210: An Explanation
“Sbrother San how are you?” Ju Yan asked with a wide smile. “I'm fine Yan Gege .. When did you arrive in Qingzen City?” Zhu San asked back after answering Ju Yan's question.
“Me and Yu’er just arrived yesterday afternoon. What is the situation in Qingxian City? I guess we're getting a win, aren't we. Because you have returned to the capital.”
Zhu San nodded, as he was about to explain the war situation, Emperor Shi Hung and Empress Qiang Ji came over to the two together with Bian Chi and Qin Yu.
After asking each other the news with Qin Yu, the six of them finally entered a room and started a conversation that left Zhu San shocked to hear.
“I and the Empress have agreed to hand over the throne of the Qing Empire to its rightful successor. I hope you don't resist the wishes of your aging Uncle and Aunt Yan’er.”Emperor Shi Hung stared affectionately at Ju Yan.
Ju Yan who had no ambition for the Imperial Throne looked puzzled to respond to the situation. He tried to argue that he was too young to be an Emperor.
But the subsequent explanation from Emperor Shi Hung, made Zhu Yan unflappable and finally agreed to the wishes of his uncle and aunt.
Emperor Shi Hung and Qiang Ji looked delighted, both of them sighing deeply, as if they had just slipped out of a heavy burden. He asked Zhu San about the war situation in Qingxian city.
Zhu San then recounted the battle in Qingxian city as well as the situation he was in. They fell silent and felt grateful that Zhu San could still survive.
Zhu San also explained his goal of returning faster than the others. He will leave for the Forest of Spirit as soon as possible because he does not want to make his helper wait too long.
“Well Give our thanks to the Grandpa. Today also I will gather all Ministers and Nobles in Qingzen City about the planned appointment of Yan’er as Emperor in a few more days.” Emperor Shi Hung finally concluded their conversation.
Zhu San and Bian Chi said goodbye to both of his parents. While bidding farewell to Ju Yan and Qin Yu, Zhu San had teased the two of them.
“Yu’er quickly give us a handsome or beautiful nephew yes .. Agar Chi’er also want to mem.. Aduuh!” Zhu San's words were interrupted. It was because of a pinch from Bian Chi on his waist.
Zhu San then immediately said goodbye to go to the Spirit Forest. While Bian Chi continued to nag Zhu San who seemed to be blaming herself about those who had not had children to date.
Zhu San just kept quiet, pretending not to hear Bian Chi who kept nagging through their telepathy. It happened while both of them were floating in the air towards the Spirit Forest which was in the territory of the Wei Empire.
When it was dusk, the two arrived at the edge of the Spirit Forest. Had Zhu San not met the Grandfather directly, perhaps Zhu San would not have entered the forest that had such a gripping aura.
“San Gege .. Where is Grandpa?” Bian Chi asked who said while clutching Zhu San's arm quite tightly. After all, there was a sense of horror when he felt such a gripping aura.
“Keep moving into the middle of the Forest, when you find the odd thing stop and go down.” A loud voice sounded without being seen who was speaking.
“Good Cake.” Zhu San replied and immediately hugged Bian Chi's frightened-looking waist. After hovering for two minutes above the forest, Zhu San and Bian Chi were stunned by what they saw.
“How can there be a small rainbow beam on that cliff? Though there is no rain and heat today.” Ask Bian Chi. “Stop it, Let's get down.” right away Zhu San replied.
“Thank you for coming to meet my request.” The two gasped as they could not feel the sudden arrival of the white-robed Grandfather who had been behind the two of them.
Zhu San and Bian Chi immediately saluted the white-robed grandfather. Zhu San introduced Bian Chi to the Grandfather and asked the Grandfather's name.
“Bian Chi yes .. Nice name. Well, it's time you guys found out my name and something else I've been keeping secret for a long time. My name is Long Niu. I do not come from the world in which you were born. My world is different dimensions to your world.”
The grandfather named Long Niu said that made Zhu San and Bian Chi's forehead wrinkle. The two of them did not understand what Grandpa Long meant.
“Different world? A different dimension? We don't understand it at all Kek.” Zhu San said as he scratched his head which suddenly felt itchy.
Long Niu chuckled at Zhu San's face and manner. Then He began to explain who he was and where He came from and also why he was in this place.
“A hundred years ago, I tried an artifact that was made by a weapons expert in our world. I've always wanted to adventure, try that artifact.” Long Niu silently swallowed his saliva.
He also explained that when activating the Artifacts that are made to move places in the dimension of space and time in his world, he explained, He finds himself drawn into a white passageway and suddenly appears on top of the cliff.
It was then that he realized that he was thrown into a different world. And He only knew that there was another world besides the one in which He had been.
“Just the difference between your world and my world is too far away. The air here is too little pure energy. And this world of yours looks very peaceful compared to our world.” Clearly Long Niu was further.
“But the problem is not there, I tried to return to my world but I failed to activate that Dimensional Artifact.” Said Long Niu While pointing in the direction where the small rainbow Rays were.
“Then why did Grandpa need both of our blood? And why didn't grandfather take the Artifact to learn how to activate it?” Ask Zhu San.
Long Niu smiled before explaining that the Artifact, embedded partially into the rocks on the cliff. He could have pulled out the artifact. But if the Artifact is damaged, then forever He will not be able to return to his original world.
He had been in this forest for a hundred years, and only occasionally came out of the forest after making a protective formation so that no one would dare to pass through the forest even from the air.
“A year ago I finally remembered that my best friend had shed blood on that Dimensional Artifact. When I tried to drip my blood, nothing happened.” Long Niu's face looked grim after saying so.
He continued his explanation, that maybe because he was not special like his best friend, his blood did not work on the artifact.
His friend had a body with a Yang-type Spirit Root. For this reason, He seeks out people who have bodies with the same spirit root.
When He saw Bian Chi and Zhu San in a tavern some time ago, He felt that they had the special body He was looking for. That was the reason why he had been trailing Zhu San all this time.
