Ch 167's. Meetings
Ren Yuu slowly moved towards the Main Hall of the Feng clan.
Behind Ren Yuu, Feng Jue followed slowly out of curiosity as well as why Ren Yuu was summoned by so many Elders.
When Ren Yuu reached the front gate of the Main Hall of the Feng clan, the guards immediately opened it because they had already received orders from some of the clan Elders.
Ren Yuu nodded towards the guard as he continued walking into the Hall.
The Main Hall is a place of discussion by some Elders to determine something or give important orders related to the clan.
When Ren Yuu reached inside the room, he saw more than half of the Elders were inside the room which made him slightly constrict inside.
There were also two children in the room. But Ren Yuu simply ignored the two people.
Ren Yuu slowly walked towards the inside then stopped in the middle of the room. He leaned over a bit and looked up as all the seats were on top forming a semicircle around the room.
Some of the Elders frowned at Ren Yuu's attitude which was like he didn't have much respect for them.
Ren Yuu knew there would be a problem with his attitude. But, he would not kneel down like submission to others other than to Master, father, mother, grandfather and grandmother.
The last time he kneeled to people was because Ren Huanran was taken hostage by a strong cultivator to play tricks on him.
"Kneel!" Command one of the Elders in a cold tone.
Ren Yuu remained silent not following that order at all.
The elder was getting angrier seeing Ren Yuu disobeying his orders. He then directly attacked Ren Yuu using his aura to make Ren Yuu kneel on the floor.
Ren Yuu felt an extremely terrifying pressure from the direction of the elder. But he did not flinch at all even though sweat was pouring down his back.
The elder grew even more furious then added more pressure.
"Let's see when you'll survive!" The elder said coldly.
All the elders just silently looked at that. Although Ren Yuu was one of the best talents, his attitude that was like disrespect to the Elders made some of them feel angry.
The pressure is getting higher. Ren Yuu was unable to endure it at all. His bones were squeaking strongly. His muscles tighten and show a lot of urate.
But, Ren Yuu would not be willing to kneel at all.
"Stop!" Someone's voice sounded again. Ren Yuu knew it was Feng Jienkong's voice.
The elder glared at Feng Jienkong then said coldly, "you better take care of this brat to understand the manners, Elder Jienkong!"
The elder instantly withdrew his aura.
After the pressure came off, Ren Yuu took a deep breath to calm down while glancing at the Elder at a glance with a hidden killing intent.
"Didn't he understand manners? If he doesn't have manners, he won't bend over to show us his respect, Elder Li." Said Feng Jienkong in a strange tone as well as looking towards Elder Li with a strange face as well.
Some Elders nodded hearing that. Feng Li grew even more furious hearing Feng Jienkong's words.
"We are Elders, it should already be all the members of the Feng clan kneeling before us!" Feng Li sounded extremely arrogant with the title of Elder he belonged to.
"You're not everyone's God or Teacher. Thus, there is no obligation for all members of the Feng clan to kneel before you!" A young-looking female Elder said coldly towards Feng Li.
"Feng Yin's...!" Feng Li's furious voice rang out again as he glared at Feng Yin.
"Enough!!" A hoarse old voice sounded. It was an old man sitting in the middle seat.
Feng Li instantly fell silent after hearing the voice of the Great Elder of the Feng clan while glaring at Ren Yuu intensely.
Ren Yuu knew why Feng Li was always trying to find trouble with him.
First, Ren Yuu refused to become his disciple.
Second, Ren Yuu broke both arms of Feng Li's new disciple.
Third, Ren Yuu won a big bet when fighting with the other Feng Li disciples.
Fourth, Ren Yuu never gave face to Feng Li as well as thought of it as the wind then when Feng Li spoke to him.
And lastly, Feng Li became the laughingstock of the Feng clan by all the Elders due to that incident which finally made his hatred towards Ren Yuu soar exorbitantly.
After all the Elders were silent, the Great Elder immediately spoke, "Feng Yuu, me as well as the Patriarch have been discussing for quite some time now. Although no one knows about this yet, we both have decided on something so we have to gather almost all the Elders who do not have busyness."
All the elders shriveled to hear him.
"You have become one of the highest candidates to enter the Soul Temple." Said the Great Elder who made all the Elders shrivel hearing it.
Ren Yuu also shriveled because he had already read what the Soul Temple was. The Soul Temple was one of the special places besides the Soul Pond belonging to the Feng clan.
The Soul Temple was a place to raise the soul level far beyond what the individual had.
This was one of the uniqueness of the Feng clan so there was a certain individual that was extremely difficult to kill. Because his soul became very strong.
But, the Soul Temple was also an extremely dangerous place even for Nascent Soul cultivators. Because, if the soul of the cultivator who went inside was very weak, the soul of that cultivator would be directly sucked in by that place.
There were hundreds of thousands of soul members of the Feng clan trapped within the Soul Temple because their souls were extremely weak. And many unawakened souls were thrown there because they all rebelled against the Feng clan.

Some elders also agreed on that. Although Ren Yuu's abilities could match those of the three stages of cultivation, some Elders didn't really consider Ren Yuu's talents highly.

All the Elders nodded hearing that except for Feng Li who put on an ugly face from time to time because Ren Yuu still had the chance to enter the Soul Temple.
