Clara worked for Setya Company for a week. He was getting used to his work and a myriad of orders sir Hendra. He also begins to get to know and befriend several employees, one of whom is Tomi, just as a friend no more.

Every day, Clara had to cook lunch for her boss and they would have lunch in the kitchen together, just like today.

"Sir, today we have to go to building X at two in the afternoon. We get a tender invitation for the construction of the bridge, the length is about 1 km" Clara said, making Hendra's sir choke.

Clara immediately gave water to Mr. Hendra.

"Take-tender?"

"Yes sir. We have to get it because the income is quite large" Sahut Clara makes Pak Hendra look panicked.

"What's up, sir?" Ask Clara who feels strange with the behavior of Mr. Hendra.

"That's okay. I'm out for a second" After leaving the room, Mr. Hendra immediately called someone.

"Hello sir. Mr. Tomi please help me. Today there is an important tender that the bosses must attend. Mr. Tom, I don't know about the tender. Please help me sir" said Mr. Hendra pleading.

"Well! A tender? I didn't know the boss had to attend today's tender" said Mr Tomi frantically. There was a sound of him rummaging through documents.

"Oh sir. Tender documents to slip. Gini aja, Hendra sir wait for me there. Later I'll talk to Clara" Tomi turns off her phone and goes to the CEO's office. It was seen that Mr. Hendra was waiting for him in a panic.

"Sir Tomi, shouldn't the boss handle it?" Advice from Hendra.

"It's not time, sir, after all, sir, the boss is out of town. We also still have to test the ability of the new secretary so as not to disappoint the boss again" Tomi entered the room followed by Mr. Hendra behind him.

"Clara" Call Tomi.

"Yes sir"

"Sir Hendra could not attend the tender because his stomach hurt"

"But Mr. Hendra looks fine" Clara said staring at Mr. Hendra.

Tomi immediately gave the code by stepping on Hendra's feet.

"Clara, you can take care of this tender. Take it easy, I'll keep you company. But I can't help much because I don't understand the tender" Tomi said.

Clara nodded after hearing him. For some reason every time he meets a client or there is an important meeting, Mr. Hendra always has a thousand reasons not to go and instead has him handle it himself.

At two o'clock in the afternoon Clara and Tomi arrive at building X. Company leaders have gathered to get the tender. Only the CEO of Setya Company who was absent made the other company leaders sneer at him.

One by one start the presentation until it comes to Clara's turn. He is nervous, but Tomi says everything will be fine.

Clara did a good presentation and got applause from the bidders. The design of the bridge is also very interesting. The presentation is stunning and clear, especially Setya Company is a company that is famous for making organizers decide they are the ones who win the tender. Until one of them raised his hand and asked a question that made everyone speechless.

"Setya Company is not a quality company and can be trusted in the construction field. The proof of the construction of a bridge several years ago that collapsed and took lives. Working with his company will only bring great losses. So are you guys sure you're gonna be working with Setya Company?"

All the tenders began to talk about the events of a few years ago and began to doubt Setya Company. It made Tomi worried, especially Clara who was just silent from earlier.

"This incident happened a few years ago. It's true that it happened because of our carelessness. We admit it and apologize. But, it's not one hundred percent our fault. The material we used had been swapped out by someone of poor quality to make the bridge collapse a few days after it was built. We already know who did it and we've taken care of it" Clara opened her voice. He took a breath to continue his words.

"No one is perfect, every company has its faults. But, don't just because that one mistake makes you not believe it anymore. The company will definitely learn from its mistakes and will work better. Sir, has not your company also committed construction errors to the point of causing fatalities? And after that incident, you improve the quality and performance of your company until it becomes better. Our company does that too. If the error becomes an assessment here, then you will also not get the tender because of the mistakes of your company in the past. Same with other companies"

The man seemed to have misbehaved at Clara's words. All the bidders applauded Clara. That woman was really great at turning things around.

Eventually the tender was won by the Setya Company thanks to Clara's efforts. As a gift, Tomi wants to buy her a meal.

"I don't want to eat. I just need something fresh. How about ice cream or ice?" Clara's advice is taken by Tomi.

At half-time in the afternoon Clara and Tomi returned to the company.

"Is Mr Hendra still sick? If so, then we can't come to the anniversary Zone Company tonight" Clara said.

"Come by. I'll accompany you there" Tomi said, making Clara relieved.

At exactly seven o'clock, Clara and Tomi arrive at Zon Company. The invited guests present were not random people. They are from the top, some are from abroad.

"Hello, Mr. Zacks. How are you?" Tomi greeted the stranger in front of her. The man looked.

"Oh, Hi. Long time no see. I'm well. How are you? Oh yes, where is he? Isn't he coming? (Oh, hi. Long time no see. Good news. How's it going? Oh yeah, where is he? Didn't he come)" asked Mr. Zack was looking for someone.

"I'm well. He couldn't come, there was business. Oh yes, meet this Miss Clara. She's his new secretary. (Good news. He can't come, there's business. Oh yes, this is Miss Clara. He's his new secretary)" Tomi said.

Clara and Mr. Zack shook hands and introduced himself. Mr. Zack resigned because he wanted to greet his other business partners.

"You stay here. I'll be back in a minute" Tomi said and left. Clara just grunted in annoyance at him.

"Hi miss Clara" Sapa a man.

Clara tried to remember the man. "You're the guy in the tender this afternoon, right?"

Clara immediately returned Vano's hand.

"I'm Clara"

"You were so stunning. I'm amazed"

Clara just nodded in response.

"Everybody was talking about you. They say they want a secretary like you. Em, do you want to be my secretary? I promise I'll pay you double"

Clara looked towards the man. "Sorry, but I'm not interested. I like working in the company now"

"Why? the CEO of Setya Company is notoriously ruthless, fierce and cold, he also likes to rule at will. Why do you want to work there? He was not handsome and old. You better work with me, already handsome, kind and romantic" The man blinked his eyes making Clara nauseous.

"Sorry, but I'm comfortable working there"

The man snorted angrily then left Clara. After the man left, several other men came to Clara. They tease Clara making the woman furious. He was eager to beat them especially hit Tomi who had left him alone.

Tomi was walking towards a room. He opened the door of the room and entered.

"You've come, Tom"

"Sir boss? You're home yet?" Tomi asked in surprise when her boss was in the room with Mr. Hendra. Mr. Hendra told him to come to the room.

"Yes, I just got home. How's my new secretary?"

"We tested it like my father wanted. He can get all the cooperation contracts as long as you leave. He also managed to calm the tender. He has also been taking care of the duties of the CEO during the time he left. It's very good" Tomi said.

"Sir Hendra, what do you think of my new secretary?"

"Very cool! The cuisine is as good as that of a professional chef. It works very fast too. He's a no-nonsense guy and always obedient when I tell him to. Anyway he is very professional in any aspect" Sahut Pak Hendra.

The man just kept quiet. He was not satisfied with the answers of his two employees.

"Sir, don't you want to know what your secretary looks like? At least her name?" Ask Tomi.

"No, I'm not interested. If he's a professional then I'll take it. Oh yeah, how's it?"

Tomi understood the meaning of her superior question.

"Mother just calm down. She's not the centile type of woman. Some of our clients invited him to dinner and some teased him but he always refused. He said he wasn't interested" Tomi said.

"I'll be in tomorrow. I'll get to know the secretary myself. If it's only been a day that I come in and he's been teasing me, then I'll fire him just like the previous secretary, even if I have to pay a fine for it" the man said.

"Well sir" Tomi resigned, she had to accompany Clara.

Event finished. Tomi takes Clara home.

"Where have you been? Why so long? You know, I was approached by a couple of guys earlier. I hate him so much" Clara said.

"I have business. Why are you angry, you should be glad that a man approached you. They must be handsome" Tomi said.

"As much as they are handsome or not. I just don't like it. That guy sucks" Clara said, still upset.

"You sound really hateful to men" Tomi said.

"Not everyone, I just hate one guy" Clara said, recalling Reyhan.

The next day Clara came as usual. He was shocked to see someone at the CEO's desk.

"Tumben sir, you came on time. Usually you come at nine" Clara doesn't really see the guy's face because it's covered in the newspaper she reads.

Clara immediately made milk coffee for her boss as usual. He put his coffee on the table.

"Please pack the coffee"

"Thank you"

Clara frowned. 'Is my feeling or is Mr Hendra's voice different than usual?'

To ensure his hearing, Clara calls Hendra again.

"Sir, are you okay?"

"I'm good" The man took down the newspaper he read until Clara could see his face.

Clara rolled her eyes in disbelief, as did the man. Clara's eyes glazed over, her heart ached. The man ....

"You!" Clara and the man said at the same time.
