Chapter 24: The Suspect

"Listen to the children," called Mr. Master to gather all the disciples in one room. "The events of yesterday are really very dangerous. We acknowledge our negligence as your supervisor in this event. We have been scolded by our superiors because of this incident. So, we are very grateful if you can explain what happened especially for the Sou group" he explained.

Silent. There was no reply from any of the students there.

"We understand that this was an unavoidable accident especially in a forest like this. But our school is a superior school so you could say this is the 'disgrace' of the school. Therefore, the owner of the school wanted to find the culprit because the directions were quite heavy, even by humans alone it took time to move it so this was impossible because of the actions of animals let alone the wind" obviously Mr. Teacher is long.

Everyone was silent to the teacher's explanation. Some put on a confused face, afraid, not even caring.

"We will reduce the punishment for the perpetrator if he surrenders now" the teacher said.

Everyone went back to silence. The atmosphere was very quiet, everyone was confused because no one felt they were doing it. Even after 20 minutes, the atmosphere remained unchanged. No one wants to talk.

"Huh," the Master sighed, "it's fine if no one claims to have survived enjoying the punishment of children. Excuse me" he said, then left the students in the room.

"Friends, this is indeed an accident, but if anyone feels doing it better be honest. This will affect other friends who don't. Please cooperate" said the Class Chair.

Sou nodded, "my group consists of me, Hiro, Akira, Hana, Miya, and Ayano. The order of our path is me at the very front, Ayano, Hana, Miya, Akira, and Hiro at the very back" Sou explained.

"Forward" the Chairman said.

"Honestly, I made this happen. I didn't notice my men walking in the back. I just led them without making sure the members were behind me, but Miya always told me that Akira and Hiro were left behind. They had even been left behind a few times already," Sou explained again.

"I admit it was my fault and Akira for talking too much, sorry" Hiro said.

"I'm sorry too" said Akira, bowing his body.

"This is wrong means," said Sisi, one of Ayano's friends.

"It was also our fault for not paying attention to them" Ayano said, as agreed by Hana and Miya.

"Then, explain what my goal is to change course and get Hiro and Akira lost?" Said Sou slightly annoyed.

"Where do I know, who has a brain, why do you ask me? You're so clingy with that girl anyway, you might want to be alone with her and do something to satisfy you, right?" Also again.

Sou stared intently at Ayano's friend. "It doesn't make sense. Bringing my feelings and closeness to Akira and connecting him in an incident like this. Akira then nodded. Actually he was confused Sou suddenly asked like that, but he really trusted Sou.

"Thank you" said Sou smiling. "You heard it too, didn't you? Akira trusts me. Think about it, lady, why would I have to do such a troublesome thing if I could talk to her and make her trust me?" Said Sou with a trivial expression.

"True, why didn't he just take her?" Say to another student.

"He has a point too" said another student.

"really. Akira seems to trust him a lot"

"Sisi's opinion makes no sense" agreed another disciple.

"What did Akira say?" Ask the Chief who is sitting across from Akira.

"No, it's not an important issue. This has nothing to do with this case" Hana said.

"Right, it has nothing to do" said the student again.

"alright. Do not whisper, we are discussing a serious matter" said the Chairman.

"Good!" Say them in unison.

"If you think about it, Sou's right. Your reasons are not based on Sisi" said the Chairman who was approved by other students. "Please continue your explanation Sou" the Chairman said.

Sou then stared intently at Sisi. "Thank you" said Sou smiling. "After searching for some time, I then found them with Hiro who was injured from falling into the valley. My explanation is quite up to here" Sou explained.

"Hmm, if it's like that we also have a hard time finding the culprit. Is there anything strange or suspicious?" Ask the Chairman again.

"Ah right. Ayano, didn't you go to pick up your fallen pin?" Ask Miya.

"Do you accuse me of being the culprit?" Ayano was upset.

"No, I didn't mean that. I really didn't mean it that way. I mean, you'll come back to pick up your pin who knows you saw someone change the lead" Miya explained.

"Of course, it's my precious pin so I need to find it quickly. I was also afraid of being alone so I ran towards Sou and the others when I found him" Ayano explained.

"It's pretty weird in my opinion, anyway," said Hiro in disbelief. "Sou said, he left for a moment after deciding to rest, that means he didn't even sit down at all right?" Ask Hiro.

"Yes" answered Hana.

"He said the pin was found deep down, Hana said about 3 minutes and didn't hear any noise. It's impossible for someone to change his lead before Ayano goes back in that direction because he immediately leaves in a hurry while to change the clue takes time" Hiro explained.

"Hiro is right, the chances are very small because Ayano was right to run after asking us for permission. Otherwise, we assume that the offender has the speed and ability to neutralize his movements so as not to cause any sound. We also assume that Hiro and Akira get lost after Ayano returns, because otherwise they would have already met"

Everyone seemed to be thinking along with the explanation from Sou and Hiro.

"But Sou, I don't think that Akira and I have been left behind since we've been running so fast, have we, Akira?"

"I'm serious, I didn't hear anything" Ayano explained.

"There's nothing wrong with Sou" Hiro said. "There was a strange time span and Ayano who did not hear any sound. I'm pretty sure we're running fast, and I don't think I'm running for 3 minutes to get to that lead"

"Right, I'm also sure we didn't go that far and we should have met Ayano back then. What don't-don't-"

"true." Sou's words cut off Akira's conversation.

"The choice is only 2, Ayano went to look for pins into the forest that could be said to be out of route or she lied" Sou said with a faint smile.

"Whatchu mean? You're saying I lied?" Ayano did not accept.

"Sorry, sorry. I didn't mean that. Let me ask you again. Did you go into the woods to find your pin?" Ask Sou.

"No-no, I'm just looking at the route we walk" Ayano said.

"It means the time is strange" said one of the students.

Sou then smiled. "No, the timing's not weird but he-"

"Lied!" Hiro stared intently at Ayano.

Hiro's words left everyone shocked and confused.

"You're accusing me?" Ayano was upset.

"Hiro, it seems too excessive to directly accuse him" said the Chairman.

"He didn't accuse you, he said the truth" Sou smiled. "You admit it or do I need to explain it to everyone? Please choose miss" said Sou smiled lightly.

"What the fuck are you! He didn't do it! You're just accusing him of not knowing the real culprit, right?" Said Sisi annoyed.

"I didn't do it! That slander is more cruel than murder, you know?" Ayano.

Sou then approached Ayano. "You think I'm saying this without proof? You'd be more embarrassed if you didn't admit it now!" Sou's whisper was right in Ayano's ear.

"really that? Are you the one"

"Really! I did it, are you satisfied huh!!" Ayano's shout cut off Akira's talk.

"You must have told him to plead guilty, right? He was threatened by friends, Sou threatened him!" Bela Sisi's.

"You satisfied huh?" Ayano asked Sou.

"No, I'm not satisfied" whispered Sou. "Nah now the culprit has admitted it himself. Before calling the teacher, let him explain the reason" Sou smiled.

"Stop! You've embarrassed him enough!" Shouted Ayano's other friends.

"Harmfully? I haven't even humiliated her yet, this isn't how much of a friend" Sou smiled faintly. "You know? I really hate people who lie, so tell me now!" Firmly Sou to Ayano.

"I did it" said Ayano loudly.

"What did you say? You're just a victim, jang-"

"I did" Ayano said, bowing her head. "Because of the incident the other day, I was really upset with Hiro" he explained.

"Obsolute? You guys quarreling?" Ask Chairman.

"No, we didn't fight. He and his friends plan to get Akira lost in the woods alone. They even laughed like demons" Hiro said staring intently at Ayano and her friends.

Everyone there looked very surprised, especially Akira. He looks so shocked.

"Is that true Ayano?" Ask Akira.

"Certainly,"

"Bed*bah this" muttered Hana.

"I thought so" said Rara.

"S*dance you!" Sou squeezed Ayano's shoulder with a stern look. Sou actually held back his anger for today, but he instead obtained another fact that made Sou even more furious.

"Sick Sou!" Ayano grimaced.

"Why did you do it? Did I do you wrong? If so, why don't we talk about it so well, why should it be like that? And why are you dragging Hiro? He was even injured yesterday" sounded a considerable disappointment in every sentence Akira lay down. 

"You're too much of a fox girl!" hana said annoyed.

"Sou, let Sou go!" Hiro mediates.

"You are a fox man! You're more rotten than a fly. You must be taught a lesson!" annoyed Sou was still squeezing Ayano's shoulders hard.

"Sick Sou! Release!" yell Ayano.

"Sou, Sou let him go" said Hiro pulling Sou away from Ayano.

"Enough Sou. He will be sanctioned quite heavily, have stopped" said the Chairman mediated.

"Sou's enough, let her go" said Akira pulling Sou's shirt.

Sou then released his hand from Ayano. "One more time you do it, I'm really gonna kill you and I'm not messing around for it!" said Sou staring intently at Ayano.

The situation there is quite uncontrollable. Hiro, the Chairman, Akira, and some of the people there tried to break Sou and Ayano. Not a few who talk about the attitude of Ayano and her friends are very outrageous. They stared cynically at Ayano and her friends.

After successfully separating Sou and Ayano, they were then conducive back.

"But sir, we did not go along to harm Akira" Sisi said.

"Do you think we don't know? We've installed eavesdroppers and surveillance cameras in this room. We know everything" said the Chief. "And the plan that Hiro said, it's been recorded on the school's surveillance CCTV. Now pack your things, we'll get you back" ucaonha again.

"Thank you for helping us find the culprit. Now go back to each room to start tomorrow" said Mr. Head then out with people who are troubled.

"S*dane!" Said Sou hitting the floor.

"Sorry Hiro" said Akira.

"Why are you apologizing?"

"Because of him, if only I was hurt, I'm sorry Hiro, really" Akira said again.

Hiro then stroked Akira's head. "It's not your fault, don't put on such a sad face. You make me feel guilty" Hiro smiled. 

"Did he really say it was Hiro?" Ask Chairman.

"You can hear the CCTV footage yourself at school" Hiro replied.

"Why didn't you tell me about this?" Ask Hiro. "I told you to stay away from him, didn't I? Do you understand now?" Sou asked turned to look at Akira.

"Hm, I understand" Akira said with teary eyes.

"Don't cry. Your tears are precious so don't waste them on a bed*bah like her. I will always take care of you, don't worry" Sou stroked Akira's head.

"Hm"

"Yosh yosh, good boy" said Sou stroking Akira's head. "At least he got social sanctions for his actions. It would be more painful than physical torture" he said, who was taken in by Hiro and the Class Chair.

"really. You did well Sou, thank you" Hiro smiled.

"Thank you Sou" said Akira.

"Kids, the problem is over. Thank you for your hard work, you can go back to your room. Rest tomorrow there is a cooking competition and pull the mine, so prepare yourself" said Mrs Guru.

"Good Mom! Speak students simultaneously.

"Come on Akira" Sou smiled.
