6. Accepting You What It Is

In the car Samuel still remembered the sentence that Doctor Adzani said that anyone who had problems between himself or Sarah, then all he had to do was accept it. Because it is true that the doctor said that marriage should be based on willingness and mutual acceptance of the advantages and disadvantages of each.

Samuel turned his head to the side and looked at Sarah. The woman looked tired, her eyes narrowed countless times as if to endure the drowsiness. No wonder, Sarah never had a holiday when doing practice in the hospital. The woman was always excited. As a surgeon, he is required to always be ready in the hospital to handle patients who need him.

"You sleepy?" samuel asked, then looked back at the street and focused on driving.

When her husband asked, Sarah opened her eyes wide. After a few minutes without any conversation, he was pleased when Samuel asked about his situation. Sarah shook. "It doesn't seem like I'm just tired."

Sarah nodded small. He looked back at Sarah. "If you're sleepy, get some rest!"

"It's okay, I'm fine. I'll take a break as soon as we get home!"

Samuel did not comment again. They then fell silent for quite a long time as they had passed a few minutes ago.

Then Samuel called the woman. Sarah turned her head and looked at her husband with raised eyebrows. "Yes?"

"If I were barren, what would you do?" ask Samuel then. He wanted to know Sarah's reaction if she couldn't give him one of the children.

But Sarah's response was completely different from what Samuel had thought. The woman patted Samuel on the shoulder and smiled shadyly. "If you're barren, there's no problem. We can get a child any way. I'll never argue with him!"

"You mean?"

"Yes I will remain with you, be with you, and accompany you until the end of my life. And I also hope that whoever is troubled between us will not be able to stay away. Because we are married for love. The shortcomings we each have are God's way of strengthening our relationships. So I'll take it."

"You're not leaving me?"

Sarah shook. "Of course not. From the beginning you were my man of choice. Even if we can't have biological children, maybe God is preparing another better plan for us!"

Samuel's views changed firmly. "But what if you're barren?"

Sarah turned her head again. From there he thought that if Samuel had his flaws, Sarah would not have done anything stupid to leave him. But if Sarah is barren, will it make her husband leave her?

Sarah smiled softly. "If I am barren, then I hope that you can accept me as I can accept all your shortcomings. We'll try to find another way to solve this problem together. As long as you don't leave me, then I will be strong. But if you turn away from me once, I'll be fragile!"

Samuel focused on the road before him. He no longer commented anything along the way until they got home.

He was really exhausted and did not know what to say about the problems that were afflicting his household. On the other hand he really loves Sarah. While on the other hand his mother began to interfere for his household problems, Samuel was completely confused.

Sarah who saw her husband go straight into the room and rest as soon as they came home, was really sad. He couldn't see Samuel that way. But unfortunately, for this matter Sarah could do nothing but pray to God that all her problems could be resolved.

Sarah followed that sentence. He came to Doctor Adzani's room as soon as he finished his usual practice. At home he took the time to talk to Doctor Adzani.

Sarah's chest really wanted to explode because she felt cold heat waiting for the results that Doctor Adzani gave. The beautiful woman in hijab and thick body then said the sentence.

"This is the result of the examination I have done!" doctor Adzani said while pointing at the map he thrust on Sarah.

Sarah grabs the map and smiles at Doctor Adzani to relieve the strain on her face. "How did it go? Does one of us really have no children?"

Doctor Adzani smiled, he did not answer clearly but the woman invited Sarah to read the map herself. "Please doctor Sarah read the results of her own medical report!"

How to open the map with a thumping chest and a body that feels cold hot. He began to read the sentence presented in a table that only a doctor could read. His watchful eyes were then rounded when he saw the medical report.

Sarah even had to read it over and over again to convince herself that what she saw and read was completely accurate. All the medical signs from the health reports about her fertility and her husband showed unexpected results.

"So.." said wrongly restrained.

Doctor azani nodded. He understood that his colleague could read the report without him needing to explain it in detail. "Yes, Doctor Sarah. There's a problem with one of you two. And the one who can't give birth is Mr. Samuel himself!"

Sarah can't talk.

"Do I also have problems with my body?"

"After doing and ultrasound I found no problems in the egg, fallopian tubes, and womb. Everything's good."

"Are you sure?"

"I'm sure. If the infertility that occurred was suffered by your husband, Mr. Samuel."

Sarah's body was immediately broken. He did not know how to tell Samuel about the medical report that revealed the fact. Sarah could not bear to say if the problem of infertility came from the man. He could not make Samuel blame himself for not being able to have children.

Sarah's eyes are heating up. She was so sad she cried that she did not know what to do to convince her husband. Samuel would be devastated if he heard this news. And he doesn't want it to happen any way. Sarah had to make Samuel not know it he would hide this fact at any cost.

Because Sarah will always accept and love Samuel even though the man can not give him offspring.
