Chapter 39: Brother Shin and Brother Nao

"Sir, there's something I want to talk about" Shinji explained with an indecipherable expression.

"What's? Just tell me, or is this personal?"

"No, brother, I will deliver it now while we are gathering" Shinji said.

"Then just say it now" Naoya said again.

Although Shinji said that, his face turned doubtful. He did not look at Naoya, Akira nor Alya.

"What's up, brother? What's something bad?" Akira asked opening his voice.

"That's. I'm.."

"What's up Shin, don't make us curious" Naoya said.

Shinji then stood up from his seat, he bowed his body respectfully to Naoya which left everyone confused.

"Sister?" Akira asked confusedly.

"Sorry Brother, I have impregnated my lover" said Shinji while still bowing his body.

Like a bolt of lightning in broad daylight, Naoya, Akira and Alya were shocked to the point of being stunned. Their bodies even froze for a few seconds.

"I'm sorry" said Shinji again who disbanded the three men.

"You did? Why do you dare to do it Shin? That's outrageous!"

Naoya slaps Shinji so hard that Shinji's body falls backwards. While those who were slapped were also the other two people who witnessed it getting shocked, unable to do anything but close their mouths.

"You have to take responsibility. Marry her now!" Angry Naoya. He really could not accept the reality he was facing right now. Without waiting for long, he then walked away leaving Shinji, Akira and Alya.

"I can't believe Brother Shin did something this cruel" said Alya who then left there as well.

"Sister, is Brother okay?" Akira asked while helping Shinji stand up.

"It's only natural that you're angry like that. I'm sorry Akira, you must be very disappointed in me"

"Hm. Akira did not expect that Big Brother would do something like this. But true what Kak Nao said, Big Brother must take responsibility. Brother has to marry sister's lover" explained Akira staring at Shinji's heartily. "Wait for Sis, let Akira get the compress first"

Soon, Akira returns with a compress to Shinji.

"What's sick, brother?" Akira asked compressing Shinji's cheeks which looked red.

"About, you know you have to take responsibility but you can't marry her yet" Shinji said.

"Why Brother?"

"She loves her job a lot but her company does not hire married employees. We've talked about this and he still wants to work. I respect her decision so I can't marry her yet. I-I'm not ready either" Shinji said.

"But wouldn't it be better if you were married? Wouldn't it be more trouble if you weren't married?"

"What about the parents of the beloved brother?"

"He no longer has parents. She lives alone in her apartment"

I can't win when arguing with Kak Nao plus Alya is also in the way. But thank goodness my brother allowed it.

Today as well, after so long I can finally see Brother Shin smiling back at me. I don't know why but it feels like I've been forgiven. My sister has been talking to me lately. I can't make him angry again. For Brother Nao the same.

"It's okay. You guys are guilty but I can't let this matter spread and Souma's surname get tarnished by it" Naoya explained.

"Thank you very much Brother" said Yuri again bowed his body respectfully.

I'm glad Brother Shin is smiling again but I feel a little strange with Brother Yuri. Not knowing why, my heart seemed to be unable to accept it. Slightly different as when I first met Alya, my heart had already rejected Kak Yuri even as she stood at the door. Though we were not yet close, even though Kak Yuri did not have anything wrong with me but somehow I thought that I could not like it.

This was very different from the explanation of Big Brother back then. Ah, it seems like Big Brother has explained it correctly, only I hope too high.

Akira felt very guilty. Some of the problems that come in this house are due to Akira and Big Brother's mistake that must be resolved. Though Big Brother did nothing wrong at all but Big Brother was forced to think about and solve every problem in this house just because he was the oldest. Brother must be so exhausted. How does Akira entertain him huh?

"Hm, shall we try first? If not eaten let it be for Akira only" said Akira smiling.

Akira then walked towards the kitchen and rummaged through the contents of the refrigerator and cupboards. He then took some ingredients for her to cook.

Minutes and minutes have changed to hours. After a long time Akira struggled in the kitchen, he was seen stretching his body.

"Finally so too" he said smiling.

"Miss, what did the lady do? Why don't you just call aunty?" Tanya Bi Nanas approached Akira.

"It's okay bi, after all the cake is ready" explained Akira smiling.

"Is there a birthday today?"

"Eh? No, there's no. Akira just wants to make a cake for Big Brother, so that Big Brother becomes more excited. It's been a long time since Akira made a cake for Big Brother" she explained, smiling again.

"Is that so? Miss loves you very much, huh?"

"Hm very very very. Oiya bi, after the chocolate cools down, then aunt will deliver yes and do not tell Akira to make. Akira was afraid that Brother was angry, huh? Please.."

"Well Non, then let aunt deliver"

"Thank you so much bi. Akira went upstairs first" said Akira smiling.

"Miss Akira turns out to be a good boy, but why does he always make his brother angry huh? It was strange" obviously aunt stared at Akira's back which was getting further away.

"Excuse me sir, I brought you a cake for you" said auntie knocking on Naoya's room door.

Naoya fell silent as he saw the sizable chocolate cake in the hands of the pineapple bi.

"I don't remember asking for a cake" Naoya explained confusedly.

"A-ano, it's true sir but b-bibi made this so that you're even more excited about the work" explained the aunt smiling awkwardly.

"What do you do, right?"

"A-ah no, not Sir. I made it, not Non Akira" said aunt panic.

"I don't like lies but it doesn't matter, thank you for the cake" Naoya said, taking the cake from her aunt's hand with a smile.

"Good fun, sir" said the smiling aunt.

"It must be Akira's. It was obvious that he deliberately made a little cat use cream. His habits never change apparently" Naoya explained smilingly.

Come to think of it, when was the last time I ate my favorite cake? Especially by Akira. It feels like a long time ago.

Lately I have rarely spoken to him even I never say hello again. He has disappointed me. But why did he suddenly make me a cake?

He was a sweet and nice boy. My very obedient and innocent sister. My heart said that it was impossible for him to steal but the evidence was already there, it was definitely undeniable. But I felt guilty for slapping him so hard back then.

This is my first time. The first time Akira stole. The first time I felt so disappointed. The first time I scolded and slapped him. Have I done the right thing?

Netra Naoya pays attention to every detail of the cake that Akira has made. Slowly he took the fork and ate it.

Was she crying at the time? I didn't notice it, so I don't know. Does he hate me? I don't know either.

"But this cake is still as it always is, very good" Naoya said staring at the ceiling of his room. Slowly the clear grains slid from his eyes, he cried.

With tears still flowing, Naoya ate the cake voraciously until there was nothing left.

Naoya was sitting on the sofa of the living room, waiting for the arrival of someone.

"About," call Naoya to look at Akira.

Akira looked surprised and slowly approached Naoya with his head bowed.

"Sorry Brother, Akira just wants to make cake for Brother" said Akira slowly. His hands shook, he was very frightened right now.

Do you hate Big Brother so much that you don't see Big Brother's eyes?

Netra Naoya looked sad, his big palm slapping softly on Akira's head.

"Thank you for the cake. But the next time Akira has to give it to herself, don't make auntie bother" Naoya explained smiling then leaving Akira alone.

Akira bit his lower lip, trying hard to keep his stuffing from being heard by everyone in this house. His hands were busy wiping away the tears that were soaking his body.

"Non, Miss, is Miss okay?" Ask aunty worried. "Sorry Non, this is aunt's fault. Sorry Non" said aunt hugging Akira's body.

Akira did not say anything, he just cried in the arms of aunt.

"Is anyone sick? Did you do anything bad again?" Aunty asked increasingly frantically looking at Akira who could only cry and not say anything.

"No bi, Brother did nothing" explained Akira again wiping his tears.

"Then why is Miss crying?"

"Because Akira is very happy. Sorry for making aunt worry."

Bi Nanas seemed confused by Akira's reply. "If it is like that, don't cry anymore. If other people see it let alone Mr. Yuki, later it will be misunderstood" explained aunt stroked Akira's back.

"Hm, aunt is right. Thank you bi" said Akira smiling.

Thank goodness, thank God, Akira is very happy now. Mercifully.
