"What's up, Bim?" affan asked as they stood facing each other.
Bimo is seen regulating his breathing which is hunting due to walking too fast. Not wanting Affan to wait too long, he did it as quickly as possible.
"Sorry, Boss it seems like today I should go home sooner. My wife is having more and more frequent contractions. Looks like she's about to give birth and ...." Bimo paused his words.
Affan understands. Today was the most anticipated day by Bimo and his wife. After all, the return to work is also one hour away.
"Go home! Work business let me handle it. Your wife needs you now. Don't forget to tell me about the progress!" Affan patted Bimo's shoulder.
Bimo nodded.
"I'll take Hana to the hospital, too. His son has a fever." Bimo's asking permission for Hana.
"No!" affan replied firmly.
"You better go home now. Your wife needs you more" Affan added.
Bimo is not struggling. Although he was eager to help Hana but he was unable to resist Affan's decision. Right now his mind is very chaotic at the thought of his wife's state.
"Good, Boss. Excuse me, assalamualaikum," said Bimo.
"Wa'alaikum greetings" Affan and Aira answered almost simultaneously.
Bimo walked very quickly leaving Affan and Aira. His body was not seen again after entering the elevator.
Affan again took Aira walking towards their room. Throughout the journey, Aira was silent. Hearing the news that Sapphira was ill, her motherly spirit dominated.
All the files that Bimo had previously worked on were on Affan's desk. Affan did not immediately touch her and chose to sit on the sofa with Aira. Those jobs were not deadlines for today so he could relax.
"Mas" call Aira.
Affan looked at Aira who was still holding fruit soup in her hand. Event after event made them forget the original purpose of buying fruit soup and salad.
"Yes, honey." Affan looks calm even though in fact he is very agitated.
"Said Mr. Bimo Safira has a fever. Poor Mas, why did you not let him go home with Mr. Bimo." Aira did not understand Affan's current path of thought.
Affan touched his shoulders gently while smiling. There was no intention for him to hinder the ailing Sapphira from seeking treatment. Maybe Aira has not known about the existence of a special doctor who is at the company for 24 hours.
"You don't have to worry. Right now maybe Safira's been taken care of by the doctor on guard." Affan has already passed this responsibility on to senior employees.
At a glance Affan explained about the mini clinic, doctors and first aid in this company to Aira. As long as it is not severe, employees who are sick do not need to be taken to the hospital.
Aira nodded as a sign that she understood. He did not worry about Safira anymore.
"In addition to Bimo being in a hurry, I don't want Bimo's wife to feel misunderstood by Hana and her son," Affan explained, not wanting to hide anything from Aira.
"Mas Affan is right. It shouldn't be a woman who's about to give birth to see things that shake her feelings." Aira added.
"The wise wife."
They then enjoyed the fruit salad and fruit soup they had bought. Affan has not paid for it and is waiting for the depot owner to come over to collect.
Aira praised the taste of the fruit salad she ate. Affan tried to taste it. She also asked Aira to taste her fruit soup.
Although only sold in a small depot, it feels quite good. Unfortunately the manner of dressing and the courtesy of his sellers reduced Affan's judgment.
In the middle of enjoying his snack, the sound of Affan's room door being knocked from outside.
"Yes, Mum." Aira nodded.
The one who came was Hannah. Affan's body blocked his sight from looking inside so he didn't see Aira's whereabouts.
"Good afternoon, sir. Safira still has a fever. May I rest in your room" Pinta Hana.
His words did sound polite but it was inappropriate for an employee to do to the owner of the company. From inside the room Aira could hear it clearly. However, she did not want to interfere and preferred to trust her husband.
"You can rest in a room reserved for employees. There are some pretty comfortable facilities. If you don't know I'll ask someone to take you there" Affan replied firmly.
Not wanting to lose the chance to get close to Affan, Hana pretended to be exhausted holding Safira and sat crouching in front of Affan.
'I cannot fail. After this I should get a chance to ask Mr. Affan to drive me home. I'm sure he won't pull over. His social soul is very high.' Hana monologues in heart.
"I beg you, Sir. Let me rest in your room until work." Hana put on her sad face.
When Affan's heart began to weaken Aira came.
'Cannot be allowed. Hana is not a good woman. It seems like he has other intentions and intends to approach Mas Affan.' Aira did not want her husband to be seduced by another woman.
Hana's face turned deathly pale upon seeing Aira's arrival. He was shocked and frightened as if he were seeing a ghost.
'Is this woman still here? I think Mr. Affan drove him to the lobby to go home.' Hana was still shocked by the presence of Aira in front of her.
"Why sit like that, Ma'am. Come on please come in if you just want to rest," said Aira stretched out her hand to help Hana stand up.
Hannah felt very ashamed of Aira. His hope of seeking Affan's attention was dashed, with his wife instead.
Affan did not speak a word and chose to go to his desk to pack. He sorted out the files he would carry and do at home. At least he did not care about Hana's whereabouts and asked about her daughter's situation.
"Saffira's body is sweating. His body temperature usually goes down. He'll be cured soon." Aira observed Sapphira without touching her.
Pregnant women are so susceptible to contracting the disease that she is very careful to make direct contact with people who are sick.
"Yes, Madam. The doctor gave him medicine." Hana spoke with a little awkwardness.
Aira nodded. His hand grabbed a bottle of drink and unsealed it and gave it to Hana.
"You look pale and sweaty. It seems you are tense. Drink up!" aira Syndicate.
Hana nodded without daring to argue. She did not know the meaning of Aira saying that but she felt that this was not a good thing.
"Thank you, ma'am," said Hana.
"Either. Oh, yeah, what are you going home for?" ask Aira.
Although she dislikes Hana but she cares for Sapphira. The little boy was innocent even though his parents used him to attract her husband's attention.
"Not yet, Madam."
"I'll book you a cab online." Aira doesn't want to mince words anymore.
Affan's door came back on tap from the outside. Today was truly an emotionally draining day for Aira. However, he will continue to be on Affan's side to get rid of the bullies who come and go.
