Chapter 9: Exploring the Extracurricular Club

The next day...

"About, if Akira gets dizzy or feels unwell again just call Big Brother yes, do not force yourself - Yuki stroked Akira's head - Excited yes, later Brother picked him back up" yuki smiled.

"Yes sister, Akira will not force himself anymore" said Akira smiling.

"All right, Brother is home."

"Yes, be careful on the road." 

Yuki smiled. "Bye-bye."

"Bye-bye Brother."

After making sure Yuki leaves, Akira then enters the school.

"About!- Ayano ran over to Akira - You're cured?" Ask Ayano.

Akira nodded. "I'm fine."

"Sorry yes, because of us you became part of a group work and your fever got worse yesterday" said Ayano sadly.

"I pushed myself too much yesterday, but it wasn't Ayano or Sou's fault. I'm the one who forced me to join the group when you banned me, right?" Akira Obviously.

"But.."

"I'm cured now anyway, so it doesn't matter" Akira smiled. "Ah yes, later I want to see the lesson notes yesterday" he continued.

Ayano smiled. "Sure, I'll lend you."

"Thank you" said Akira smiling.

Akira and Ayano then go to class together. There were already many people including Sou who had been sitting sweetly on his stool. He stared at Akira long ago as Akira and Ayano entered the classroom. Their eyes met and then Sou smiled. 

"Good morning" said Sou.

"For Sou" said Ayano smiling.

"Good morning" replied Akira who was also smiling.

Akira and Ayano then walked up and sat on his stool. There were no more conversations between Akira and Sou after.

Rest...

Akira was sitting looking out the window next to him while waiting for Ayano to return from the canteen. Ayano does not allow Akira to accompany her on the grounds that Akira should not be in the crowd, fearing that Akira's head will hurt again if he is in the crowd even though Akira has insisted on explaining that he is fine.

"Thank God you've recovered" said someone from behind Akira who made him a little surprised. Akira then looked to the source of the sound.

"Yes Sou" said Akira smiling.

Sou then walked over and stopped right in front of the open window in front of Akira.

"I'm sorry, but I know you're sick but I allowed you to join the group yesterday" Sou said, staring out the window.

Akira shakes. "No Sou, it's not your fault. I also forced you to allow me, didn't I? Please don't apologize, I feel guilty" Akira said.

Sou then looked inside Akira and smiled.

"Alright I understand, please don't repeat Akira again, because I'm worried about you" Sou said again as he looked at Akira. 

Akira then looked at Sou. He looked stunned to see Sou who was standing while smiling sweetly in front of him. Her handsome face was more clearly exposed to the sun with slightly messy hair in the morning breeze and a soothing sweet smile etched on her handsome face, making Akira unable to turn away from her. He stared inside Sou who was standing before him right now.

(Handsome as. prince) Akira said in his heart.

"about?" Sou asked as he looked at the silent Akira looking at him.

"Ah, yes. I'm sorry that I worried you and thank you for worrying about me" Akira said, staring down at the end of her skirt. (Why did Akira get nervous like this? What should Akira do now?) The mind of Akira is confused. He did not know what to do and he did not dare to look at Sou.

"about?" Ask Sou back. 

"I-iya" Akira answered nervously looking at Sou.

"You are so adorable" Sou smiled.

Hearing Sou's words, Akira then looked down again.

(Is he ashamed?) Said Sou inwardly while smiling anxiously. "Please promise not to repeat it again, Akira" Sou said with his faint smile.

Akira then looked back at Sou. He then nodded. "I promise" Akira smiled.

"What are you talking about?" Ask Ayano suddenly. 

Akira and Sou who were shocked then turned their gazes in the other direction.

"Alright, I'll go back to my bench. See you" said Sou smiling.

"I-iya" Akira replied nervously. Sou then leaves Akira and Ayano.

"What are you guys really talking about? It's very suspicious" said Ayano staring hard at Sou.

"No Ayano, Sou apologized to me for the same reason as you. That's it" explained Akira.

"Eh..really?" Ayano made sure.

"Right Ayano, I'm not lying. What am I doing it for anyway? Now that we eat, I'm hungry" Akira smiled.

"Alright" said Ayano who also smiled.

Unknowingly, Sou was watching Akira from earlier. She smiled when she saw Akira smiling. Sou then shifted his gaze and began to eat his provisions.

Today, lessons only last half a day because of the time available after the break, specifically for the introduction of extracurricular clubs in schools.

"Sorry Akira, I can't go with you. I have to go first because I promised my friend" Ayano said, holding her hands together.

"It doesn't matter Ayano, go first. I can catch up and we'll meet later" Akira smiled.

"I'm sorry Akira, I go first" Ayano said, then left.

Shortly after Ayano left, Sou approached Akira.

"You see the club together?" Ask Sou.

"It doesn't seem like a bad idea. Ayano had also left first with her friend from another class" Akira smiled.

"Come on" Sou smiled.

They then left the class to see the extracurricular club at the school. Each club room is decorated as attractive as possible and of course the club members show their ability to get new members.

"If it's not crowded, it won't be interesting" Sou smiled.

"Sou was right" said Akira who also smiled.

"Are you going to the badminton club?" Ask Sou.

"Looks like. Sou himself wants to enter what club? What basketball?" Ask Akira.

Sou nodded. "Since I first entered this school, I've decided to join a basketball club" Sou smiled. "But since sports clubs are in the gym, we'll look around first all the clubs here, how?" Ask Sou.

The two of them then went around looking at the clubs that were there before they headed to the gymnasium. Many clubs offered Akira and Sou to become their new members, but because they already had their own options they refused.

"You have a handsome face and this big brother is also very pretty. You can be the main character in the drama club, about acting we can learn later. Hows it? Do you want to enter this club?" Ask a drama club member.

"Sorry Brother, we have to go around first to decide. Thank you" Sou said then pulled Akira's hand. Akira only smiled briefly at the club members.

"Geez, that is the twelfth time we have been offered to become a new member" Sou sighed.

"You're counting" said Akira, laughing. Sou then laughed.

"I'm giving up, let's go to gimnas now" Sou asked.

"Come on."

"Hello, do you want to join the photography club?" Ask a student who is believed to be a member of the photography club.

"(After? Oh my.) Sorry brother, we are in a hurry" Sou said.

"Wait!- The student gets in the way of Sou -- I'll take a picture of you two, if the results are good and you're interested, you can join. Let's try it first, shall we?" Said the student.

Sou looked towards Akira who was standing right behind him. His eyebrows shot up as if asking for approval.

"Try it first" said the student again.

"I think 1 is no problem Sou" said Akira hesitated.

"Alright if you say so" said Sou resigned.

The two of them were then directed to a room filled with complete photographic equipment.

"Please stand here" said the member again.

"Wait, are you guys fighting? Come closer, aren't you too stiff? Closer" He said again.

Akira then glanced at Sou. "I'm sorry" said Akira then approached Sou.

"OK good, now smile" said the student again.

"Ah whose guy is not smiling. Smile, look at your sweet smiling partner, are you going to ignore him?" Say again.

Sou sighed. "I guess we're stuck with a troublesome club" whispered Sou.

Akira smiles. "It looks like Sou was right, but smile at Sou, so we can get out of here quickly" said Akira who also whispered.

"Come on" grumbled Sou.

Akira then looked at Sou. He smiled sweetly at Sou which made him speechless again. Sou then looked straight ahead with a smile.

"Good! Goody! Hold it, it's like that" said the student pleased.

The student photographed Sou and Akira several times with a happy face.

"Wait a minute until the picture is yes" he said again. Then he went somewhere.

"Geez, next time we have to reject it huh" said Sou who sat next to Akira.

"Hmm-- Akira nodded --After this we have to go to the sports club, anyway we have to" said Akira spirit.

Sou smiled. "You're right, we have to get there before we get involved with another club again."

"Sorry to wait a long time, look at you guys are indeed a matching couple. I wish you a smooth relationship to the wedding" said the student smiling sincerely.

"Tung-" Akira did not continue his words, he looked at Sou who was also staring at him. Akira quickly threw his gaze down. His face was red with embarrassment.

"That's okay, sister" said Akira smiling.

"Well, this is the best photo of the couple we have. Bring it for mementos from our club. I'm sorry I misunderstood earlier, I'm allowed to keep 1 as documentation" he said while giving the photos to Sou and Akira each one.

Akira and Sou were silent for a moment when they saw the results. They were immersed in their thoughts.

(Sister this could be, but Sou is really handsome) Akira said in his heart. She smiled faintly looking at her photo with Sou.

(I think this big brother is right, Akira is very beautiful) Sou said in his heart staring at Akira in the photo.

"The photo is very good, brother, thank you very much, but it looks like we have to visit another club after that we will decide" Akira smiled.

"True, do not hesitate if you want to enter this club" said the student smiled.

"Sure sister, we'll excuse you" said Akira bowing respectfully followed by Sou.

"It's a pity, when they are very suitable" said the student was staring at the departure of Sou and Akira.

Even after coming out of the photography club, Akira and Sou were still immersed with their respective thoughts.

"The photo is pretty good huh" Sou said opening the conversation.

Akira nodded. "Yes, the picture is good. I'll keep it" Akira smiled.

"I'll keep it too. Rarely can I take pictures with a talented athlete like you" Sou smiled.

Sou smiled. "Now we focus on sports clubs huh."

"Of course, we have to go there now" said Akira spirit. "Come on Sou" he said then ran over.

Arriving at the gymnasium saw many people watching the ongoing basketball game. There was a lot of shouting from the audience who cheered the players.

"Akira has started, come on" Sou said excitedly. He pulls Akira's hand and brings him into the gym.

"Isn't this too front, Sou?" Akira asked because it was true, they sat on the third bench from below.

"It's exactly the best place to watch Akira's match" Sou smiled.

"(Sou looks very excited, very adorable) Okay, we enjoy the game" Akira smiled.

"Yes." Yeah."

They then enjoyed the match without a word. Sou also looks focused and excited at the same time while watching his match.

"What a cool thing" Akira said when he saw his upperclassman doing a jump shoot

Sou smiled. "It's called a jump shoot technique. That technique requires us to jump as high as possible in order to get the ball into the basketball hoop. This technique is quite effective when pressed by an opponent like that Big Brother did.

"Revelation Akira!" Shouted Sou looking at the basketball that was pointing at Akira. Sou catches the basketball with his hand before it lands on Akira's face. The audience also looked surprised and not a few who joined in shouting.

"Are you okay?" Said Sou worried. He crouched down in front of Akira.

"Hey, Akira?" He said again when he saw Akira who was still speechless and surprised.

"Ah, yes. I'm fine, thanks Sou" said Akira.

"I'm fine, sister, no need to worry" Akira smiled, although he was still surprised. 

"Chairman, the Chairman should be even more careful. This is the ball" said Sou gave the ball to the player who turned out to be the Chairman of basketball at Junior High Sou.

"Yes Sou, forgive our members. I promise this will not happen again, sorry yes" said the Chairman again.

"It's okay, brother, I'm not hurt" Akira said again.

"Alright then, excuse me" said the Chairman back down because the match was still going on. 

"Well Brother" said Akira smiling while Sou still put on his cold face.

"Sou, what's wrong? Do not put on such a scary face" said Akira who made Sou re-conscious.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Ask Sou again.

"I'm sure Sou, just still a little surprised. Was Sou hurt from catching the ball?" Ask Akira.

"No, I wasn't hurt one bit. Thank goodness no one was hurt" Sou smiled. "Let's go" he said again.

"But the match is not finished yet Sou" said Akira confused.

"It's okay, it's not safe here Akira, we'll see other clubs yes" Sou assured Akira.

"But Sou likes basketball, right? We'll see until the game is finished Sou, then we see another club" explained Akira.

"But this is Akira's danger, what if it repeats itself?" Said Sou worried.

"No need to worry Sou, Big Brother had promised not to let such a thing happen again, right? Sou would still want to watch the game anyway, right?" Akira.

"It's okay, Sou, I'm sure it won't happen again. Let's finish watching, shall we?" Persuade Akira.

They then moved on to the fifth bench from the bottom and they watched the game through to the finish. The audience seemed to be enjoying the match very much including Sou and Akira. They then came out in an orderly manner when the match was over.

"I'll teach you later" Sou smiled.

"really? I'll wait for him" Akira said with a smile.

"Sou wait a minute! Come here" Shouted the Chief below.

"Come, come with me for a moment" asked Sou who was taken in by Akira.

"What's the Chairman?" Asked Sou while in front of the Chairman.

"I just want to apologize for the incident" he told Sou and Akira. "Quick apologize" said the Chairman to one of its members.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know the ball was pointing at you earlier. Please forgive me" said the member, bowing.

"Please lift your head, brother. I'm fine, I'm not hurt in the slightest, so is Sou. It doesn't matter Brother, you don't have to apologize" Akira said in a panic.

"Thank you very much" the member said with a smile. But he looked down again when he got a sharp look from Sou.

"You're really okay, aren't you?" Ask Chairman.

"I'm fine Brother" said Akira.

"Already Sou, your lover is fine and not hurt, do not give a look that intimidates my members like that" said the Chairman embracing Sou.

Akira and Sou were shocked to hear the Chairman's statement.

"Wait for the Chairman, what did the Chairman say?" Sou asked in panic while Akira lowered his head.

"What did I say?" The chairman was confused.

"Sorry Brother, we are not lovers, we are just friends" Akira smiled.

"really? Wait, come here Sou" said the Chairman pulled Sou back which was quite a distance from Akira and the club members. The two of them just stared confusedly at the Chairman's behavior on Sou.

(What's wrong with that brother?) Akira said in his heart.

"I thought you were Sou's lover" said the member.

"No, sister, I'm not her lover" Akira said.

"When you guys fit in perfectly - He smiles - But, Sou is a pretty horrible person huh, seen from the look in his eyes if he is angry" he said again.

"You're serious he's not your girlfriend?" Ask the Chairman not to believe.

Sou nodded. "I'm serious Chairman" said Sou turning his eyes.

"It's not what the Chairman is, the Chairman is the second person who thinks we are like that" Sou smiled.

"All right, you guys are a good fit. I was just quite surprised, it turned out that an Ice Prince could be angry as well for worrying about a girl" the Chairman said with a slight laugh.

"Shut up Chairman" Sou said annoyedly.

They then returned to Akira.

"Excuse me" said Akira bowing respectfully. Sou and Akira then turn to the closed field to see the badminton club.

"It's worth it that you guys look familiar" Akira smiled.

"Even so, the Chairman is a person who irritates Akira, do not be fooled by his sweet attitude" said Sou.

They then sat on the sidelines to see the introduction of the badminton club. Akira looked excited, he noticed the badminton club training with sparkling eyes.

"Will anyone try?" Ask the club chairman.

Akira quickly raised his hand. "Can I try it?" Ask Akira.

"Of course, come here" said the club chairman again.

"The spirit of Akira" Sou said.

"Thank you Sou" said Akira who then entered the field.

"Your service and smash are so good, what if we play 1 set?" Ask Chairman.

"Is it no problem, brother?" Ask Akira doubtfully.

"How all, may I and Akira play 1 set?" Ask the Chairman to everyone in the closed field.

Unexpectedly, they strongly agreed to see the Chairman play with Akira who was basically a new student at the school. On mutual decision, then Akira play 1 set with the Chairman of the club.

After a while, Akira won the match which left everyone amazed and distrustful of the match they had just seen.

"You're great Akira, want to enter this club?" Ask Chairman.

"Yes, brother, let me join this club" Akira smiled.

"Sure" said the smiling Chairman.

"Thank you very much Brother."

Akira then returned to his seat and the introduction of the club was then resumed.

"You're so great Akira, you're really an at-"

"Sou, can you keep it a secret?" Akira's words cut off Sou's conversation.

"Why? Why should it be kept secret?" Sou asked confusedly.

"I'm afraid there will be discrimination if they know the truth" Akira said.

"Well, I'll keep it a secret" Sou smiled.

They then refocused with the introduction of the badminton club until its completion.

"I'm tired, but it's so much fun" Akira smiled.

"You're right, it's exhausting but also very fun" Sou agreed.

"Thank you for Sou today, I'm so happy" Akira smiled.

"Together Akira, thank you too" Sou smiled.

The two of them then walked back to the classroom while talking about the things they had gone through today.

In class…

"Why did you just come? I'm lonely here" Ayano pursed her lips.

"Are you not with your friend? Why get lonely here?" Akira asked confusedly.

"It's true that I was with them but we're done from now on. Why are you taking so long?" Ayano said again.

"Sorry, a lot of things happened" Akira said smiling awkwardly.

"Alright, let's go home together" Ayano asked.

"Yes, wait a minute" said Akira then tidy up his things.

"Come on Ayano, I'm done" said Akira, who was adopted by Ayano.

"Sou want to come home with us again? Just until the front but" said Ayano smiling.

"May" said Sou who also smiled. The three of them then walked together until the gate.

"Sister!!" Call Akira.

"Why so long? I am tired of waiting" Yuki said.

"Sister's been here? I'm sorry, Akira was too excited to see the extracurricular club at school" explained Akira.

Yuki smiled. "It's okay, Brother understands. Sou and Ayano want me to drop off?" Ask Yuki.

"No, sister, Ayano will go home alone. Thank you" Ayano smiled.

"I will also go home alone, Brother, thank you for the offer" Sou smiled.

"All right then. Be careful on the road" Yuki said.

"Be careful in the way of friends" said Akira smiling.

"I'm going home first Brother, Akira, Ayano" said Sou.

"Yes be careful, see you tomorrow" Akira smiled.

"Bye-bye" murmured Sou who could still be heard by Akira.

Akira smiles. "Bye -bye Sou."

"Ayano also said he would go home first, Akira" said Ayano.

"Be careful, see you tomorrow" Akira said.

"Be careful" Yuki smiled.

After Sou and Ayano return home, Akira and Yuki also come home.

"Sister today Akira roams all the extracurricular clubs in school" said Akira.

"Is Akira happy?" Tanya Yuki smiled happily seeing her sister excited like this.

Akira nodded. "Very happy, brother. Akira saw the badminton club and was invited to play 1 set by the club chairman, then Akira won it, great right?" Akira smiled happily.

"Great Brother Sister this one" said Yuki stroked Akira's head.

"Basketball clubs are also very cool, photography, drawing and calligraphy clubs are also very fun. The music club too" explained Akira smiling.

"Thank God that Akira is happy, but Akira doesn't push himself anymore, right?" Ask Yuki.
