WHAT AN INTERESTING SCENARIO

            “Is there still no interesting movie script for you??” Okta asked Deon a question after things started to improve. Because of the earthquake and the damage it caused, Deon and Okta agreed to postpone his schedule and jump on the road to help the earthquake victims.

            “There are some that interest me. I can take it, it's just that I still have doubts. Because the roles offered are mostly the roles I have played and that I think is less challenging.” Deon gave his assessment.

            “What movie do you want to play? Action, horror, thriller or maybe romance?? Have you not played the romance genre for a long time?” Okta recalls the first award that made Deon famous by playing a romance movie.

            “Actually I want to play that genre again? Can I take that genre again?” Deon asked Okta.

            “Why not??” Okta smiled. “As the lead actor in this agency and having brought this agency into a big agency, you have the right to vote. However, you are already an experienced actor who can judge your own abilities, Deon!”

            “Kalo so .. can you find that genre for me? Honestly, for the last two years, playing action and thriller films has made me a little tired.”

            “Kalo gitu .. “ Okta got up from his seat, walked to his desk and picked up some manuscripts he had filtered very carefully. Okta gave the script to Deon. “I've guessed you might feel tired because these two years continue to play movies in the same genre. I've screened it very carefully and these are some of the movies with romance genre. It's just that .. Some of them remain overgrown with other genres such as action and horror. You choose well.”

            Deon carefully selected the manuscripts that had been filtered by Okta.  There are five main genres of romance. The first script tells about the love of High School which later separated due to tragedy. The second script tells the story of love separated by death. The third script is a love story that was separated for several years before finally meeting again. The fourth script is the love story of a man to a woman. But because of his family problems the man separated from the woman he loved and instead met the twin woman. The man then mistakenly recognized his lover's twin because of their similar faces.

            It's pretty good. The fourth script caught Deon's attention. It's just that in Deon's eyes as an actor, the script is still not good enough.

            The fifth and final script is a script about a man who falls in love with a woman he should not have loved. The woman had a future husband and was bound by a destiny that the woman would not be able to get out of the village where she lived. The name of the main male character in the script is Akmana and the name of the main female character is Madaharsa.

            This is!! Recognizing a script similar to the names of people in his dreams, Deon looked back at the title of the script: Long Journey to You and the name of the author listed on the cover: Madaharsa.

            “This thing??” Deon asked Okta with curious eyes.  “Who is the original author's name?”

            “I don't know. The author uses a pen name and all the data he sends is data from his representative.”

            “Vice???” Deon repeated the word.

            “Ya.” Okta nodded her head. “But seeing his representative speak in a foreign language, I think the author might be a stranger. Wh why?? Are you interested in the script??”

            “I'll take on this role. Akmana, I want to play that role.”

            Prok, prok! Okta patted Deon on the shoulder with a satisfied face. “You picked a good script. I also agree that it is a good script. Interesting story. Unfortunately .... The final part of the manuscript is still in the works. You want to wait??”

            “Tak problems. What about the director and his crew? Casting when?” Deon was impatient.

            “Let's just relax, I've got the schedule. Later I will ask Niel to arrange it for you.”

            “You really picked up this script, Deon?” niel asked in shock.

            “Why? I can't take it??” Deon glanced sharply at Niel. “Okta said the script was good and I will definitely be able to play it.”

            “Times your ability problem, I have no doubt. It's just that after a long time, you finally want to take the script of this genre again. I just feel a little surprised.” Niel explained what was in his mind.

            “I just want to change the mood. After all the things that happened lately, I think I need to change the atmosphere including work.”

            “That's a great idea. Casting for the script will be next week. How about the fourth script, are you also going to pick it up?” Niel asked while making a schedule for Deon.

            “Good. It's a great start. Seeing you focus like this, I'm sure you'll win the award again next year because of this movie.”

            A week passed quickly. The day that Deon was waiting for came. Casting was held and sure enough, Deon easily got the role thanks to his dreams. Deon's deepening of Akmana's character successfully led the director and the person casting him to become immersed in the role of Akmana.

            The endless praise came to Deon. From the director to the crew who will work with Deon.

            “Deon.” Before leaving the casting room, the director called Deon.

            “Ya, Sir.”

            “Can I ask one question?” ask director.

            “Sure. What do you want to ask?”

            Glupes. Deon swallowed his saliva as he was impatient with the question that would be asked by the director Bima who was already famous for success with all his projects. A pride for Deon can work with directors who are already in their 60s and still active in the world of film.

            “Why are you interested in this script? Though this scriptwriter is not a famous scriptwriter in this country, considering you are a top actor in this country.”

            Deon thought the question of what the famous director would ask was a simple one. Um. Deon smiled before answering the question. “Just like Dad, I just love the story. One more because this script is still in the completion stage, I am curious about the end.”

            “In the future, maybe we can work together often, Actor Deon. Our thinking is the same.”

            Deon smiled at the answer. “It is an honor for me if you feel happy working with me. I'll look forward to it.”

            Her night.

            As usual Deon, who had made an agreement with Algiz, met on the roof of Deon's apartment building and spent two hours together.

            “Today the song you played is a carefree song. Does anything make you happy?” Algiz asked Deon.

            “Ya.” Deon nodded his head. “I got the job I was waiting for this week, Rae!”

            “Good news about it.”

            “Yes. Next month maybe I won't have time to meet you.” Deon spoke while hoping to see Algiz's reaction to their meeting that might not happen often.

            “Tak problems. Even if you don't come, I'll always be here like before. So when you want to meet me, I will always be here.”

            Behind his black mask, Deon smiled. Deon stared at Algiz silently and hoped that the black mask attached to his face and the face of Algiz disappeared. Deon was eager to know how Algiz would react at this time. What is a smile, what is a blush, what is shame or maybe just a flat face, Deon wants to know every reaction on the face of Algiz. Unfortunately due to Algiz's employment status, Deon can only guess the look on Algiz's face from the look in his eyes.
