Alexa gets into the car. He didn't know why he was so comfortable that he was on Azlan's side.

“Ya, miss?” Azlan's gaze was fixed to the front.
“Do you live alone? Where are your parents?”
“In village.”
“So you migrated?”
“It looks like so.”
“You cannot go home before your contract expires.”
“I know it.”
“For if you leave, I have no bodyguard.”
