Chapter 25: Akira's Statement

After a full day of discussing the perpetrators who had made Akira and Hiro lost and injured, the camp activities went well again. Ayano and her friends have been punished according to the words of the school principal. 

Though Akira was eager to believe that Ayano's bad behavior was only following his friend, but this incident really made Akira aware and disappointed. There was nothing to defend Akira anymore, nothing to be expected from Akira anymore. His trust in Ayano faded a little. 

Someone said that we should not trust anyone too much, because your own shadow will leave you in the dark. This was felt by Akira. He understood why all his friends were like that to Ayano and how Sou told him to stay away from her, Akira really understood now.

"About, we should prepare the ingredients for the BBQ today. The men have prepared the grill" Hana smiled.

"Well Hana, come on."

"Akira and Hana are in charge of grade 1A BBQ so please help!" Said the Head of Spirit.

"Well, wait a minute" Akira smiled.

Akira and Hana then grill the meat and its complement for dinner together.

"Do I need to help you?" Tanya Sou walked over to Akira and Hana.

"No need!" Ketus Hana's.

"You're so tired, did I do you wrong?" Sou asked confusedly.

"No, you did nothing wrong. But if you help us out here, you're just gonna talk to Akira alone and I'm the mosquito, right?" Ask Hana.

Akira and Sou who heard Hana's words then cast off their respective gazes with slightly flushed faces.

"They are timid" Hana said in her heart.

"I-iya Sou, no need. You just wait with the others. Later when it's finished I will tell you" said Akira smilingly cutting off Sou's conversation.

"alright. Please make it good yes, thank you" Sou said smiling at Akira.

"Sure" Akira replied smiling. Sou then left from there.

"About you like it?" Ask Hana.

"Eh? What's?"

"I asked if you like Sou?" Ask Hana again. "Calm down, I won't tell anyone. You can trust me" he said again after getting a timid expression of Akira.

"That's.."

"That?"

"Hm" Akira nodded in agreement.

Hana looked very surprised. "BE TRUE LIKE THAT!!!" Shouted Hana which made everyone look at her.

"Hana, you.." ucao Akira panicked.

"A-ah I'm sorry, I'm sorry for the noise. Sorry" Hana bowed a few times to everyone.

"What's up Hana? Why are you screaming like that?" Ask the Chairman to worry.

"What's wrong?" Tanya Sou walked over to Akira and Hana.

"No, nothing. I was just surprised that Akira was patting the flying mosquitoes" Hana explained smiling awkwardly.

"Huh?" Said Akira, Sou and the Chairman together. They then exchanged looks.

"You okay?" Sou asked looked at Hana confusedly.

"You're weird Han. I can also pat the mosquitoes, what are you surprising about? Can't you swat a mosquito?" The chairman was confused.

"Ah. Have the Chairman, Sou, come back. Later I will call if it is ripe" said Hana embarrassed.

"Be careful Akira, please take care of him, fear his brain is a little disturbed" said the Chairman to Akira.

"Ckk, go, Chief!" Ketus Hana pushes the body of the Chairman. "You too, Sou back, this is a woman's business. Sana's gone" drive Hana.

"Yes, yes I'm leaving" Sou understood. He then leaves from Akira and Hana's place.

"You're what the fuck is Hana? I was already scared to death" Akira said worriedly.

"I'm sorry, I didn't think you liked it. It made me a little shocked" Hana smiled. "So how's it going? Did you say it?" Ask for spirit

"No, I haven't said it yet. I don't know how I say it" Akira said gloomily.

"Sou how is it? Did he tell you?"

Akira shifted his eyes. His face was slightly red with a faint smile. "That's.."

"From your expression it seems to have been yes" said Hana smiling. "You two are a good fit. I'm very supportive of you guys. Have you answered it?"

Akira shook his head weakly. "I don't know how to say it" Akira said sadly. "Many things pop into my head when I think about it. Like what if we're really going out, what if we fight later, what if he doesn't like me anymore, me.."

"You think too much about Akira" said Hana holding onto Hana's shoulder. "Your mind is too far ahead. Didn't he say he likes you? If you accept his feelings just say it, no need to think anymore. He won't leave because he already loves you. Just enjoy the time you go through now, just think about it later. You're too worried about Akira" explained Hana.

"But.."

"Don't be afraid. I'm sure he won't get angry or dislike you, he won't leave you. Instead he'll feel sad if you hang him too long."

Akira was silent for a moment. He thought about what Hana said.

"I think you're right, but I really don't know how to convey it. If only I had answered him directly, I wouldn't have been this loud" Akira explained sadly.

"Hm, is that it?" Hana nodded in understanding. "I understand your confusion, but I'm also confused right now. But all I know is, from my point of view, she really, really likes you Akira. Just this time I saw the Ice Prince like this" Hana said with a light laugh.

"Es? Ice Prince? What'sthat?" akira was surprised.

"You don't know? I thought you knew" said Hana in surprise. "Since at Junior High School, Sou was a very cold person. He rarely smiled and spoke as necessary. He doesn't like to be noisy and very closed. All he does every day is learn and learn. I don't know what's going on but he's really someone like that" Hana explained.

"really? I just found out. It's only fitting that everyone looks very surprised if Sou smiles" Akira said. "Sou also said his parents were very hard when it comes to academics" Akira said in his heart.

"I'm her Junior High friend anyway, so I know how she's been all this time" explained Hana again.

"It turns out Hana is a friend of Sou Junior High" said Akira understood.

"Right," said Hana smiling. "That kind of attitude makes it difficult to approach. He seemed to have a very sturdy fortress that was difficult to penetrate. His handsome face and cold demeanor made friends call him the Ice Prince. Yeah, I admit he's handsome but creepy let alone his sharp and cold stares,"

"You're right. I'm also afraid of his gaze being like that" Akira agreed.

"No, not to me but to Ayano. I was really scared of him back then" explained Akira.

"yes too. Where she might show it to you, she will love you" Hana smiled. "When I went to high school and went back to class with him, I was worried and a little scared by his attitude. But I always see a warm look from the look in her eyes when I'm with you. It surprised me so much. I was thinking, it turns out Sou can also be like this and he is not a bad person. I'm not too afraid of him. After that you guys got really close and she always smiled when she was with you, it made me really relieved" Hana explained.

"Even if it's not me or anyone else, at least she can smile and it's thanks to you, Akira. He smiles, laughs, even gets angry at you. She loves you so much, really loves you" Hana smiled.

"It doesn't mean I like it, I don't like it one bit. He looks very gloomy at Junior High, but when he meets you he can smile maybe even more. I'm just grateful that the world isn't always dark so I'm also very happy especially when you say that you love her too. Therefore I shouted earlier, I was completely shocked," Hana explained smiling. "So I thought, you should also say it so that he doesn't come back as gloomy as he used to be, Akira" 

"Are you ready yet? We are hungry" said Hiro who suddenly arrived.

"Well, this is the last one" Hana replied smiling.

"Alright," Hiro said then left from there.

"Don't forget what I said earlier Akira" Hana smiled. "Come, help me. We have to feed the class"

"I understand. Thank you Hana, I won't forget it" Akira smiled.

"Friends, the BBQ is ready!" Shouted Hana.

They then gathered and ate together accompanied by the joking and happy jokes of everyone.

"Thank you for the food, Akira" said Sou, approaching Akira.

"Sama-sama Sou," said Akira smilingly.

"It looks like I'm going to go straight to sleep because I ate a lot of good today" he said, smiling again.

"Hm, sleep well Sou. This morning, thank you very much"

"You're still thinking about it apparently"

"of course. I really didn't expect Ayano to do all that until Hiro got hurt" Akira said.

"Don't think too much about Akira, Hiro is fine too, isn't he? You also have to be happy to follow this camp" said Sou holding Akira's shoulder.

"Sure Sou. Let's join the others" asked Sou-nurtured Akira.

They spend their nights happily and also with good food. When they finished, they all went back to their rooms to rest.

By midnight...

"About being able to sleep, maybe drinking something warm could help." Akira woke up from his sleep and then went to the kitchen to make warm milk so that he was sleepy and could fall asleep. 

"Woah, it's beautiful" said Akira staring in amazement at the view he saw from the window. "Maybe a little walk isn't a problem"

A pretty cold night wind hits Akira's tiny body. The scattered stars helped the moon illuminate the dark night sky to amaze him. 

"The stars are so many.The moon is also very bright, very beautiful" said Akira ceaselessly staring in awe at the night view in front of him.

"I want to show it to Papa and Brother" he said opening the phone and taking pictures.

"What are you doing these nights?" Ask someone who surprised Akira.

"I'm sorry" said Sou smiling. "What are you doing here? It's late and it's cold"

"I'm looking at the sky. Beautiful isn't"

"Hm, beautiful. How long haven't I seen her?"

"really? Then let's enjoy this view together" Akira invited.

"Sure" said Sou smiling.

They then sat on a bench near the inn enjoying the sight together. There was no conversation between them. They were immersed in their thoughts.

"Sou," Akira said.

"Hm?"

"Thank you"

"For what?"

"For everything. You always help me, thank you very much" Akira smiled.

"That's no big deal, I'm sincere in helping you as well" Sou smiled.

"Thank you" said Akira smiling. "Sou, there's something I want to say" Akira said, bowing his head.

"What's that?"

"That's it.." (astaga, Akira's tongue was too faint to say it. So nervous)

"That's what Akira is?" Sou asked confusedly.

"Ah, not so. Not being Sou, forgive me" Akira smiled.

"Suspicious," investigate Sou. "What's wrong? You've made me curious about Akira, say it now" sued Sou.

"Look at Sou,"

"Tell Akira, don't scare me"

"Eh, are you scared? I'm sorry, I didn't mean that Sou" Akira said worriedly.

"No, no. I'm not scared. Say what you want to say" Sou smiled.

"Look, yesterday before coming here, Papa and Brother allowed me to have a relationship with someone" Akira said shyly.

"Suddenly? Why isn't my heart safe like this?" whispered Sou inwardly. "Hm."

"I. when we first met, I thought you were a good and handsome person" murmured Akira who Sou could still hear.

"Eh? Wait, what does this mean? What does it mean-"

"Sorry Sou!" Akira bowed his body.

"Eh?" Sou looked very surprised. "What are you doing? Wake up Akira, what's really going on?"

"Sorry" said Akira, still bowing. (About, you should be able to!) "Sorry Sou, I. I like you!" Akira is still in the same position.

"Sou definitely doesn't want to see me anymore, she must be angry. She must have been disgusted by me. Please God, even though I was rejected, I hope everything is fine" said Akira closed his eyes with the same position.

"About," call Sou.

Akira opened his eyes slowly and then raised his body. Akira looked at Sou who was silent looking at him.

"I guessed it, Sou doesn't seem to like it" Akira whispered inwardly. 

Sou quickly pulled Akira's body and hugged her. Sou closed his eyes and pressed his lips against Akira's. 

"Eh? Wh-what's this?"

Akira who was shocked just fell silent in disbelief at what had happened to him. 

Sou pressed their lips together long enough. Their sighs met each other and Sou slowly opened his eyes.

"Thank you Akira, I love you so much" he said smiling without letting go of his arms from Akira.

"So-Sou.."

"Ah, sorry. You must be surprised and confused" Sou said wrongly when he saw Akira's surprised expression.

Sou's hand then gently stroked Akira's cheek. "Will you be my lover?" He looked into Akira's eyes.

"Akira's heart will explode now" Akira said inwardly bowing his head. "Hm, I want to be your lover" murmured Akira.

Sou then placed both of his hands on Akira's waist and lifted him up.

"S-S! I'm afraid of falling!" Panicked Akira holds Sou's shoulder.

"Thank you Akira, thank you!" Said Sou smiling happily. He then turned around while lifting Akira up.

"S-Sou, Sou danger Sou, will fall" said Akira frightened. He then hugged Sou by the neck and drowned his face in the niche of Sou's neck. "Down me Sou" he asked. 

Looking at the frightened Akira, Sou then hugged Akira and lowered her slowly.

"We're on the ground" he said with a smile.

"Ah, hm" said Akira nervously.

"Sorry Akira, I'm so happy tonight. Thank you for returning my feelings. I love you so much" Sou said with a happy smile.

"I-I also love Sou" Akira said looking into Sou's eyes.

Sou then invited Akira back to sit down. Tonight, Sou looks very happy as well as Akira. They unceasingly carved a sweet smile on each other's lips. 

"I really won't forget today" Sou smiled.

"Me too" said Akira smiling.

"And I was so afraid that you would say that you were betrothed or how. You're giving me Akira's heartache" Sou said.

"Ma-sorry Sou. Eventually I didn't know the right way to say it" Akira said.

"No problem. I'm happy because I feel so relieved. I really love you"

"I love you too" Akira smiled.

Sou then fell silent and looked back into Akira's eyes. 

"What's wrong?"

Without further ado, Sou pulled Akira's chin so that her face was closer to him. For the second time he kissed Akira's lips.

"What did Sou do? Why did he do it again?" Panicking Akira in silence.

"Sorry Akira, I'm really happy now. I will control myself" he said confidently.

"Ah-h i-iya Sou" said Akira again bowing his head. "Why is this Sou? Why would he do it again? Ah, Akira is so ashamed" he whispered inwardly.

"I know it's a very meaningful time but it's been very night, I don't want you to get sick. Go back to your room" Sou smiled. "Your face is red Akira. I've guessed the night breeze is not good for the body" he said again lifting Akira's chin to be able to see his face clearly.

Akira then hits Sou's arm slowly. "It's because of your actions" Akira murmured.

Sou smiled with anxiety. He ruffled Akira's hair. "Sorry, sorry. I love not being able to hold back when you're shy. Forgive me," said Sou lightly laughing. "Let's go back, it's already so cold"

"Alright" Akira smiled.

Sou then extended his hand to Akira. "I'll take you, '" he said smiling.

"Thank you" Akira said, accepting Sou's hand with a smile.

They then returned to the inn while clasping each other's hands.

"Good night Akira, good dream" Sou smiled.

"Good night, too, Sou. Be careful when you return"

"Of course, come in" said Sou slowly releasing his hand at Akira.

"See you" Akira waved his hand and entered the inn. He closed the door and dropped his body on the door.

"What'sthis? Akira's heart is really going to explode" said Akira holding onto his chest which was beating very fast and fast. "But thank God, thank God he didn't get angry or shy away from akira" Akira murmured still in the same position.

"So it was so nervous and scary, Akira's feet couldn't stop shaking" Akira's grunt hid his face on his palm.

"But.. Akira was so happy and happy to be able to tell Sou," Akira muttered smilingly. "It looks like Akira can't sleep until the morning" his monologue then goes to the room.

Other side..

"What'sthis? Akira also likes me as it turns out," said Sou smilingly staring at his own palm.

"B*al! Me, my heart is ready to explode right now. This is my first time. I'm really happy now" Sou's monologue with a smile.

"I really like him, I love him. The problem is with Mom and Dad. Can they understand?" Say Sou again. "I just need to prove that being in a relationship and having a lover won't affect my academic grades. Yeah, I just need to prove it!"

"That can be thought of later, but the most important thing is how do I meet her tomorrow? I'm afraid my heart will really explode later" Sou said confusedly.

"Yes the point is I'm very happy today. Thank God, I just want to be happy with her, with Akira."
