Victory in Life
Chapter 669

A strange expression formed on Jasper's face after he heard his words.

No matter how he interpreted his words, it still sounded very misleading.

However, Jasper did not spend too much time pondering over it as he quickly signed his name on the contract. After that, he took out a check worth 10 million US dollars and handed it to Sylphie.

"Thank you for your help, Miss Lang. This deal wouldn't have been possible without you" Jasper said sincerely.

Without looking at the check, Sylphie handed the folder containing the patent documents to Jasper. "It's okay, I just did a little help for Anna," she said with a cheerful smile.

"How do you know Anna?"

"It was just a coincidence" Jasper said as he explained to Sylphie about how he got to know Anna.

"You're brave enough. Back then, Anna's father must have not noticed you. How dare you boast in front of him?" Sylphie said, a little interest in her voice.

"There's nothing fundamentally different about the two of us. First, we are both human. Second, we are both entrepreneurs. He is undoubtedly a prominent businessman whereas I can only be considered a small businessman, however, this does not mean that I cannot find something he needs."

"In fact, we're both working together happily now. We both take what we need, and we benefit from each other's cooperation" Jasper said with a smile.

Sylphie nodded in understanding. "You're different from the others. You bring yourself full of confidence, and this gives you the kind of charisma that no ordinary person can find" he said.

"Is that a compliment?" ask Jasper.

"Of course," Sylphie said with a faint smile.

Jasper said goodbye to Sylphie after chatting with her for about half an hour. It was almost time for them to go home from work.

Sylphie also did not ask him to stay. He only saw her leave after they exchanged their contact numbers.

After Jasper left, Sylphie pulled out her phone and called.

"Anna Law, I met your boyfriend today."

"I know you can't resist. How's she? He's not bad, is he?" Anna's voice was heard from the other end of the phone.

Leaning comfortably on the chair, Sylphie casually played with a check in her hand. He suddenly laughed after seeing the intricate graffiti of Jasper's signature in check.

"Why are you laughing?" asked Anna curiously.

"It's okay. I just thought of something interesting."

Anna immediately became vigilant. "I liked it first, so don't take it away from me. I have a headache now" he said.

"Oh, is high and mighty Miss Law afraid that someone will steal her lover? Don't worry, I'm not interested in men or women. I just want to focus on my career."

After leaving the Sentel Corporation, Jasper went to meet Damond Golding once again. He then obtained a certificate of authorization for patent enhancement under Damond's devious gaze.

Although there were some obstacles, everything finally ended smoothly.

Jasper knew that it was time to return to Somerland as he held two patent documents in his hands.

His trip to Coreana was a total success.

"How's it going today, Jack?"

Looking at the dark expression on Jack's face, Jasper knew that things must not go smoothly.

However, Jasper also did not expect him to solve everything on the first try. Buying a game is different from buying a patent, as it involves more moving parts. This was also the reason why Jasper allocated this task to Jack.

Looking ahead, Sena's main focus is online gaming. Therefore, Jack should start dabbling in the industry as soon as possible.

Jack let out a tired hum in response. He then took a deep breath. "After these Coreana people found out that I was from Somerland, they acted very haughtily. They have no sincere intention to talk business with me. In addition to offering colossal prices, they also put forward a number of heavy requirements" he exclaimed.

"I told them they were not sincere. Guess what they told me in response?"

"They told me that Somerland was a poor and backward country. Entrepreneurs from Somerland are mostly fraudsters, and we can't even afford to buy their games."

Jack pulled the tie wrapped around his collar furiously. "These Coreana people are really crazy" he said.

Jasper laughed as he patted Jack on the shoulder. "That's normal. Many people from abroad still consider us as a backward and undeveloped country. Their impression of us will gradually change over time" he said.

"People will only look at you with respect once you grow stronger. Discrimination like this will change in the future."

Jack continued to complain in disgust, "I never even experienced such obvious discrimination during my time at Weresoft. What should we do now, Mr Laine? Should I go there again tomorrow?"

"You should go there again," said Jasper, nodding his head with determination.

"The more they look down on us, the more we must be determined to achieve our goals. With regards to their harsh requirements, agree to them if they are not too unreasonable. One day, they'll realize how powerful we are."

Jack nodded and said, "Alright, I'll approach them again tomorrow. However, today was also not entirely in vain. At the very least, they seemed to have the intention to sell the game. They just found a suitable buyer."

"If you manage to buy a game, don't forget the agency rights because the agency rights are still in their hands. This means we will be subject to their control regarding the production of future game version updates. Most importantly, they will definitely try to compete with us for that once they witness a huge profit in Somerland.

"Therefore, be sure to buy this game in its entirety. This is an important task, and it must be handled properly. I can only give it to you."

"Don't worry, Mr. Laine. I will definitely complete this task," Jack reiterated solemnly in response to hearing Jasper's trust in him.

"good. I'll be back in Somerland tomorrow. Stay here and sort this out, and come back after the deal's done" Jasper said.

Jasper's top priority at the moment is to complete the MP3 production line, and then start production and sales in Somerland.

After handing over all remaining duties to Jack, Jasper flew back to Somerland the following afternoon.

While Jasper boarded the plane, Jonathan Lang walked out of the company unhappily.

Half an hour earlier, he had received a notice from the company. He has been removed from his position as branch president, and will be transferred to another company as sales manager.

The drastic decline in his career caused his hatred of Jasper to grow even stronger.

As soon as Jonathan got into the car and left the company, he received a call from one of his close associates.

"Boss, I learned that Jasper Laine had boarded a plane back to Somerland. I also found all the information about his company there. Should I send it to you later?"

Jonathan's expression became brighter after receiving the news. "Send me. Heh, does she think that I won't be able to do anything to her after she returns to Somerland? There are a lot of people in that country who want to get on my good side. I can end him by conspiring with the people there!"
