CHAPTER 9

Vivi came out of the bathroom and went up to the bed. He looked at Reynan who was still staring blankly at the ceiling of his room. "Can I sleep here?" tanyakanya.

Reynan did not answer. He only glanced at Vivi for a moment, then threw his gaze away from Vivi again.

"The first night to sleep with Rey." Vivi chuckled, but Reynan did not care about it at all. Finally he took a roll and hugged her while staring at Reynan from the side. He could see the deep wounds of Reynan's face. He will definitely try to make Reynan smile and forget about Lena. Then he closed both his eyes.

Reynan wasn't asleep either. His mind drifted far away. Previously she was very happy to be married to Lena but the accident took everything away. He is also very disappointed with Lena who turns out to be unable to accept his condition and chooses to leave. After the hope Lena gave him was so great, it turned out that it was all just fake.

Suddenly Vivi's finger wiped Reynan's tears. Reynan turned his head and looked at Vivi who had not slept.

"I know, the ordeal that Rey's sister is facing right now is very heavy. Rey, don't give up. Rey has to get through this. There'll be a rainbow after the storm hits." Vivi put away the bolster that was blocking her, then she brought herself closer and hugged Reynan's stomach.

Reynan was going to get rid of the hand, but he was stopped because Vivi closed her eyes again and fell asleep. He looked at that beautiful face. Never thought of her, she would marry Vivi, the little girl who invited her to marry while Vivi was still wearing her SD uniform.

Reynan looked back at the ceiling of his room until he fell into a deep sleep.

When the new sun shone, Vivi had already opened the window curtain. He had also prepared warm milk for Reynan even though Reynan was still sound asleep.

"Sister Rey." Vivi presses Reynan's nose and goes down her face so that Reynan wakes up quickly.

Reynan just brushed off Vivi's hand.

"Sir Rey, let's get up. We go for a walk, the morning air is great for health."

Reynan opened his eyes and looked at Vivi. "You forgot I couldn't walk."

"Gosh, that means Rey's sister just sat down. I pushed it."

Reynan didn't answer. He closed his eyes because he usually did not wake up.

"Sir Rey, let's get up! We inhale cold air while thin-thin therapy."

Reynan did not wake up. Finally Vivi climbed Reynan's body and sat under Reynan's stomach.

"Gee!!" Reynan opened his eyes wide.

"O, o, it turns out that the one who wakes up is not the one. But that's it."

"Vivi's down!" Reynan pulled Vivi's arm down from it. Does Vivi not understand if in the morning it was clear first wake up than the person. "Never act like it!"

"Yes, I didn't intentionally. Pardon us. Isn't it sick?" vivi asked innocently, though in her heart was pounding. It turns out that even though Reynan's legs are paralyzed, his important organs are not paralyzed. Suddenly Vivi laughed to herself.

"What are you shadowing?" ask Reynan. He sat down and grabbed his wheelchair.

"No shadow of anything." Vivi tried to hold back her laughter and gave Reynan a glass of warm milk. "Diminum, it's still warm."

"Well, if you think of nothing. Remember, our marriage is just a status," Reynan said, sipping a glass of milk.

"Yes, I understand. I'm just running away." Then Vivi grabbed Reynan's body and helped him move into a wheelchair. "But until later it's just status?"

"Yes, after a few months if you really want to leave me, you have the right to ask for a divorce." Then Reynan runs his wheelchair into the bathroom without thinking about Vivi's feelings.

Then Vivi walked over to the bathroom door. He listened to Reynan's voice from outside. Just keep an eye out for Reynan to do it himself.

"Vivi, call Noval!" reynan shouted from the bathroom. "Vivi!"

There was a falling sound, as Vivi walked into the bathroom and saw Reynan fall from her wheelchair with her pants wet.

"Hurry up and call Noval!"

"What does Rey want? Just like me."

Reynan just clenched his hand. He can't do anything by himself. She also did not want Vivi to take care of her and become Vivi's burden. His face was already flushed withstanding his frustration.

"Yes, sister, I'll call Noval." Finally Vivi came out of the bathroom while shrinking the tears that were condensing at the end of her eyes.

"Sir Noval, please Rey," Vivi said after meeting Noval in the kitchen.

"Yes." Yeah." Noval quickly walked over and entered Reynan's room.

Vivi is standing in front of the dishwasher. Both of his eyes were hot. No matter how hard he tried to toughen up but when he saw Reynan who was desperate like that, he seemed to have no heart.

"Vivi why?" rani asked while patting Vivi on the shoulder.

"It's okay, Ma." Vivi tried to hide her sadness. "Can I help you cook?"

Rani grabs Vivi's cheek and removes the remaining drop of tears. "Why crying? Rey didn't do you well?"

Vivi shook her head. "Not about that. I feel sorry for Rey. Is Rey's sister any chance of recovery?"

"Doctors cannot be sure either. While doing therapy, Rey also has no spirit."

"I'll try to get Rey's spirit up again. Yeah, although it's hard because Rey's sister's like a refrigerator." The sadness that had approached has now disappeared. That's how Vivi, her feelings can change quickly. "Sir Rey is copying who the hell?"

"Her father. The paper used to be like a refrigerator."

"Well, deserved." Vivi now helps Rani cook in the kitchen.

"Can you cook?"

"It can be a little."

"Raina's still out at this hour. Mama's daughter might change if she's married."

Then the two of them cooked while chatting and occasionally chuckled. "Lucky Rey married you."

"Indeed, if Rey's sister is married to Lena's not lucky, Ma?" Again plain questions arise from Vivi's thin lips.

Rani smiled at the question. "It's not. Yeah, well, the evidence is that Lena just left Rey. Though previously he said himself if he could accept Rey's condition. Rey's been hoping, but it's all pseudo."

Vivi just nodded slowly. Actually that's what he expected, but not with Reynan's current condition.
