I think I fainted. Again. I thought my condition was better than before, it was the same. How long will my condition be like this? I want to go back.
Realizing that I had regained consciousness, I tried to pause for a moment in this soft bed before opening my eyes to face life. This mattress is comfortable, in contrast to the mattress that usually welcomes my consciousness back in the kingdom there. I felt so comfortable that my body was very relaxed to the bones. If I keep quiet here, I might fall back asleep.
Preparing to open my eyes, I took a breath and counted the cues. It became my habit when I felt doubt about the path I was going through. Okay, we're starting.
I opened my eyelids slowly, although it was a bit difficult at first, I would still open my eyes to let the light in. How long have I been asleep? Like longer than usual. New record?
The first thing I saw when I managed to open my eyelids was a wooden ceiling, some of which were almost rotten, but probably not going to be a problem for the next few years. Satisfied with the ceiling I shifted my gaze to the side to pay more attention to my surroundings.
I was in a room, this room was bigger than the doctor's room. This room reminds me of the look of a room I haven't seen in a long time. The mattress I was in was in the middle of, flanked by two small tables with a glass of water on one of the tables. In front of the bed are two chairs facing each other. Next to the window are cabinets and shelves that may be used to store something. Around here too I can see the equipment in the form of rags, buckets, and some drugs.
If I pay more attention to myself, part of my body is covered by a warm blanket. What am I supposed to do now. I tried to talk a little but it felt like my throat was hoarse. If so, I'll wake up and look outside and thank you.
I gave my body to rise from the bed, but only in a sitting position was the sound of footsteps that were getting more and more clear. Someone is stepping here. Did he realize that I was conscious? Who her?
I sat down and waited for him to come here. The sound of footsteps drew closer and the owner of the voice appeared through the door in the left corner of the room. He's the liar.
The one who came here was the one who had lied to Milin. He looked at me and didn't seem surprised. He immediately stepped in and spoke to me.
"Oh, you're awake. How's your condition?" ask her while stepping into the room.
It's appropriate to answer someone else's question, but my mouth feels very closed.
He came closer to me, like he didn't seem to have a problem when I didn't answer his question. He took a chair and took it to the side of the bed where I was and sat there. He looked at me, as if he were watching all the dots. Then he put his hand closer to me. What will he do?! With my destiny I can only close my eyes.
Slowly a sense of touch emerged from somewhere, it was on my forehead. I opened my eyes to see what he was doing. He touched my forehead using the back of his hand.
"It seems to be getting better, good."
If I feel it myself, it is true that my body temperature has improved.
"Chloe, have a drink first" he said, giving her a glass of water.
Ah, ja... Chloe that's my name now.
Because my throat was a bit hoarse I drank the water he gave me, hoping I would be easier to talk in the future.
After he found out that I was aware, why didn't he tell the others? Are they going to come here too? I tried to find the answer by looking out the door.
"Are you asking about the others?"
Hearing the liar's question, I could only look at him in shock and wonder because he could read my mind. Is she a witch? Liar witch!
"They're all going to the doctor. We actually took care of you before, but it seems that one full day your condition has not improved. That's why, Noland, Milin, and Grandma were going to the doctor. But it doesn't seem necessary anymore" he explained.
All day long they took care of me. As long as I'm unconscious, they take care of me? Did that really happen? I doubt it because the one who said it was the lying witch.
"Chloe, has this condition of yours happened to you over and over again?" tanyakanya.
My condition gets worse day by day, and it sucks.
I answered him with a nod of my head.
"Huh so... Do you know what caused it?" tanyanya.
I've seen the doctor many times in the kingdom, but the doctor never said anything to me.
I shook my head and tried to answer it with my mouth.
"I don't know" the little voice made it out of my mouth.
Hearing my answer, the lying witch fell silent and seemed to be pondering over something. Why does he like to look?
If what he said was true, that there was only me and him here, then this is my chance to ask against his previous attitude towards Milin.
"Em, you..." Ah I forgot her real name, where I might call her a Liar Witch.
"Hm?? My name is Arthur Gunther, just call as you please. What was? Do you need any help?" his answer.
"Why are you lying?" my many.
I finally said it.
"liying?" said confusion.
Did he not realize what he had done?
"... to Milin," I said.
Pondered for a moment and it seemed he got what I meant.
"Oh, who was the other day? Lied about your identity?" tanyanya.
I nodded in confirmation.
"Are you not happy because I hid your true identity to Milin? Well... I as a newcomer here could have told him everything, but I didn't do it for his own good. He admires the kingdom, so if he finds out your current condition comes from the kingdom, he might turn to hate the kingdom."
So, for GOOD?! what is good?!
"What if he knows the truth?" ask again.
"It's okay, your identity will definitely be revealed someday as well, and at that time Milin will definitely understand as well. So let time do its job."
"CAN'T!"
"Eh? Um... Are you as good as you are?" he said while amazed.
"There's nothing good about lying! And if the lie is exposed, your relationship will no longer be the same!"
Ah... I got everything out.
The lying witch seemed to be amazed by my response. I haven't spoken out like that in a long time, she must have been shocked.
She was surprised by a little bit of a surprise?
There was a pause in our conversation, maybe he was very confused at the moment.
Moments later he wanted to say something but a loud voice came from outside the room. The voice sounded like something was hitting the door.
The lying Witch beside me who was about to say something turned her attention to the source of the voice.
He just said that and immediately rushed out of the room.
What the hell is going on?!
Feeling that my condition had improved I got up from the bed and headed to the door, looking at what was happening.
Arriving at the door, I did not show myself, but rather I peeked out from a distance.
The lying witch walked forward to the source of the voice and at the source of the voice were two people, a man and a woman.
"Em, hello Madam and Mister. What's going on?" ask the Witch of Liar.
Hearing that voice, the two people were startled and immediately looked to the Lying Witch.
"Who are you?!" ask one of the men in a high tone.
"I'm the big brother of Milin, I just came here" replied the Liar Witch.
He lied again. He clearly said that he was a newcomer.
How many sins did he commit?
"Sister of Milin? I didn't expect him, he had an older brother" the man responded.
"Well, that's how. Then it was my turn to ask, who are you two? Isn't there already a 'close' sign ahead of there."
"Huh! my wife and I are the largest and most advanced lodgings in the city. You should treat you with more courtesy!"
"Okay, Mr and Mrs. What do you guys need to come here?"
"We want to collect the debt!" said the woman next to the man in a slightly arrogant manner.
"Debit?" ask the Witch of Liar.
"Yes... Debts. Your grandmother owed us money to defend this dilapidated inn" explained the woman by vilifying the inn.
"You shouldn't call this inn a dilapidated one" replied the Liar Witch.
"Shut up! My likes! Quickly pay off your debts!"
"Sorry, Mr and Mrs. The funds we have are still few."
"That's right! It's true that this inn is dilapidated!"
"Mr and Madam. We are behind this little arrival of guests and not even there," explained the Lying Witch explaining the conditions of the inn.
Hearing the words of the Lying Witch the two men immediately laughed loosely.
"Haha! It worked, baby!"
"Our efforts are not in vain!"
"meaning?" said the Witch Liar.
"Haha! the two of us and our other plotters spread an ugly image to this inn of yours! Uh! Shit release."
"So, the reason we're a little accepting guests is because of you?"
"Easy, Yeah! Therefore, quickly pay your debt and we'll stop doing it."
"But, Mistress... As I recall, this inn was financed by the government."
"Geeh! You're..."
So, they lied too? liars meet liars.
"And no debt collector broke the door until it was that broken" he said.
"Damn asshole! Die!"
"Kill him! don't let this be known!"
LUSTY! IT'S WICKED!
The big man threw a quick punch towards the Liar Witch with his right hand.
He would accept his karma now for lying.
I dare not look back at the door in fear.
A loud voice sounded as a result of the impact of something. But there was no sound of a body falling. What the hell's going on?
I peeked back from the door hesitantly not daring.
There the Lying Witch clenched a fist aimed at him with her right hand. I could clearly see the shocked gaze of the woman next to him when I saw what was happening.
"So right, you are looters" said the Liar Witch.
"SILENCE!!"
The man continued to try to hit the man in front of him with his left hand. The Liar Witch took off the man's right hand and replaced the blow with her left. A loud voice appeared again. Without a second thought, the Lying Witch retaliated by kicking her leg. Suddenly the man put his right hand on his stomach fortunately deflected it. But alas, that's not the target of the Witch Liar. He kicked the man's right leg forward, making the balance of the man waver. He instantly twisted his body, held the man's left arm and directly slammed him forward.
A loud bang came from the incident.
"WOO!" the man's screams of pain from falling on a hard pedestal.
"HUH! TOLLON"
Unable to shout, the mouth of the woman was closed by the Lying Witch by pushing her against the wall and locking her hands behind her.
"I'm sorry for the ludicrousness of the Madam, but from now on, let's talk elegantly" said the Liar Witch.
"He... You're..." A faint sound came out from the mouth of the man lying on the floor.
"Oh yes sir, before your consciousness is gone, remember these words of mine. Tell your gang that I, Arthur. From now on, we will stay in this city. Therefore, I won't let you act like her!"
Receiving those words, it appeared that the man had already lost his consciousness on the floor. He was defeated by the Liar Witch.
He may be a liar, but he's a cool liar.
