Waifu Card Summon's
Chapter 9: To be or not?

'He kissed me.'

Celestine thought in a daze, lightly touching her lips with her fingertips.

His first kiss with a man.

It felt very pleasant, although not too different from his female bodyguard.

Maybe because it happened too fast?

He looked at Regulus's face, or rather, his lips.

Should she?

He did hear that men like it when women become more aggressive.

Before he could make up his mind, he felt his other hand move to grab him, but he regretfully stopped himself just in time.

He felt the heat running down his neck, all the way to the end of his ear.

Thankfully Regulus was facing away from her, so he did not see her reddened face.

"Please collect the wooden twigs, so I can make a fire."

"Y-yes? A-ah, no problem." He stuttered in reply, returning to his senses.

He was perplexed as to why Regulus wanted to make fire, but he was too embarrassed to ask why.

He quickly stood up, patting his robe, removing the dust and grass, but before he started to gather the broken wooden branches, a notification window appeared.

...[.Congrats! You kill a higher level x4 enemy than yourself! You get 18,100 XP + 400XP and Regulus get 11,900 XP]...

Celestine sighed sadly at the notice feeling guilty for taking their lives even though she knew she didn't need to feel guilty.

He never liked violence, especially since war caused most of his people to die.

He looked at the status screen, tapping on it to move to a new page.

While it was loading, a thought popped into his head.

'Why are they doing this?' He already knew the answer to that question.

There was nothing he could do because they were chasing after his master.

Even if he told Regulus that they were trapped in an illusion, the demons would attack faster.

'Maybe I'll ask if Regulus can summon a few more allies as a precaution after this. That reminds me, I need to talk to the goddess who sent us here. What kind of goddess sent us to the unknown forest?'

Celestine blinked in disbelief at how low her lucky points were compared to the others.

Although when he saw Karisma, he wondered if the stat had anything to do with how.

If so, perhaps he could find a way to reduce it a little.

He didn't want it to grow any bigger, because his back was already sore with him carrying all that weight.

Not to mention how strange it would look if it grew bigger.

He should check it later on when he breaks.

Although it does not seem to grow bigger, it is better to be on the safe side, and leave the stat of Charisma alone.

He placed 30 points for luck, 4 points for everything else except for Strength and Charisma.

For the power stat, he added 44 points to the power.

After picking up a few more wooden branches, he then moved to the next courtyard.

As he waited for the page to load, he looked down at the things he had collected and thought it was enough.

He looked around himself, only realizing that he was a little further away than he wanted, and quickly walked back to his master.

A thought popped into his head when he saw the shattered scene.

'If only I had the power...'

He bit his lips, shook his head.

Now was not the time to wail, he had to immediately finish whatever his master wanted him to do and tell them to go to a safer place.

As if hearing his request, the system went off as it sent out a new page for him to see.

Celestine blinked once, then twice, and then she gasped in shock as she realized what this meant.

This is awesome! If what he read was correct, every time he raised the stat to 50 stat, he would get a reward related to that stat.

That meant that he could increase all of his stats and gain some new advantages!

Which he had to see later when they were not in unknown territory.

He hoped this was the last page because this was starting to get a little annoying.

He finally arrived and was about to report to Regulus who was standing near the corpse when another screen appeared blocking his view.

[Reaching Level 10! Class Not Locked! Class assigned!]

Priestess - Can recover their wounded allies, protect them in battle, and even resurrect them.

Can use a fraction of the power of the God/Goddess.

[Godly Aura small] +9% for all stats

High Priestess- [Locks when Priestess Upgraded]

??-[Unlock when High Priestess upgraded]

Paladins - This is a hybrid class with the ability to play all three major roles, healing, protecting, and attacking.

They have auras, blessings, and seals that provide useful buffs for others.

??— [Opens when Paladin is upgraded]

Shaman-is an elemental and natural magician and brings the most potential buffs to any group in the form of totems.

A Shaman can summon one totem of each element.

(Earth, Fire, Air, and Water)

Druids - They are a class of shape-shifters that can take the form of animals and connect with nature.

They can engage in battle and they can heal.

Celestine did not know whether to feel upset because another page appeared or angry because the page did not appear at once instead of several pages.

He skimmed, ready to shut it down when he saw what the Priestess class needed.

He can't believe it.

He could regain a fraction of his strength if he chose that class.

If that was true then after High Priestess, it was most likely that it was the Goddess class where she would regain all her strength.

Would he still have his memories if he upgraded the class to the highest level?

Will she still be him or will she become the Goddess Larentia again?

And what he feared the most was, would he still love Regulus?

Celestine shook her head trying to calm herself down as she looked around the other Classes, hoping for something better.

Unfortunately, there was not much information about other classes besides paladins, which could help him make a choice.

It didn't say he had to upgrade the class, so he could remain as a Cleric.

He chose that class and closed a new window before it could expand completely, which fortunately was the last page.

Before he could tell Regulus that he was back, Regulus said,

"Fuck me."

Which he doesn't know how to respond to.
