There was no way Colin could compete with Henry's parents, so after pondering for a moment, he smiled bitterly and replied, "Master Law, what else can I do but listen when you've made it so clear?"
Henry's expression finally brightened as he laughed out loud. "So dong. Come on, Mr. Walter, let's have a drink. For tonight, don't be in a hurry to get back, okay? Let me make preparations."
Colin immediately raised his glass and replied, "Other times, Mr. Law. I'll treat you next time. The problem now is to make a stand, right? So I have to go back and make preparations beforehand. Besides, I'm not the only employee in the office."
Henry understood and nodded. "certain. I love your attitude towards work, Mr. Walter."
After a full meal, Jasper and Henry drove Colin away.
"Mr Laine, Mr. Law, there's no need to take me any further. I'm going to get in the car now" Colin told the two.
Jasper smiled and reached out to shake Colin's hand. "There's something else I'd like to discuss with you, Mr. Walter."
After dinner, Colin could see that Jasper was someone Henry held in high esteem.
Even if that wasn't the case, Jasper wasn't someone he could hurt given his previous prestige in the Southeastern Province.
So, Colin replied politely, "Please, lord Laine. I'm listening."
"It's for you too, Mr. Walter," Jasper smiled and spoke, "If I'm right, Conrad must have contacted you over the past few days, right?"
Colin smiled bitterly.
To be honest, Colin would definitely choose Conrad if it was a choice between him and Jasper. Henry's existence and his grip on the family of his only daughter is all he has to admit.
"Indeed. But don't worry, Mr. Laine. I will definitely not contact him again in the future," Colin promised.
Jasper shook his head instead and replied meaningfully, "Actually, all I want to say is please agree to whatever request Conrad asks of you, Mr. Walter."
"The Monty family is very prominent in the Southeastern Province and I'm worried about your position if you end up offending him."
Hearing Jasper, Colin was dumbfounded.
To be honest, if possible, Colin was very open to the idea of not taking on a dangerous role as general manager of a mining company. Being a simple head at some other company is a much better option.

Jasper smile. "You're a smart man, Mr. Colin. I'm sure you understand what I'm trying to say. Two days, the longest. Two more days and this will all be over. I promise to return the favor once all this is done, Mr. Walter."
Colin looked at Jasper with a deep look. Prior to this, the reason why he had agreed to side with Jasper in the Skyward Aluminum incident was because he was afraid of Henry's threat.
However, Colin now truly believed that the so-called genius from the Southeastern Province who appeared once every half century might actually be defeated by Jasper.
No matter what happened, Colin still had to decide. Of course, he would stand by Jasper's side because the odds were in his favor.
Colin clenched his jaws and spoke, "I know what to do, lord Laine."
Jasper smiled as he opened the car door for Colin who thanked him by bowing before getting into the car.
Seeing Colin's car disappearing in the distance, Henry suddenly sighed.
"What's wrong?" Ask Jasper.
"Suckers! Seriously, if it wasn't for the fact that it would get in the way of your plan, I really hope he said no. The number of people taking risks disrespecting me is now dwindling. What a bunch of cowards."
Henry did not seem to realize how arrogant and obnoxious his words were.
Then, Henry turned to ask Jasper, "You said that you'll finish it in two days. Meanin?"
Jasper smile. "Why? Are you interested in this too?"
Henry sneered, saying, "My father has actually told me many times before that the most important thing I have to learn from you is not how to make money but how to fight people."
"That's more important than making money. My family is rich, I don't even need to work and it's still impossible for me to spend all our money. There was no need for me to make more money, but this was a different story to fighting people. I want to be the number one young master in Harbor City. Do you have any idea how cool that would make me?"
Jasper hummed without any commitment to Henry's overwhelming ambition. As he walked to his car, he said, "I've bought 15% of Skyward Aluminium shares. Conrad has been fighting me the whole time and he's buying 5% more."
"Now that I have the support of the Southeast Province Mining Co., Ltd., 30% of them will be mine. That leaves 45% in my hands and Conrad."
Hearing that, Jasper opened the door and glanced back at the brightly lit restaurant. Bending his head, he got into the car and continued calmly, "Therefore, the fight for another 5% stake tomorrow will be the most important fight of all. But Conrad doesn't know that."
"Conrad's lack of knowledge of it would be enough to make him lose."
