Eps. 243 — Leave the Chu clan
"Senior Yuan, to once again thank you for helping Brother Xi..." Chu Guyu paid his respects to Zhou Yuan.
Both of them had already left the room after treating Xi Kai, Xi Jinxue and his family members felt moved as the condition of their family leader improved. Of course they also thanked Zhou Yuan for helping him.
"It's okay Matriarch Chu, I can't let Chairman Xi get hurt just like that either." Zhou Yuan nodded slowly.
Zhou Yuan could not let a high-level swordsman figure like Xi Kai die just like that because Zhou Yuan would need him to fight against a criminal organization in the future.

The Sky Cloud Temple organization must have known that the jade would land in the Chu clan hence they attacked this place. The reason Chu Guyu thought so was because there should be no advantage to the Sky Cloud Temple attacking his clan.
"Klan Chu may be part of the martial world but we are actually just a village that does not want to interfere with the outside world. As long as they don't harass us, the Chu clan doesn't care even if the Imperial government collapses though..."
Chu Guyu explained that the Chu clan was a closed clan and not just anyone could enter it. "The Xi family and the Chu clan do not have the ability to guard this jade, if it falls into the hands of the Sky Cloud Temple organization then the martial world will be in danger."
Chu Guyu smiled faintly as he looked at Zhou Yuan. "I'm sure Senior can keep this jade better than anyone, at least you're not part of them."
Hearing that explanation Zhou Yuan had no other choice but to accept it, "If that's what Matriarch Chu decided, I don't mind accepting it."
Chu Guyu nodded slowly, he could breathe a sigh of relief because at least the jade was in safe hands.
