class.

"Let's go back Sou, the break time is up" Akira said staring at his shoes.

"Right as well, come on" Sou said clasping Akira's hand. "Slow down" said Sou leading Akira.

In class...

"My friends have information that there is a teacher meeting so that no teacher will come in. Therefore, as usual we are given a group assignment and collected next week. I already sent the matter in the class group huh. Enjoy your free time friends" said the class leader.

"The group like yesterday? Or free to choose again?" Ask one of the students.

"Act right, I forgot to ask. How guys? What would it be like yesterday or different. I have to pass the group to Master" said the class leader again.

"It is better like yesterday so that we are not confused when presenting yesterday's tasks and today's tasks. It would be more troublesome when one forgets to be in which group if randomized again" one of the students suggested.

"How guys? I follow your wishes only" said the class leader. 

"Yes, that's all. You also don't want to write the names of the new groups, do you?" Speak to other students.

"Ckk, what are you saying? Very true" said the class leader who made everyone laugh. "What about the others?" Say again.

"Agreed."

"Agreed."

"Alright, the group is like yesterday huh. Any more questions?"

"Can you leave class?" Ask a student.

"It seems to be okay."

"We were lucky today. From morning until home no teacher came in" Ayano smiled. It seems like he forgot what he did to Akira earlier.

"Yes, but there is a task" said Akira who also smiled.

"We can do it next time. He's collecting it next week, isn't he?" Ayano.

Akira nodded. "You're right, but it would be better if he did it now to finish sooner" he said with a smile.

"You're not as cool as Akira" Ayano looked at Akira. "What should I do?" Ask again.

Akira seemed to think for a moment. "Ah right, I'll just go to the library, will Ayano come?" Ask Akira.

"Ayano you were called by the next child" said one of the students approaching Ayano.

"Wait a minute" Ayano told Akira.

It didn't take long, Ayano returned to her stool.

"Sorry Akira I can't seem to go to the bus, they took me to the cafeteria." 

"It's okay Ayano, I get it" Akira smiled.

"Then I go yes" said Ayano smiling and passing.

"Rara, are we really going outside?" Ask Akira.

"By Akira, where are you going?" Ask Rara.

"I want to go to the library but I'm afraid of being scolded."

"No, the teacher is in a meeting, right? So I don't think it's a problem, Akira. You take it easy, later if there is a teacher who enters let me tell you that you are going to the perpus." 

"Does it matter if it's like that?" Akira asked doubtfully, he did not want to trouble others.

"Of course, I'll deliver it later" he said again.

"All right, please yeah. Thank you very much, Ra" Akira smiled.

"Together."

Akira then went to the library. Because of his spare time, Akira decided to read books because all the books in his bag were textbooks that made his head dizzy.

"Ah right, all of you while doing the task earlier" said Akira then brought his book and pencil box. 

"Please Rara, thank you" Akira said.

"It doesn't matter to Akira" Rara smiled. Akira then walked out of the classroom.

The hallway...

"Where are you going?" Said Sou who suddenly walked beside Akira.

"I'm going to the library. Where are you going?" Ask Akira.

"Hmm. I haven't decided yet."

"So Sou just walked around without knowing where it was going?"

"That's how" said Sou smiling. "In that case, can I come to the bus with you?"

"Of course, no one is banning you" Akira smiled.

"Thank you" said Sou smiling.

In library...

"What do you like about books?" Asked Sou in a soft voice.

"I just read what I want to read, nothing special" Akira smiled. "All right, I'll look for him first."

"Yes, I also want to find an interesting book" Sou smiled. They then split up to find the book they were going to read.

"A lot of novels here, Akira so confused to read which one" Akira monologue down the bookshelf.

"The design of the book is very funny but very high. How did Akira take it?" Confused speech.

Akira then tries on his tiptoes to retrieve the book, but still does not arrive. "Just jump" said Akira who then jumped up and down to reach for his book.

"You can fall down like that" said Sou holding Akira's shoulder from behind. Akira was a little surprised and stopped jumping.

Sou then picks up the silver book that Akira really wants to read.

"This-Sou gave the book - Don't repeat it again yes, you can get hurt later" Sou smiled.

"Thank you" said Akira who also smiled.

"Sou got the book?" Ask Akira.

"Here, that's why I'm looking for you here" Sou smiled. "Let's sit there" she asked again.

They then sat on a bench a little further back. Akira sits opposite Sou and begins to read.

"Why are you carrying a book and a pencil case? Do you want to write something?" Ask Sou.

Akira nodded. "If there's time left, I want to take the job so that later it won't be too much" said Akira smiling.

"I'm in a group with you again, right? Why didn't you say that from earlier? I'm going back to class to pick up my book. It's okay if I leave you here alone?" Ask Sou.

"You can just use my book Sou, after all I want to read first, if there is time left just doing the job" explained Akira.

"But it's true what you said, we have a lot of free time today so we can do the job. But I don't want to be with a piece of paper because I'm forgetful" Sou explained. "Wait a minute, I'll be back soon" he said again.

"Alright" Akira smiled.

Sou then leaves Akira alone. Akira decides to read the book first while waiting for Sou to return.

Some time later there were 2 students who approached Akira.

"You're Akira, right?" Ask one of the students.

"Right, what's up?" Akira was confused.

"Why alone? My mother said it's not good to leave a beautiful girl alone" she smiled.

(What the fuck? Are they bad guys? There's no one here anymore, how is this? Akira was afraid) Akira stared in confusion at the two people standing before him.

"I'm sorry, but I've been with my friend" Akira said standing up from his seat.

"No problem" he said again. "May I sit next to you?" Ask again. Just as the student was about to step up, Sou suddenly came over and pulled Akira's arm.

"I'm sorry, but he's my lover" Sou said staring intently at the two students.

(Love?!)

"Gosh, it turns out he's the Ice Prince's lover" muttered the other student.

"Sorry we just-"

"You will deal with me if you bother him" Sou said still staring intently at the two.

"Pardon us" said the student then left in a hurry. They didn't leave the library just changing seats.

"You're okay? Is anyone hurt?" Sou asked looking at Akira.

"Ah, um. Nothing, I'm fine" said Akira lowered his head. "Thank you very much Sou."
