Lita watched Hayler exit the room and closed the door gently. He sat on the bed, started texting Rodney. He deliberately kept Rodney's number under a pseudonym so it wouldn't be discovered.

Yuki finished her remaining work while shaking her head. "No. Did something happen to her?"

"She was dating someone after the twins' previous birthday. But not knowing what happened, he was a little dazed lately."

Nobu is worried about Mirain. Usually Mirain is always cheerful although a bit quiet. But this time his attitude was a bit wrong. Mirain had also rarely contacted him lately.

Yuki was silent for a moment. "Then we just go to his house and ask him something. I have time this afternoon."

"Have you had any problems lately? Don't hesitate to tell me," Yuki said.

"none. I'm really just not feeling well." Mirain shook her head, still resolute in her reasoning.

Nobu is his closest friend. Of course you know that's just an excuse. He becomes angry when Mirain tries to keep him hidden.

"You really don't believe us, do you?! Mirain, how long have we been friends? It's been years that even Yuki we've had children! You still have your own problems!"

Unexpectedly, Mirain immediately cried on the bed. He could not stand it anymore and hugged Nobu, continuing to repeat the same sentence. What's he supposed to do now? He has no courage.

The Mirain family was also wealthy. Her parents are good too. Definitely not going to reject Brim for the first time.
