100 - Chaos III

At night, in a large open space. The white Eagle imperial army was already preparing to fight against the fire Phoenix imperial army. However, not all the troops from the White Eagle empire were deployed. Because some of the troops guard the White Eagle empire. Only a few troops participated in the war.

Some people seem scared. Because they already knew that the Phoenix imperial army was burning twice as much as them. So that victory must have been in the hands of the fire Phoenix empire. So, they would only die in the war without winning. That's what the soldiers of this white Eagle empire thought.

Three General men stood beside a middle-aged man. That man was the Emperor who led the white Eagle empire. He could not help but think that his friend who was the Emperor of the Fire Phoenix empire would fight against him. He himself did not know what the cause of the war was. But for sure, he cannot lose. Because in the White Eagle empire many people who rely on him and his troops who will fight.

Although it is expected that the enemy troops will come tomorrow, all the troops are ready. They are currently sitting on the ground. Everyone feels that this is the end of their lives. Although they will die without victory, they will fight rather than flee the battlefield like cowards.

The emperor watched his troops. He could see the look of despair and there was no zeal in the man. Seeing this, the Emperor said firmly, "Even if we are outnumbered by the fire Phoenix imperial army, it should not scare us. We are stronger, stronger than the fire phoenix imperial army!

Hearing the Emperor's words, made all the soldiers start to stand up. "I won't let my family get hurt. Therefore, I will fight with all my might to win this war" said one soldier firmly.

"I will fight for the safety of all the people in the white Eagle empire!"

"I will not let my family suffer. I'm enough to suffer and die!"

"I will fight for all my family in the White Eagle Empire!"

Shouts of spirit began to sound. That made the Emperor smile. Finally he managed to make his troops excited. This can make their strength stronger.

When everyone was cheering to cheer the troops, suddenly a light appeared on the surface of the ground. When the light began to dim, many people who arrived suddenly appeared above the halo.

All the troops looked towards the light because the place where the event happened was in plain sight. The Emperor and the three Generals also looked in the direction where the troops were staring at a spot. Because the troops stopped talking earlier which made the four of them curious about what the troops saw.

When the light was dim and now the place was only lit by torches and moonlight, it appeared that hundreds of people lined up neatly. The thing that shocked the imperial army, including the Emperor and the three Generals was the clothes that the stranger was wearing. They wear white robes with a mixture of blue and yellow. Then, the white fox mask they were wearing. The traits were the same as a group they heard. Members of that group have the same characteristics as what hundreds of these people wear.

"What's that.. The group that society says?" that's what everyone thinks.

The news of the shadow mask group had indeed spread throughout this eastern continent. So it was no wonder that the White Eagle empire knew the rumors about them and was shocked when it saw the arrival of these members.

One of the people who looked like the leader of the army immediately walked towards the Emperor. Hundreds of others just stayed in place. They were not ordered to move.

The person walking towards the Emperor had the same appearance as hundreds of others. He was Lao Tzu, the leader of the attacking division.

The three Generals who were near the Emperor looked on alert. Although they have heard about rumors circulating about this group that are said to be good, but they still have to be vigilant.

Lao Tzu, as always. He will just act cold. The tone is also always like that which can sometimes make others upset. But that is the nature of this young man. "You don't have to be that wary of us. Because we are on your side.

"Is it like that? If what you say is true, then we must not kill them" the Emperor said.

Tao Tzu nodded, "That's the information we got from the headquarters."

"Heh, just tell me you don't want the white Eagle empire to win against the fire Phoenix empire. And so, you say something like this. In order that there would be no casualties at all on the imperial army of the Phoenix flames" said one of the Generals. He looked sharply at Lao Tzu and intimidation.

However, it had no effect on Lao Tzu at all. "You better shut up. Don't accuse us of anything no-no. Because we.. Could've wiped you all out."

"Heh, don't be arrogant. Defying your group is famous, but you won't be able to bully us. We will remain at war with the fire Phoenix empire and finish off the enemy forces" the general said.

Lao Tzu has disappeared. Within seconds, he reappeared at the same spot. But this time, his hand raised one's neck even his feet barely retraced to the ground.

Seeing that, everyone was shocked. Except, the members of the attacking division. They already knew that Lao Tzu would do just that to the General who continued to accuse them. However, this is not done because of anger or anything. However, this was done because the General was an enemy who entered the White Eagle imperial army.

"What do you want to do to one of the imperial generals of the White Eagle?!" the Emperor said angrily. The two Generals who were beside the Emperor immediately put up a horse to shake. Even other teams do the same. They pulled their weapons and prepared to attack.

"Do you want to defend this traitor? He was an enemy disguised as a comrade," Lao Tzu glanced at the imperial army.

All the imperial people became astonished by what Lao Tzu said. They are seen to lower their vigilance when they hear Lao Tzu's words.

Lao Tzu looked back at the General he was clutching at his neck. Several times the General wanted to break away. However, it cannot. "Say, where's your other friend? Where's leader? I know, you have something to do with all the mess that's going on."

"A-i.. It won't.. Suffered it.. To you!"

Lao Tzu gripped the traitor General's neck more tightly, "Say! If not, I'll break your neck."

"Ba-good.. Alrighty.. I'm gonna say it. Ta-but don't.. Kill me."

"Depending on how you're going to tell us the information or not," Lao Tzu loosened his strangulation from the traitor General's neck.

"Actually me.. Only served for.. Make.. You and the empire.. White eagles fight.. My master.. Already know that.. You guys are coming.. As a help here.. So i'm.. Assigned to get you into a fight.. I wasn't.. The core part of the plan.. My lord... Meanwhile, another member.. From the group that my master made is in.. Aarrkkhh!"

Fire began to appear on some of the traitor's body. Seeing this, Lao Tzu threw him and made the traitor roll on the ground because of the heat of the fire that burned his body.

"What happened?!", shocked the Emperor, the two Generals and the imperial troops. They looked at the traitor.

Shortly thereafter, the traitor died with a charred body. The fire was extinguished when the traitor had breathed his last.

Lao Tzu and the other members of the attacking division had expected something like this to happen. So, they weren't surprised at all. After all, the enemy group must have put up loyalty seals or other seals to ensure their members were not betrayed.
