After traveling for more than an hour, the cadets finally arrived in Bantir. The vehicle they were riding entered the gate of an old military complex on the slopes of Ungaran mountain. In the previous section, it was written by KOLAT RINDAM IV/DIPONEGORO. The people here call it army barracks.
The building was established by the Dutch as a training ground for soldiers. During the Japanese occupation, it was used as a place for war purposes. Now used by the TNI. Until now this building is still well maintained. In addition to being used as a TNI training ground, this place is also often used by non-military organizations to conduct Dicsar or other activities.
“There are those who say this place is haunted,” Seno said in a whispering voice, as the vehicle he was riding entered the military complex.
“How's it going?”
“Like a sighting of a headless Japanese soldier. If there are more dicsar exercises, there are participants who are possessed as well.”
“Masa?”
“Iya. So don't be sompral here.”
Believe in disbelief, but they just follow the advice of Seno. Wherever we are, we must take care of our behavior and speech. Judging from its history, this military complex has indeed stood for a long time. No wonder there are so many scary rumors going on here. Their conversation was over, when the vehicle stopped.
One by one the cadets got off the military vehicle. They immediately headed for the field that was there. All cadets lined up following the direction of his commander. Rows of cadets and cadets were made separately. Later they will do multiple exercises separately.
The deputy commander returned forward. Before the double exercise was done, the man again gave his advice. Not much time was spent on delivering the message. The platoon commander gave a cue to the cadets to immediately prepare for the first training.
The first exercise they will do is shoot. With their backpacks and guns they immediately headed to the location to do shooting exercises. The entire cadets were divided into several groups. Azzam with his group preparing to do shooting drills. First they took the prepared bullets, then headed to the location.
Azzam aimed his rifle in a standing position. His eyes stared straight at the target in front of him. Several times the young man fired his gun. He knelt down and fired a gun. Lastly, Azzam took a position down. After his position felt right, he pulled the trigger and fired his weapon several times. The next shooting exercise is done using a gun. Just like earlier, Azzam aimed the gun in his hand, aiming at the target. After shooting, the coach saw the results of shots made by cadets.
After doing shooting exercises, then the cadets will do the seepage or infiltration course. Seepage is a form of military exercise aimed at training the skills and dexterity of soldiers to approach targets by passing through the whirring of sharp ammunition weapons fire.
Azzam and the others gathered in the trenches that were in the training arena. They peeked out from behind the moat, with guns in their hands. They are ready to do the seepage. First they read the situation ahead. Slowly Azzam crawled up, then crept on the grass.
As soon as the cadets had crept up, the coach preparing behind the machine gun started firing his weapon. The sound of bullets rang out as Azzam crept closer to the enemy's location. Occasionally the trainer throws grenades and makes a bang. Azzam quickly crept past the barbed wire. His hands and feet kept moving, creeping under the wire.
Next the young man crept between the wooden embankment which was only limited in width. The movement gets faster as it approaches the barrier. Arriving at the barrier, they peeked at the surroundings, then stood up and attacked the location of the enemy. Azzam moves his weapon, like the middle of fighting the enemy with a rifle as a weapon.
The seepage exercise is completed, when the cadets manage to reach the location where the enemy is. After the shooting and seepage practice was completed, the cadets were welcome back to the barracks to rest. Tomorrow they will be doing HTF training.

The next day the cadets will do HTF or How To Find a Fighter. In this exercise, cadets will walk six to eight kilometers in varied terrain, such as flat roads, climbs, derivatives, rocks, trenches, muddy and paved roads. Midshipmen are also equipped with combat equipment, such as organic weapons rifles and pistols, peples or drinking water, copelrim, draghrim, steel helmets, etc, the backstroke and backpack weigh about five kilograms.
Along the route traveled, combined with certain material testing posts, such as replings, togle rides, slides, hesty descents, landing nets, one-strap termites, three-string bridges, two-strap bridges, etc, and the lempika (throw the knife and axe).
Azzam entered the forest of the HTF training ground with a distance between one and the other of about one meter. The young man then headed for the post that tested the martial material. Along with two other cadets, Azzam demonstrated the moves requested by the coach.
“Tortoise left front! Hait!”
Azzam moved his right leg back one step back. The position of the foot slightly bends with the left foot in front. His right hand is near the chest with a clenched position and his left hand is in front with the palm open.
“Stage rate parallel. Hait!”
“Hait!”
Azam's right foot advanced forward while moving his right hand forward with a heady position, while the left hand was above the waist with a heady position as well.he did it alternately right and left.
“Retreat, push up. Hait!”
“Hait!”
Azzam's left leg retreated backward, his right hand raised upward while his right hand was beside his waist. He did the same for his right foot and left hand.
“Double parcel forward. Hait!”
“Hait!”
Azzam's right foot advanced forward along with the movement of his right hand like he was slashing with the palm open and facing up. The left hand is beside the waist. He performed similar movements for his left leg and hand.
“Return push up. Hait!!”
“Hait!”
The three cadets did a reverse motion to push over as previously demonstrated.
“Back to attitude!”
“Good!”
“Completed. Weapons retrieved, check gear.”
Azzam picked up his backpack and weapon, then continued on his way. This time he headed for the three rope bridge post. There a coach was waiting for him.
“Report. One four seven, ready to do launch.”
“Create!”
“Ready to do!”
Azzam started crossing the three-string bridge. This bridge is made of rope. One rope is at the bottom, serves as a foothold, while two ropes are on the right and left sides, serving as a handle. With a slow but determined movement, Azzam passed through this obstacle, while shouting something.
Next up is the launch. Azzam picked up the rope that had been knotted at the end. He continued walking towards the launch site. This activity is the same as the flying fox, only this time the cadets do not use the carmantle rope on his body. They only relied on the mine in his hand to slide. The mine that Azzam had taken, was hung to a slide rope. Both of his hands were holding on to the side of the circular-shaped rope.
“Report. One four seven ready to launch!”
“Create!”
“Siap, carry out!”
After being sure both hands were holding the rope properly, Azzam began to slide. His body continued to move in the direction of the rope, passing through the river below, until it arrived at the end. Next he continued his journey. The mine he used was stored in a vehicle that was not far from the final launch location.
Now Azzam down a small rocky river. This river is more precisely called a trench, because it is not too wide and the water is also not swift. Azzam lowered his body, as he passed through the passage of the trench. He got out of the trench, then went up, to the next post, the landing net post. He had to pass through the net in order to continue his journey.
“Report. One four seven ready to climb overland net.”
“Create!”
“Ready to do!”
One by one Azzam climbed the landing net made of rope up to the top. His hands and feet move in rhythm so he can quickly climb, jump and then move down. Next, he'll head for the two-string bridge post.
“Report. One four seven ready to cross the rope bridge two.”
“Create!”
“Siap, carry out!”
The bridge across Azzam this time is the same as the three rope bridge. The bridge uses only two ropes. One to hold on to, and another to tread. While holding on to the rope and adjusting the balance, Azzam's legs began to move across the bridge carefully.
After passing the rope bridge twice, this time Azzam will pass through the rope termite one. Azzam positioned his body on the rope. Both hands held tightly to the rope, his right foot in the bend and hooked the rope to his foot, while his left foot remained in a straight position. Azzam's hand advanced, then pulled his body, and so on until he reached the end. Do not be asked how the shape of his palm, because it often comes into contact with the rope, it is certain that his palm feels rough, there may even be calluses as well.
Physical testing in HTF exercises does not stop there. Azzam still has to pass another post that is not less difficult. This time he's heading for the repling post. Using the mine, the young man descended the cliff. Occasionally his feet set off on the cliff, making it easy for him to get to the bottom.
“Report. One four seven, ready to ride toggle.”
“Create!”
“Siap, carry out!”
Togle riding exercise, is the exercise of climbing the road with the help of rope. Azzam took the rope that had been prepared, then began to ride the hard to walk uphill road, until needed tools. Here cadets use rope as a holding place to get to the destination. After successfully reaching the top, he immediately headed for the next post, which is a battle of sangkur and lempika (throw of knives and axes).
A scoop is a sharp weapon or knife placed on the end of a rifle. Azzam prepared with his trumpet, then he began to show the sangkur fights. He moves following the direction of the coach, attacking the target that is used as the object of the battle of sangkur.
Then the young man showed his ability to throw a knife. He held the blade of the blade blade of the blade blade with his right hand, then threw it towards the target. The man did this three times, then the coach declared the clay training finished.
Training continues, now he's heading for the post down hesty. Hesty descending exercise is an activity down the inclined terrain using a rope tool.
“Report. One four seven, ready to go down hesty.”
“Create!”
“Siap, carry out!”
With both hands holding on to the rope, Azzam began to descend the sloping terrain. He must be careful in treading, because the surface of the soil is uneven and there are also holes or tree roots.
Hesty training is the closing exercise in this HTF activity. Midshipmen are drained quite a lot, because they have to go through various difficult terrain. Today's training is over and will continue tomorrow with a different training.
