20 Years Adrift
Chapter 51. The Same Desire

Aira helps prepare clothes for Affan while he is taking a bath. This afternoon they plan to go to Agung and Reni's house.

"Darling! Bring the clothes here, dong!" affan exclaimed from the bathroom.

"Yes, Mum." Aira picked up the clothes she had prepared on the bed and took them to the bathroom.

He was ready to wait for Affan.

"Here, Mas." Aira stood outside the bathroom and handed Affan her clothes.

She did not expect that Affan had any other intention of calling her to the bathroom. Affan pulled his hand and brought it in.

"Mas Affan, I'm ready for this" Aira said. She was worried that her husband was ruining her makeup.

"I just want your lipstick, baby. It's too red." Affan brought his face closer and kissed Aira at a glance.

That kiss doesn't change anything. Affan was just looking for an excuse so he could kiss his wife easily.

"Hmm .. So Mas Affan wants to fuck me, huh?" Aira helps button Affan's bacu.

"No. There really was a little less lipstick." Affan scratched his head.

"So too red now less fit. Lying is a sin, my friend. Meningan honest." Aira spoke while fixing Affan's shirt.

"I'm ashamed, Aira." Affan blushed.

Aira looked at her husband inside. The husband of the passer managed to tear his heart apart at this moment. If they weren't in a hurry, maybe Aira had teased him and knocked down Affan's defense.

"Mas Affan's hair is a mess." Aira turned her face away and pretended to look for a comb near the sink.

After finding it he gave the comb to Affan.

"I'll wait outside, Mommy."

Being in one room together made his chest continue to shake. They start to not be able to control themselves if they are in such a close distance like a pair of newlyweds who always want a touch.

"Aira, you're so beautiful. It's hard for me not to tire you out every night. Astaghfirullah, it seems like I can't help myself every time I'm with Aira." Affan whispered softly as his wife had left the bathroom.

Affan's car stops in front of Agung and Reni's house. The residents who lived beside their houses stared at the wonder why there were luxury cars coming to the place.

Other than Rehan, no one owns a luxury car in the area. This time, the car was different.

They were shocked when they saw Aira and Affan get out of the car. However, they looked very happy and flocked to them.

After a while of pleasantries, Aira asked his uncle's neighbor for permission to visit the Great's house.

They praise the kindness of Affan and Aira who still want to visit there even though previously needed not good by his uncle.

"Assalamualaikum, Om Agung Aunt Reni!" greet Aira while knocking on the door.

Affan stood behind him with the hand they were carrying. On the way they bought pastries and some canned drinks.

The door of the house opened from the inside and revealed the face of Agung who looked pale.

"Mira! Affa! Come inside!" Her face was delighted to welcome her niece and husband.

"Thank you, Om. It's a little souvenir from us." Aira handed over the parcel she was carrying.

They sat three in the room. There was no one else but them so that made Aira and Affan wonder about the whereabouts of his aunt.

Agung said that Reni worked in a beauty salon after she was sick to meet the needs of both of them.

Aira and Affan did not discuss about their meeting a few days ago and the amount of money they gave. Reni must not have told me about it.

Seeing his uncle's condition, Aira felt pity. He had forgotten all the bad things he had received in the past. Affan gave a hospital admission card for his company's guarantee to check in.

Given Reni's materialistic nature, money will not solve this problem. If given cash, they will use it for other purposes.

After speaking at length, Affan finally revealed the purpose of his arrival. They invited Agung and Reni to attend the thanksgiving that will be held in another week.

Feeling that there is nothing to talk about anymore, Affan and Aira say goodbye to going home.

Time had already shown at seven o'clock in the night but Reni had not been seen coming home either. On the way, they did not cross each other.

"Darling, I'm hungry. We're looking for food, yeah." Affan showed his clear face.

"Yes, Mas. I'm hungry too. Faya must have eaten first."

"What do you want to eat? Let me find the nearest restaurant."

"I suddenly wanted to eat chicken noodles, Mas. I've been wanting to spend a few days." Aira looks to swallow.

Affan felt the same way and wondered how they wanted the same food.

"Yes, we're eating chicken noodles tonight. Next time you want to eat something or want to buy something do not hesitate to say, yes. I'll drive you."

Aira nodded happily.

Their car stopped at a food stall that looked crowded.

Both lined up to line up. Affan stood behind Aira by holding her shoulder with both hands.

They waited long enough. In the middle of the queue Aira looked agitated. Her hand covered her mouth with the tip of her veil.

"Mas Affan, I'll just wait there, yeah. I suddenly felt uncomfortable." Aira looked at Affan with a pleading gaze.

"Yes, Honey. Be sitting. Let me order some food for you."

Aira did not go into the food stall and chose a seat that was outside. His stomach felt very nauseous when he smelled the aroma of perfume from the body of visitors who queued in front of him.
