Chapter 15: Happy Birthday

The next day, Ayano actually spent 1 full day with Akira and friends in class. Either because it was planned or how, on this day his friends did not find and invite Ayano to go together. Ayano also did not go out to meet her friends. He started talking a lot with classmates, because usually he will be in class only during lessons so Ayano is not too close to other friends.

"It turns out that being quiet in class is also very fun" Ayano smiled.

"Couldn't you?" Akira smiled.

"I always go on breaks or empty hours, I want to be closer to my friends here" Ayano said.

Akira nodded. (It looks like the plan was a success) "Yes" Akira smiled.

"Well, Ayano want to play cards together?" Ask Hana who is playing cards on the front bench.

"I don't understand card games" Akira smiled.

"Well, it turns out Akira sucks at games like this. I thought you were great in all aspects" Hana smiled.

"I told you, I'm not that great" Akira smiled.

"Let me play" said Ayano standing up.

"Can, come. You rarely play with us" Hana said again.

"Hehe. I'm sorry" said Ayano smiling.

Ayano then goes to Hana and other friends who are playing cards. Along with Ayano's departure, Sou approaches Akira.

"Tumben once he was in class for almost a full day" Sou stared at the busy Ayano in front.

"Didn't he admit his mistake? This is the proof" Akira smiled. 

"It looks like you're right" said Sou who also smiled.

"Are you still angry with him?" Akira asked, looking at Sou.

"From the beginning I wasn't angry, I was just upset by his attitude. He is free to be friends with anyone because that is his right, but I will not forgive anyone who leaves his friend even Akira" Sou explained.

Akira smiled, he nodded. "I can't possibly leave my friend and I don't want Sou to be upset with me" Akira smiled.

"You are" said Sou, who smiled.

When I go home to school...

"See you, Sou, Ayano. Yes carefully. Bye-bye" said Akira waving his hand.

"Bye-bye" said Sou waving his hand as well.

"Akira and Kak Yuki are also careful, see you later" Ayano smiled.

"Be careful on the road" Yuki said. "Let's go Akira, we'll go home too."

"Yes Brother."

Sou, Ayano, and Akira then return to their respective homes.

(Is Sou still angry huh? I even forgot Akira's plan earlier) said Ayano who was walking behind Sou.

"Mixing with classmates isn't a bad thing, is it?" Said Sou without looking back.

"From the beginning I was not angry with you, just annoyed and not like it" said Sou who again made Ayano a little surprised.

"Is that so? I promise not to repeat it again" Ayano lowered her gaze.

Sou nodded. "See you tomorrow" Sou said with a faint smile at Ayano.

"Yes, see you. Careful" replied Ayano who was taken by Sou.

"What does this mean that the plan Akira made was successful? Thank goodness" Ayano muttered happily looking at Sou's back.

The Akira house...

There were several times the notification went to Akira's cellphone stored at the dining table.

"About the phone sounds constantly, noisily" said Yuki slightly disturbed.

"Sorry, wait a minute" said Akira who was cooking.

"So don't open it? From that moment it reads, fear is important" said Yuki again.

"Yes, please" said Akira who is still busy with his work.

"From Ayano, don't open it?"

"Then let it go, Ayano must have asked about the task."

Soon Akira finished cooking and arranged his meal at the dinner table.

Ayano: "Sou smiled!"

Ayano: "Are you training?"

Akira smiled at the good news from Ayano.

Akira: "I haven't gone to practice"

Akira: "Thank God"

Akira: "You've worked hard, congratulations"

Ayano: "What are you saying?"

Ayano: "It's thanks to your plan"

Ayano: "Thank you"

Akira: "No, no. I didn't do anything"

Akira: "Although this is my plan, but the one who decided to follow it or not is Ayano's decision, so it's purely Ayano's effort"

Ayano: "Thank you"

Akira smiled at the phone screen.(Thankfully, this way they don't have to be upset or awkward anymore).

"What's wrong? Did something good happen?" Yuki asked to see Akira smiling.

"That's how you are" said Akira who also smiled.

"Yes, eat first. After this Akira has to go to practice" Yuki said again.

Night at home...

"About home" said Akira entering the house. Akira came home late because today was the last exercise before routine evaluation in Platnas for the next 5 days.

"Why did the light die? Brother Yuki, the lights are off" Akira told Yuki, who was still behind him.

"Did you forget to pay for electricity?" Akira then took his phone and turned on the flashlight.

(Hopefully Akira did not meet a creepy ghost. Akira is more willing to meet a beautiful and handsome ghost like an anime character)

"Sister Yuki hasn't huh? Akira won't be electrocuted, will he?" Akira said he would press the light switch.

"Sister Yuki, haven't you?!" Shouted Akira.

"At least just electrocuted, right? Let's try it" Akira said, then turned on the switch.

DUARR!!!

The sound of an explosion that was not too big but enough to shock Akira. When the lights are on, the entire house is filled with balloons and other birthday trinkets.

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday Akira, happy birthday to you!"

Akira who was still surprised by the sound of the explosion just silently stared at the place. His body froze so surprised.

"Happy birthday dear" said Papa hugging Akira.

Akira then returned his Papa's embrace. "What's Akira's birthday now? Isn't tomorrow?" Akira was confused.

"Huh? Isn't it the 28th? Am I wrong?" Said Shinji who was also confused.

"Today is the 28th" Yuki said confidently

"Date 27 Brother" said Akira.

"really?" tanya Papa let go of her hug and then checked her phone.

"Do you know Papa and Brother?" Said Papa after finding the 28th on his phone screen. Papa then pinches Akira's nose.

Akira chuckles at Papa and his brother who are busy looking at each other's cell phones to see the date today.

"You are" Naoya pinched Akira's cheek.

"Aah is sick, sister" said Akira, distancing his face from Naoya.

"Already, already. Make a wish and then blow the candle" Papa smiled.

(I guess I hope Akira, Papa, Nao Brother, Shin Brother, and Yuki Brother are always healthy and happy. May our family stay harmonious and all goes well. May Akira be an athlete who can boast of Papa, Brother, and if possible the entire community in this country. Akira wants to be the representative to bring this fragrant country to the Olympics, may God grant it, Amin)

"Huh" Akira blew out the candles.

"Happy birthday yes, Papa's son is already a big one. May all of Akira's hopes be achieved" Papa said, re-hugging Akira.

"Happy birthday Akira" Naoya said, hugging his sister. "Healthy yeah."

"Thank you, sister" Akira replied to Naoya's embrace.

"Let me wish 1 thing for Akira's birthday huh?" shinji approaches Akira.

"Can" said Akira smiling.

Shinji closed his eyes "Hopefully.. Akira doesn't piss me off anymore" he said, then hugged Akira. "Happy birthday."

"Thank you, sister, but it looks like Akira will continue to disturb Brother" Akira said staring at Shinji.

"Be careful if you dare to do it" said Shinji releasing his embrace and Akira just laughed a little.

"Happy birthday yes, may all Akira's ideals be achieved" said Yuki who also embraced Akira.

"Thank you, sister" Akira replied to Yuki's embrace.

"Let's cut the cake, you want to try it" Shinji said.

"The temple has Akira, brother" said Akira.

"Yes my brother asked" said Shinji flatly.

"I am Shinji" Shinji said confusedly.

"Alright, come on, sister" Akira smiled. They cut the cake and ate it together.

"This is a gift from Papa" said Papa gave his card on the sidelines of eating cake.

"About opening yes" said Akira then opened a big gift from the Papa.

"Wahh.. is very cool, thank you very much Pa" said Akira staring amazed 2 pieces of racket and badminton bag that he got. "About using it when Akira plays. Thank you Pa" said Akira again.

"Every dear" said Papa smiling.

"It's from Brother" Naoya said giving the card. 

"Thank you, Akira, open up" Akira smiled.

"certain."

"Wahh, thank you sister" said Akira smiling happily.

"Sama-sama" Naoya smiled.

"It's from Big Brother" said Yuki gave a pretty big gift.

"Well, again the card's big. Thank you brother, Akira open yes" Akira smiled and Yuki nodded in agreement.

"Wahhh funny thing is, very anxious" said Akira get a teddy bear with a large size pink with red ears and legs and scarves and a gold hat.

"Thank you sister, very soft and adorable" said Akira hugging the doll.

"About liking it?" Ask Yuki.

"Of course, thank you" Akira smiled.

"Sama-sama" said Yuki, ruffling Akira's hair with anxiety.

"Actually Big Brother doesn't want to give Akira a gift because Akira always annoys Big Brother but-"

"But Akira also did not want to get a prize" Akira said, cutting off Shinji's conversation.

"Then is the prize thrown away?" Shinji asked Akira.

"Don't dong Kak, just make Akira?" Akira smiled.

"Good night too Brother, Papa, Brother Nao, Brother Shin. Thank you for the surprise and gift" Akira smiled.

"Beloved together. Papa first yes" said Papa went to his room.

"Sleeping well Akira, bye bye" said Yuki who also went to the room.

"Either. Sleep there, it's night" Shinji said.

"Sir, this is going to sleep too. Akira goes up first" said Akira to bring all his gifts to the room.

"About even forgetting Akira's birthday is now" Akira said as he cleared up his gift.

"Today, you slept with Akira ya" Akira told the doll Yuki gave. 

The next day...

"Sister, Akira asked for Ayano and Sou yes" Akira told Yuki, who was eating Akira's birthday cake last night. It turned out that Papa and Naoya prepared each one of the birthday cakes for Akira so that there were still many cakes left.

"Good Brother." Akira then puts a few pieces of cake into the lunchbox to eat with Ayano and Sou at school.

At school...

"Would you eat together again?" Said Sou approaching Akira and Ayano.

"It looks like I'm not coming, I promised them" Ayano looked at Sou.

"It's okay. This is for Ayano" Akira smiled, giving Ayano a small lunchbox.

"What's this?" Ask Ayano.

"Open up later" said Akira smiling.

"Thank you very much Akira" Ayano smiled.

"Let's go Akira" said Sou, who is taken by Akira.

"We go first Ayano" said Akira.

"Yes." Yeah."

They then walked together to the rooftop. Rooftop is the best place for Akira and Sou to eat.

"It's a shame we can't eat together" Akira said.

"Let it go, let him look for us" Sou said coldly.

Akira then nodded. "This is for you" said Akira gave a lunch box that is not too big.

"Well..what is this? Thank you" Sou smiled. Then he opened it.

"Kue, did you make it?" Sou asked looking at Akira.

"No, Brother Nao took him yesterday" explained Akira.

"It's like a birthday cake, is today your birthday?" Ask Sou again.

Akira just nodded slowly.

Sou was silent for a moment and smiled. "Happy birthday to Akira."

"Thank you very much Sou. Let's eat" said Akira smilingly who was embraced by Sou. They then ate their food voraciously while occasionally joking.

"Thank you Akira" Sou smiled.

"Sama-sama Sou" said Akira who also smiled.

"Let's get off, or do you still want to be here?" Ask Sou.

"We go down" replied Akira.

They then walked back to class. But when going to turn right in the direction of their class, Sou walked to the hallway on the left, different directions from the hallway that leads to his class.

"Sou, where are you going?" Akira asked to stop his steps.

"Let's come with me for a while" said Sou pulling Akira's hand.

"Where are we going Sou?" Ask Akira again.

"You'll know later" Sou smiled.

Hearing Sou's words, Akira only resigned even though he was confused about where to take him.

Sou stopped his steps in front of the music room. He knocked on the room and opened it. Then they looked around the class.

"It looks like there's nobody here" Sou said pulling Akira inside.

"Why are we here Sou?" Akira asked confusedly.

Sou did not answer Akira's question. He removed his grasp and took out 1 seat placed on the right side of the piano. Akira just stared at the confused Sou.

"Sou-"

"About sitting here" said Sou patting the chair that was stored near the piano.

"Wait, what do you want to do? We won't be scolded later. If any teacher sees how?" said Akira.

"Let me be in charge. Now sit here" Sou said again.

Akira can only step down and do what Sou says. Akira sat in the chair that Sou and Sou showed and then sat in front of the piano with a smile.

"Allow me, Arashii Souta plays one song for you, ohime-sama" Sou said, bowing his body with his right hand tucked away in his left chest. Just like a prince asking permission to dance with his daughter.

Akira was quite surprised and confused at the same time.

"Suddenly? There was an ap- (Akira saw Sou looking at her in the same position as her sweet smile) Sure, let me listen to your beautiful song ouji-sama" said Akira smiling sweetly.

Sou looked surprised but he then smiled faintly and nodded. Sou started playing the piano. The sound produced by Sou is very soothing, soft, and warm like enjoying cherry blossoms in spring. His fingers shrewdly pressed one by one nots without any mistake. He occasionally looked and smiled at Akira.

Akira is amazed and surprised by Sou's ability, visible from the radiance of his eyes. She smiled sweetly at Sou and enjoyed the song played by him.

(About not knowing that Sou is also good at playing the piano, very beautiful) Akira looked at Sou who was also smiling at him.

A while later, Sou finished his game very subtly. Until the last note, Akira really enjoyed the piano game Sou. 

"Hows it? Are you satisfied ohime-sama? This is my birthday present" Sou bowed again.

Akira smiles. "This is the sweetest and most beautiful gift, thank you very much Sou" said Akira smiling happily.

"When the previous call was better" murmured Sou averted his gaze. "Once again, happy birthday Akira" said Sou smilingly looking at Akira.

"Thank you very much Sou. Thanks for the piano game, I really like it. Thank you" said Akira smiling followed Sou who was also smiling.

"Ding dong. 5-minute break" The bell rang.

"It looks like we have to get to class, Sou" Akira said.

"Yes Akira, come on."

In class...

"It's a good thing that Master hasn't come" said Akira relieved.

"You're right, I'm Akira first" Sou said, stopping on his stool.

"Yes, thank you very much ouji-sama" said Akira smiling in a soft voice but still heard by Sou. Akira then walked to his stool.

Sou was silent for a moment and smiled.

"Basar Akira" murmured Sou smilingly looking at Akira.
