After Darel released his single Missing last year, he collaborated more with Pak Yoon and also created songs for several newly debuted groups. He also often sang his songs at Relkha Cafe for his youtube channel.

Melo is now entering the final year of her seven-year contract with MD Entertainment. Melo members gather and talk about the continuation of Melo's career. During the meeting, Darel as leader Melo who opened the conversation.

"Look, this is the last year of our contract with MD Entertainment. I do not plan to renew my contract with MD Entertainment. If you want to extend and defend Melo, please." Darel said seriously, and waited for the reaction of the other members.

He had minimal creativity after not being helped by Manager Melo anymore. In addition, Baek knew without him joining, Darel could make a Mini Album for Melo with all four members.

But Darel still hopes Baek will come along. Because the five of them are debuting together. He wished the five of them could also end it together.

"Because you guys have agreed to make Melo Mini Album, I hope Baek will also come along. Because this is our last work as Melo." Darel said calmly, looking at Baek. Baek nodded silently, he did not expect Darel to say so. Seeing Baek nod, Darel felt relieved.

"Well, that means the five of us will be working together again. I, as the leader, want to remind all of us, not to talk to others about Melo's contract extension plans with MD Entertainment."

"So from now on, we're just focusing on making Melo Mini Albums. No one drinks until they are drunk. Because often when drunk, we can't control our actions much less our speech." Darel said calmly and firmly.

"Yeah, Brother. We understand." David said, and Hwa and Chih understood. Baek just silently listened.

"Please say this Mini Album is a farewell gift to Melons who has been with us for seven years, so let's prepare as best we can."

"We will announce not extending the contract and dissolution at the same time at the right time and moment." Said Darel and the other members nodding in agreement.

When they heard that Darel had not extended his contract, they fell silent. Because the Agency realized, if Darel does not want to extend his employment contract with MD Entertainment, Melo will disband after their employment contract ends.

They also realized, Manager Melo could not do anything to lift the reputation of Melo that had been slumped almost two years ago. The Agency only gets the royalty share from all the personal activities of Melo members, especially from Darel who many personal activities.

In the meeting, Darel expressed his intention to make the Melo Mini Album as a farewell gift. Hearing that, the officials of MD Entertainment immediately agreed. Because it is aware of Darel's abilities and will also lose him.

After the meeting with the Managent, Darel contacted Mr. Yoon. Darel made an appointment to meet with Mr. Yoon to discuss his plans.

Mr. Yoon is willing to work with Darel on a song for Melo's Mini Album. They prepared six songs for the Mini Album. Mr. Yoon and Darel, each of them have two songs.

Two more songs, Darel takes from two writers who always faithfully support Melo. Because it matches the color of Melo music during this time. As usual, the song written by Darel was chosen by the members to be the title track in the upcoming Melo Mini Album.

After working hard for three months, Melo's Mini Album was released in the summer. And as predicted, the songwriters and top MD Entertainment, Melo booom Mini Album...

The Melons began to squirm and get excited. Melons showed their love by supporting the sale of Melo Mini Album, so that Melo can be successful again. Melo again graced the sausage media, and sang on various music shows on TV. Because they get a high rating.

There was a last song created by Darel, which was accompanied only by guitar by Darel and David. So that their vocal harmony is more prominent and touches the heart.

Seeing the public acceptance of the Melo Mini Album, the Management began to prepare for concerts at home and abroad. The members of Melo agreed and were welcomed by Melons worldwide. Indonesia is also included in the list of world Melo concerts. Hope shone in Darel's heart. 'Hopefully this is an opportunity to meet Dara.'  Darel.

But until their last concert in Seoul, that hope did not materialize. Dara is swallowed by the earth. Dropped in Darel's heart, 'could Dara be mad at him?'

In his busy life Darel often check social media, there may be DM from Dara, but there is nothing at all. It is from the unexpected.

Micah sees Darel's unhappy face after Melo's last concert. Micah knows, Darel hasn't got what he expected. This made Micah sad and anxious.

After all Melo's activities ended, and Melo was declared disbanded, Micah invited Darel to fly to Jeju Island. He wanted to invite Darel to take a short break at their resort.

In the silence of the night, they sat in the restaurant out door enjoying dinner and saw flickering lights along the coast of Jeju Island, Micah comforting him. "Darelle. About you and Dara, you've done your part with all your abilities. Let God do His part. Be quiet and calm, wait for what He will do for you." Micah's words calmed and encouraged Darel.

"Yes, Micah. I have done according to my limited abilities. Next, let the Lord help me with His unlimited ability." Darel.

"I have to be more patient and calm, in order to see things properly and clearly." Darel said, looking at the night sky strewn with stars. 'Thank God, You have comforted me with Your stars.'  Darel slammed with dewy eyes.
