Something to Lose

The morning dawned, the evening party at Lydenn Academy left many students exhausted. Most of them are still asleep in their dreams. No exception Joseph, who was still curled up in his blanket. Adreano looked calm at his desk this morning drinking his warm coffee, He seems to have just sent someone an email.

Adreano got up from his chair and looked at the clock on his desk. At five two and five, Adreano opened the window curtain of his room slowly. Shortly after that the phone both vibrated on the study table. Adreano immediately raised the call, and a voice was heard,

"Is this information true?" ask for the voice from the phone.

"Of course, I've already sent the details in the next email" Adreano said quietly.

"Wait a minute until we're done making sure, don't close this call" the voice said.

"All right..." Adreano.

A few minutes later, the voice on the phone came back,

"Are you still there?" tanyakanya.

"Yes, I'm still with you" Reply Adreano.

"After confirming this, it turns out that your report provides new clues to the smuggling case. Please be careful with people who are in contact with the Minister of Health" the voice explained.

"Is there any action from the boss?" Ask Adreano.

"The principle simply instructs you to stay alert and cautious. In addition, the employer has sent another Agent to contact you from within the Academy. Meet him this morning at the school clinic" Obviously the voice again.

"Alright, I understand" replied Adreano, then the call was interrupted.

Adreano immediately took his coat and scarf. He wore a watch and wore a black hat, not forgetting he brought his second phone. Slowly open the door of the room and ensure the presence of his friends. Apparently, Joseph was still in his room. Seeing that condition, Adreano rushed out of their dormitory and immediately went down the stairs out of the building and then moved towards the school.

The school looked quiet, the air was getting colder. Autumn breeze blew yellow leaves off the branches of the tree. Adreano set foot towards the school area, it was still half six passes and the sun slowly rose but the light was blocked by cloud overcasts. Seen from a distance there are some school employees who are busy sweeping the cluster of leaves in the yard.

Adreano greeted them kindly, they replied to Adreano's friendly greeting well. Adreano entered the school area, while the guard was weakened. Passing through each hallway slowly but surely, Adreano made it to the school clinic. He remembered it when Simon first invited him.

The sturdy school Clinic door with a hanging board reading "School Clinic", Adreano stood looking at him for a while and breathed in and exhaled slowly. He pulled the golden doorknob, then walked into the school clinic. There was a body silhouette behind the white curtain inside, which then blew the wind from outside the room, it seemed like the window was open. Adreano approached the silut.

"Have you arrived?" Speak behind the curtain.

"Yes..." Short reply Adreano.

The man behind the curtain flicked his barrier curtain and stared at Adreano. Adreano who then saw the figure of the person was instantly shocked.

"uh? Harris?" Ask Adreano.

"Yes, Mr. Heinze, code agent zero seven" he said with a warm smile on his face.

Adreano, still in astonishment, looked at Harris and sat down next to him, on one of the beds facing the window.

"You must be confused, right? Why me" he said as he stared at the open window with a view of the Ginkgo Tree that continued to drop its leaves.

"What's the matter exactly?" Adreano asked seriously and followed Harris's point of view.

"Rowan Duxels..." He said to Adreano.

Adreano who heard it immediately turned his gaze towards Harris who was sitting next to him. An angry face was clearly on his face.

"You know something?" Ask Adreano again while tempering his anger.

"Of course, he's my distant cousin, the only person who understands me..." Reply Harris.

The look on Adreano's face calmed down again and looked out the window again. The atmosphere became suddenly silent and awkward. Adreano opened his mouth,

"Why did you end up like this?"

Harris smiled and flicked his wind-blown front hair,

"Just wanting revenge, I then followed his path, as you can see now that I'm a member of your outsiders. Back then, he was honest with me that he was an Intelligence Member sent from his academy. He also told me a lot about you..." Harris clearly with a sad tone.

"Of course, he died fighting 'them' isn't that obvious? The accident that night was no coincidence..." Harris said softly.

Adreano put on a sad and moody face when he heard the word of the accident that killed his best friend. Both are pensive, though,

"So, Adreano please help me and get over this. Many of us are suffering in this Academy, without you knowing. The greed and ambition of the adults around us snatches away the happiness we should have as teenagers, young souls" Harris explained, pressing his hand against Adreano's shoulder.

"Whatchu mean? Suffering because of adults?" Tukas Adreano's.

"I ask you, what do your parents think who only care about maintaining their ambitions and egos? They just make their children their attributes. Once you shame them, you will be judged by both. They'll blame all the problems for your existence. That's how it stays in this social circle" Harris said.

Hearing it made Adreano feel bad. In his mind, Adreano thought about it seriously. The reality he saw and felt was indeed true as Harris had said.

"Isn't getting a wish a sacrifice? Yes, all humans have to experience it. Sacrifice covers many aspects. Whether it is money, power, time, goods, even the worst is other humans or things that are loved. Isn't that basic knowledge so you can live in this cruel world?" Harris continued on.

"What sacrifice do you mean this time, Harris?" Adreano asked Harris.

"This is Lydenn, the place of sacrifice. All aspects you can bet on here" Harris replied.

The wind blows slowly into the room stroking the hair of the two gently. The atmosphere felt awkward again,

"The mission for you this time is, Eliminate this academy, zero seven" Harris said suddenly.

As soon as he heard Harris' words, Adreano's eyes opened wide. He was surprised by Harris' words.

"Wait... What do you mean by wither-" It wasn't finished Adreano replied to Harris, at which point Harris cut him off,

"You think it's got nothing to do, don't you? It's just a school and you're thinking, what's wrong with this being just a place to study?"

Adreano was stunned for a moment and looked at Harris again with a restless facial expression.

"Adreano, the Academy is not doing as well as it once did. You entered the Military Academy to serve this country, didn't you?" Tanya Harris convinced Adreano.

"...Of course, I swear. I will protect this country" Adreano replied.

Harris smiled, though,

"Then do you believe that it is indeed the mission of your superior? They told me to convince you" said Harris, who reassured Adreano.

"Of course, if that's his order. Means a situation exists that endangers the state..." Reply Adreano again.

Sunlight began to slowly appear behind the shifting cloudy clouds. Little by little the light began to shine on the earth. Slowly the light came into the clinic. The temperature seemed a little warmer.

Harris displayed a sad facial expression again and spoke again to Adreano,

"Rowans... Rowan says she has a lot of respect and respect for you. He said that one day you would be a great person" Harris said, rubbing his eyes.

Adreano seemed silent a thousand languages. The mixed feeling in his heart started to affect his soul. Harris and Adreano looked sad and gloomy. Both have a good relationship with Rowan Duxels.

"What should I do now? Did the boss give you anything?" Tanya Adreano is serious.

Harris reached into his coat pocket, apparently taking out something wrapped in a black dust bag. He gave it to Adreano.

"Use that, affect the reputation of this academy and get it done. We're gonna close this school next. Be careful!" Harris.

Adreano opens the contents, there is one external HDD, two memory chips, and one flash. Immediately Adreano closed the black dust bag back, then placed it in the bag in his black coat.

The two got out of bed and shook hands. Adreano immediately left the school clinic room and left Harris alone.

"Rowans... It's gonna be over soon. He and I will live a better life..." Harris said quietly while looking out the window, where the gingko tree continued to drop its leaves.
