"Daughter Sophia, wait a minute!" peter shouted in an anxious tone.
Peter stepped quickly closer to Sophia who was about to board the horse carriage towards the Northern castle. His breathing was breathless, it was seen that he had just traveled a considerable distance to catch up to Sophia.
Sophia asked the coachman to stop for a moment and then she turned to hear someone calling her her face reflecting between worry and despair. "Peter, why are you here? I have to go."
Peter tried to calm himself down for a moment before spouting out various questions. "What's going on? Where are you going? Sophia please explain it to me!"
Panicking as she did not realize she had mentioned Sophia intimately, her heart was racing.
Sophia smiled faintly for a moment."Finally you called me by name directly."he looked at Peter with eyes full of anxiety. "I was exiled to the Northern castle, Peter, I don't know why either, but Dad ordered me to leave." Sophia.
Peter was surprised to hear the news. "What's? Wh why? This is not fair!"
Sophia nodded, trying to hold back the tears that wanted to melt. "I don't know. But I have to go."
Peter grabbed Sophia's hand tightly. "I'll find out the truth, Sophia. Don't worry, I'll always be there for you."
Sophia smiled weakly, feeling the warmth of support from her best friend. "Thank you, Peter. I believe you."
The two of them stared at each other warmly and meaningfully, then Sophia again stepped towards the carriage.
From this Peter realized that this girl was already needed very unfairly, this must be because of the new Queen, but he did not expect the King would take a decision like this.
The last few months he did not live in the palace so automatically he was not on the side of the princess, he struggled to learn with his father who was a defense general of Fullmoon Kingdom. Today when she returned she was very surprised to hear Sophia leave.
After Sophia's departure, Peter unhesitatingly rushes towards the residence of General Liam, his father, hoping to find an answer that fills his turbulent heart.
In the harsh command room and full of strategic maps, General Liam was busy with military planning. Peter entered the room at a rapid pace.
"What are you looking for, Peter?" Ask the General firmly.
"Daughter Sophia is gone, Dad. He was exiled to Velen Castle in the North. We have to do something, Dad! I have to help him." Peter said to gebu.
General Liam raised his eyebrows, he realized the decision that King Erick had taken was something that could not be avoided. However, he also realizes that Peter, who has been with Sophia since childhood, must go through a difficult time.
"This is the King's decision, Peter. We can't interfere. Focus on your duties and responsibilities." Obviously the General tried to be indifferent and refocused on his busyness.
However, Peter, who felt injustice was crawling the decision, could not allow his own friend to face an unjust fate.
"It's not fair, Dad, Sophia doesn't deserve to be exiled like a criminal. We have to do something." Peter said again.
He looked at his son fixedly."Peter, this is palace business. We cannot break the laws and regulations that have been applied. There is a time to fight and a time to wait." He said with a heart.
Peter knew that the words of his father were right, they could not do anything temporarily. His heart and mind kept on imagining Sophia in the Northern Castle. Will he defy the rule of the powerful palace, or will he be patient waiting for the right time? Various decisions raged in his heart.
General Liam, the man who had always been firm and adhered to military discipline, honestly felt the worrisome change since Lady Evelyn's presence in the palace. The serenity that once ruled every corner of the corridor and the palace rooms is now replaced by friction invisible to the lay eye.
Inside the command room, the place where the war strategy planning was strictly executed, General Liam pondered. His hard face showed deep thought, and his eyes reflected unspoken worry. Along with the presence of Lady Evelyn, a number of deeply held rules and traditions in the palace began to erode.
"When Lady Evelyn came, slowly but surely, the situation in this palace began to shift. The rules that had been the foundation, changed over time." he grunted inwardly.
At first, some may not take it seriously. However, quickly, the impact of the small upheaval that Lady Evelyn created began to be felt in every aspect of life in the palace. Parts of the military rules and protocols were altered or weakened, creating chaos and confusion among the soldiers and palace officials.
In the stillness of the enveloping night, General Liam questions the future of this kingdom. What will happen next with the changes taking place and how will it affect the stability that has been painstakingly built up?
...----------------...
The doors of Velen Castle opened heavily, producing a clatter that created echoes in the night silence room. Sophia stepped in, her steps heard on the cold and ancient stone floor. Sophia's heart was pounding, not only because of the awesomeness of this castle, but also because this was the first time she had entered the outside world of the palace that had once been her home.
Sophia looked at the towering ancient buildings around her. His footsteps rang out in the dark corridor, while the night sky illuminated the gray stone walls of Velen Castle. The old trees in the garden looked like mute guards welcoming him.
"Don't worry, Princess Sophia. The king himself ordered you here. I'm sure you'll be treated well." Edward said softly.
Sophia looked at Edward, looking for reassurance in the man's eyes. "Why did you do this?"He asked, because Sophia had not received a definite answer, even when she left she did not meet her father just yet.
"The king was convinced that this was the best decision for everyone's safety. Trust me, Princess Sophia. You're not alone." Edward replied convincingly.
In the silence that was only cut off by the whirring of the wind, Sophia felt her world was now different. The palace he was so familiar with had become a memory, and Velen Castle was now his new world, a world filled with unexplored secrets and darkness.
In the simple lantern she carried, Sophia explored the rooms filled with the shadows of the past. Ancient paintings and worn out furniture form a story on a mute wall. There was no sound other than his steps that continued to move forward, challenging a new destiny.
"Let's Sophia, you can do it." she kept convincing herself.
