The first hearing went well. Leon accompanied Vania who from the beginning looked very calm. Although several times Vania was seen rubbing the corner of her eyes while looking at her mother. Vania felt so guilty that her mother had to see herself handcuffed, before the officers opened her handcuffs and invited her to sit.

The mama tried to arouse the spirit of Vania through a calm smile and gaze that can only be felt by the woman whose fate is now unclear. Before the trial began his mother had whispered slowly in his ear,”mama always believed in you dear. Mama sure you're not the killer. Now is the time to prove in court to make Aileen proud and believe her mother is not a murderer.”

Vania nodded her head many times as she rubbed the roar of tears continuously melting down her cheeks. After gaining strength from her mother the woman again sighed, calming down. He took a tissue and rubbed his eyes until the tears were gone. He did not want to look weak at the trial. If that day there was a murderer Johan in the room, then whoever he was should not be happy about his suffering. Vania is only determined to prove her innocence. 

The Public Prosecutor Service continued to provide questions that cornered Vania.

“There were only the two of you that night. Why do you leave the victim just like that, even though you already have an appointment far away. From your description, the victim has even prepared everything for your meeting, but suddenly at the time of meeting you leave it. Isn't this not a coincidence? Can you explain why you suddenly left it until the victim was killed?” ask prosecutor. 

“As I have explained in BAP, that that night I received a call from Barli who invited me to meet outside. I think I have to solve the problem with Barli first just back to Mr. Johan.”

“So do you think Brother Barli is more important than Mr Johan? Are you Johan or Barli's girlfriend?” ask Prosecutor. “Doubt, Your Majesty!” sergeant Leon immediately defended his client. “Please do not pry about the suspect's personal relationship with the victim or witness.” 

“Can't be so! This fact has a correlation because this suspect has tricked the victim and his child. He took advantage of the ways of approach to the victim and his son, things like this must be made clear in order to be considered judge.” 

“Defence denied,” says Judge pisses Leon off. Meanwhile Barli looked agitated. Liana smiled happily, as well as Revan who immediately smiled a smile.

Trial after trial faced Vania with the same attitude. The woman held up her chin trying to show the world that she was not the murderer of Johan Baroto. Vania continued to smile at the reporters who had swarmed her after the trial.  Despite the questions from the Prosecutor as well as from the side of the lawyer Liana and Revan hired continued to corner her, but Vania was unmoved. 

“Newly this time I saw the murder suspect look very tough and calm. Vania, you do keep a mystery, it's worth it if Johan Baroto and Barli are crazy about you. All your body gestures are sexy,” muttered Marlo Brando while covering the trial.

The trial went very hard, Vania was tired of everything she barely had the strength to fight. When the congregation had entered its final period the woman was desperate and no longer showed her courage. 

“They keep courting me with the same questions over and over again. Although I've tried to explain a thousand times that I wasn't involved in the murder. Leon I'm tired,” said Vania.

The woman closed her eyes she was really tired of facing all the trials that continued to drain her emotions and energy.

“Live another step. You have to convince the judge a little more, just keep telling the truth. You're innocent, Vania. And they should know it.”

“They still need the tumbar to blame, right?” Vibrantly Vania replied. 

“They keep cornering me Leon. Even defending yourself is hard. I'm really pessimistic about the outcome of this trial.” This time Vania said softly. 

Leon strengthens Vania. The woman was really at her lowest point. Vania thought as she went into custody that she was entering the darkest part of her life. But as she follows the grueling trial process, Vania concludes that being in custody is precisely the best time. 

The woman gradually felt calm within with all her limitations. She could now feel more introspection now that God was forging her into a stronger woman. The trial was only camouflage because really all he needed was solitude despite being flipped in a room measuring 3x3 meters, crowded with other prisoners. That was when Vania actually felt a real calm. 

“Can I talk to Vania?” Suddenly they were surprised by a voice. The approaching Barli made Vania and Leon aghast

Vania who had no spirit just turned a glance to Barli. 

“I'm not in the mood to receive guests, Barli. You better come back another time,” he said while looking straight ahead. He did not want to meet anyone but his lawyer and family. 

“I want to say something.” Leon who saw the seriousness of Barli immediately gave a code to Vania to speak.

“You should also stay here,” prevent Barli when Leon is about to leave the room. 

“Is it true that Aileen is very ill and is now in treatment?”

Vania gasped at the barley question from where the man could tell that Aileen was currently undergoing treatment. Vania had never said anything to this man before her. He kept all his own suffering including Aileen's disease. Even to Avan, he only said it because he was worried that Avan invited Aileen to do things that could make her body more vulnerable.

Your son is very pale and I recognized him and then I approached them. That's where your mom told me about Aileen's condition, who was seriously ill and undergoing treatment. Barli was more and more eager to see the look of despair in Vania's face. No more naughty babbles, lustful temptations, or spoiled whimpers from women who once shared a bed with him.  In front of her is now just a fragile woman who must face serious charges of murder that she did not commit.

All this time he thought that Vania was only after Johan Baroto's treasure, but Barli had been thinking about this for days. He knew very well that his papi would not be that easy to transfer ownership of property to people he did not trust.

Johan Baroto is not an impressionable type of person. Although Vania is beautiful, young, intelligent and alluring, her papi is more intelligent. If Johan Baroto turns out to appoint Vania to manage the business and its assets, surely his papa has considered everything carefully. That's what makes Barli finally have to be frank with Leon.
