67. The Goddess

Simon clasped his wife's hand to the big room in Zayn's house.

" Laura you're data.ehhh" Zayn who was so Enthusiastic greeted them with a happy voice loud enough that his steps and lips came to a halt when he saw Laura's finger placed in front of his lips with both of his nether eyes glancing at Alesha who was sleeping with frowzy.

" Wahhh the gelud whiz is sleeping, bring it here," Zayn directs Laura to the bed she prepared if at any time her cousins or friends come to bring a small child, he's a guy who likes kids just like Laura.

" Stay here, just" said Zayn, who was taken by Laura.

The girl laid Alesha down softly and gently, rubbed her adorable face and kissed her forehead warmly, "good evening dear," she whispered as she put up the little blanket Gretta gave her.

Seeing the innocent face of Alesha who had not met her mother since she was born even rejected by her father made Laura's little heart shake. He knew what it was like to live a lonely life without parents, but he was determined that the little boy did not feel the same way as himself.

" Pity him, that small but bitter taste,"

Simon hugged his wife's shoulder and rubbed her gently, "don't put on a sad face, let's let her rest, she's exhausted" Simon said.

Laura simply nodded and followed her husband's words.

Laura, Simon and the others walk in Zayn's direction. Gretta lives there. He could not bear to let the little girl there alone even if it was close to the gathering room.

Gretta took a chair and sat down next to Alesha leaning back and looked at the little girl with a faint smile on her lips, making sure Alesha wasn't alone there.

Diego glanced at Gretta, a thin smile drawn on the face of the handsome and masculine man.

" Father strange girl," muttered Diego who also took a chair and sat on the other side of Alesha while leaning back and closing her eyes was about to fall asleep .

" Mister why, join me there so that I take care of Lecha" Gretta said in a whisper.

" Hoaaaammm don't want to, just shut up, I'm also sleepy I want a shock first, don't be disturbed or I'll be angry!" dip Diego while laying his body on the rocking chair then closed his eyes and pretended to be asleep.

Gretta just shakes her shoulders, not understanding the strange nature of the man.

Meanwhile, Laura and Simon, accompanied by Zayn, approach the main family who are already sitting at the super-long dinner table, and they chat while laughing at each other.

"Wahh Zayn's family is so crowded!!" laura exclaimed as she patted the man on the back.

Zayn chuckled," hmm. We are indeed crowded!!' said the man.

Simon only witnessed their closeness before he actually told the truth about the family.

"Everyone, Simon and Laura are here, we can have dinner!!" exciting Zayn .

The whole family turned towards their arrival. The elderly Mr. Waltz stared from the seats in the front row of Laura and Simon.

The man immediately framed Laura's figure in his view. He was struck with an unpredictable expression.

Mr. Kennedy and Mrs Felicia are the same. They were stunned to see Laura's beautiful face which clearly reminded them of the figure who had died two years ago.

" See..Who is this young lady!??" Mr. Waltz stood up with his wand and looked at Laura with teary eyes.

Laura who saw the old face looking at him thus felt strange with him. The figure that was already wrinkled made Laura feel safe when she looked at him and was calm when she heard his voice.

" Who is this grandfather?" Laura thought as she tilted her head.

"Grandfather, this is Laura Simon's wife," Simon introduces his wife to Mr. Waltz.

" Your wife, son? has he? it's so pretty, "praise Mr. Waltz with a gentle smile.

Laura returned her smile as she greeted the old man's hand with great respect.

" Hello grandfather, nice to meet with grandfather," said Laura .

Mr. Waltz astonished the rest of his family. He was a difficult man to approach, a man who was picky even his subordinates were difficult to short him, but to Laura he could accept it quickly and was filled with smiles

"Who is this girl? what the hell happened to me? why am I like this when I see him??" inner mistress Felicia.

No doubt Mr. Kennedy felt the same way. He trembled, and his heart trembled violently, as if the old connection had been severed reconnected.

"Wahhh hello sister Laura, meet I am Ro...Se....." the centile girl directly approached them and clasped Laura's hand tightly.

The sweet and pretty smile on her face made Laura speechless.

" Swipe over there, you little girl, you're scaring her!!" Zayn pushed Rose's head with his index finger.

"Hi Rose, nice to meet you," said Laura with a sweet smile on her face.

Rose's stunned. Her expression was exactly the same as Dani who first saw Laura's beauty. Even women were amazed by the beautiful face of the girl.

" Well, before we talk we should eat first, my stomach is hungry, grandfather must also be hungry!!" Zayn.

The whole family agrees. Eventually they all joined the dining room, sat down together and had a quiet dinner.

It seems like the table manner everyone in this room is eating with focus without any topic of conversation to be able to taste the delicious food made by Sadrakh.

The man himself sat on the very end of the chair, without caring about his own daughter.

Diego came from the room next door and took food for himself.

" Why not join my son?" asked Mrs Felicia, "Hendry hasn't come yet" the woman said. As she spoke both of Laura's eyes kept glancing at her.

"Look Auntie, there is a father who abandoned his daughter, me and the Goddess again take care of the sleeping baby Lecha, his father can not be expected, sorry, everything became unpleasant" said Diego.

They clearly knew who it was, that stupid and bad-tempered man who was silent with a flat face while enjoying his food without caring about his little daughter.

Diego brings food for himself and Gretta, they are forced to eat there while waiting for Alesha to wake up. She would cry if she woke up in a foreign place.

Meanwhile Laura was enjoying her meal with the attentive Simon beside her.

The girl constantly looked at Mr. Kennedy and Mrs Felicia, she was curious and wanted to keep staring at them.

"Why baby?" ask Simon.

Laura turned around and looked at her husband, "I'm fine" she replied lying.

Simon just nodded in understanding, he clearly knew and realized that Laura must be feeling something in her heart right now.

" A little while longer, wait for Hendry to arrive," Simon's mind.

"Who are they? why do I feel such a strange thing, it feels like there's a fireworks burst here" Laura said as she rubbed her chest.
