Eps. 200 — Village Fire
"Until when do I continue in this situation..." Zhou Yuan scratched his head with a slightly frustrated feeling.
After Zhou Yuan entered the mirror portal, he still continued in the portal passage for several hours until now. Zhou Yuan was unsure but it seemed like he had already half a day of living in the passageway of the portal.
Zhou Yuan did not see at all the end of this portal that showed so far away the distance of the world's displacement.
Zhou Yuan tried to spend his time by reading the Book of the Heavenly Kings in his spatial ring but while trying it the space ring did not work, perhaps it was because now Zhou Yuan was inside a portal passageway that knew no time and space.
Now that Zhou Yuan had done nothing for several hours and this made him very bored, his body continued to be carried away by the flow of the portal passageway by moving at high speed.
"I hope I'm not here to spend a long time..." Zhou Yuan sighed harshly.
A while later Zhou Yuan finally saw a very small glimmer of light right in front of him. Zhou Yuan's face suddenly brightened, it was unmistakable that the light was the end of the portal.
The light continued to grow as Zhou Yuan moved towards him. When there were only a few kilometers left, the light grew brighter and made Zhou Yuan have to cover his eyes.
Saaat Zhou Yuan opened his eyes again, he found himself already out. Zhou Yuan was shocked when he came out of the portal and was plunging down from the sky.
Zhou Yuan immediately exerted a deep energy on his entire body before using the science of flying. His body that was almost completely on the ground was now void because Zhou Yuan was floating in the air, too late he did not activate his flying knowledge maybe he would hit the ground strongly due to a fall at a high altitude.
"Hm, where is this?"
The place where Zhou Yuan's portal appeared was right in the middle of the forest, he could see nothing around him other than a vast expanse of forest.
Zhou Yuan had already been told earlier from Feiyu that there was a chance that the point Zhou Yuan appeared when moving the world would be at a random place. Zhou Yuan did not expect he would appear in the middle of the forest.
The first thing Zhou Yuan did was try to make a portal with his portal ring, he swung his hand several times but the portal ring did not work at all.
"It seems like Aunt Feiyu's words were correct that the portal ring could not be used for a while..." Zhou Yuan sighed softly.
Feiyu had previously said that the portal ring could not be activated immediately due to the world move that Zhou Yuan had made, the portal ring had to adapt to its new world before it could actually be used.
Zhou Yuan scratched his non-itchy head before flying in either direction, Zhou Yuan was intending to find someone or a settlement to guide him to where his current place was.
Zhou Yuan continued flying at high speed over the vast expanse of forest, about fifteen minutes later he finally found a settlement that was a village.
The village was located in the interior of the forest, Zhou Yuan was actually surprised because the village was in the middle of a forest that seemed like there were many ferocious beasts or even demons nearby.
As the distance he and the village drew nearer, Zhou Yuan frowned when he realized there was a fire in the village and it was huge in size as well as in many places.
"It's a fire..."
Zhou Yuan finally realized that the great fire was coming from the burning of the house, not one but dozens of houses were burning at the same time.
Without waiting for Zhou Yuan to increase his flying speed until he finally stopped right above the village.
The citizens were unaware of Zhou Yuan's arrival floating above him, after all they were too busy to put out the ever-growing fire in their homes.
Zhou Yuan then flowed a deep energy in his mouth and then made a change in the type of water.
"Elemental Water — Breath Blowing Water!"
Zhou Yuan spouted a large amount of water in his mouth to put out the fire in one of the houses. The spray of water was large enough that in a short time immediately extinguished the house fire.
Zhou Yuan did not stop there he flew over the other house and spewed similar water.
Zhou Yuan's actions were quickly noticed by the villagers, their mouths wide open for two things, first Zhou Yuan who could spit out water in his mouth then second Zhou Yuan who could fly in the air.
Zhou Yuan realized the attention of the villagers was on his way but he did not care about it now, Zhou Yuan continued to extinguish the fires one by one.
It did not take long until Zhou Yuan finally put out the fire in the village. Zhou Yuan then started landing right in front of the villagers who had been looking at him since earlier.
"The fire in your village is extinguished, you can calm down now."
Zhou Yuan's words resuscitated the citizens, he barely blinked due to Zhou Yuan's previous actions. For villagers in the interior like them the incident is clearly beyond his mind.
"Are you a human being or some other being disguised as a human being?" Ask one of the people doubtfully.
Zhou Yuan coughed softly, "I'm human like you guys, nothing more."
"Are you a swordsman?"
Zhou Yuan nodded. "Yes, I'm a swordsman..."
The residents were amazed and relieved when Zhou Yuan said so, one of the residents approached Zhou Yuan and grabbed his hand to shake his hand.
"You must be the swordsman that the hero guild sent in the city to help our village instead. Thankfully, I thought they would ignore our mission..." Said the citizen before introducing his identity as the village head here.
"I've heard from the rumors that warriors are human beings who have extraordinary powers, but I didn't expect them to also be able to float and spurt out that much water..." The village head felt astonished at Zhou Yuan.
Zhou Yuan smiled awkwardly, he was sure in the human race no swordsman could float in the air like him, perhaps even Zhou Yuan was the only swordsman who could fly without having wings.
Hearing the village chief mention the hero guild indicated that Zhou Yuan was still or at least in the Northern Mainland Continent.

The village chief sighed. We were just silent to see our house burned by them, only after the group left did we try to put out the fire even though it was a little too late..."
