Mardinal: The Assassin's Adventure

Mardinal: The Assassin's Adventure
Chapter 27: The Mysterious Villa

That same night, Mardin was on his way to deliver Uncle Rom's package to his destination while riding a skateboard. The path he passed through was quite dark, only aided by the illumination from the reflection of the light of two natural satellites in the sky there. Looks very quiet, no one passing by, any vehicle is also not visible.

On the right-hand side there are only shady trees, wild bushes, and asphalt roads that have been cracked and hollow. Mardin also had time to see some shophouses collapsed and the ringleader lala that had almost collapsed. If Mardin guessed, it looks like the area is a former night market tourist spot or something.

While carrying the package box in hand and still skating on the skateboard, Mardin chattered, “The path is haunted like this…? Is this a package you want to transfer to a person or to a dedemit? Not possible ‘kan Uncle Rom want to give you a package to shaman for pesugihan.”

Mardin had been dropping off the package for half an hour, but had not yet found the destination address. He may be able to use the skyboard to fly faster and find a destination, but still can not be used because it has just been modified Dimas. Tomorrow he can use the feature.

“The address is right this one, right? Supposedly, it is through here the way.” Mardin reads the address listed on top of the box to make sure.

Mardin continued to slide on the cracked road until his eyes found the shape of a large villa building that looks still standing strong, the lights also appear to be lit quite bright.

As far as Mardin traced this path, only the villa building was the one he had just found. The area is completely deserted, there is no one here other than the villa, even buildings that have collapsed and planted with wild plants that are often found Mardin.

“Kok can anyone want to stay in an empty area to jump like this?”

Mardin approached the villa fence. When he got to the front of the fence, Mardin stuck his skateboard on the back belt. Once he read the address listed next to the fence and matched it with the address on the package.

“Sama.” Mardin had dazed to see the villa behind the fence. “This is really people's home, right? Once a sacred building. If the building is sacred, it can be haunted in my dreams. It seems like a real home of people, though. The proof is that the lights here are on an electric drive.”

At first Mardin was about to try to call the villager, but his hand accidentally opened the iron fence. Both of his round blue eyes glared in shock. Mardin thinks the fence's locked.

“Lah? Rather locked? What's not afraid of being turned away, yak?” Because it was already opened, then Mardin decided to enter arbitrarily. “Please. The front page is wide, will not be astonished if you call from the fence here.”

This red-haired young man started to enter the front yard of the villa. The front yard is spacious, but it is quite dark because there is no lighting at all other than the lights inside the villa. The temperature around also feels quite cold even though Mardin has been wearing his favorite neon black-and-blue jacket.

The atmosphere here so it really feels haunted like in horror movies.

“Come…. It's an action novel, right? How can be made horror begi— Eh, geckos bengek.”

Mardin was grumpy when her foot accidentally stepped on something to sound. When he looked down, apparently all he stepped on was a broken tree branch.

“Woolah…. Tree branches, anyway?” Mardin picked up the tree branch. “It seems, this page has not been cleaned.”

Mardin threw the twig in any direction. Unexpectedly, the twig even hit a bat that was flying, making the animal fall unconscious. Seeing the original throw successfully hit the bat passing by, Mardin just put a plain face as usual.

“On target…. Though I just from throwing.”

After walking through the front yard, Mardin finally arrived at the front door of the villa. Once again, he was confused to see the situation around, still looking dark and quiet as if there were no signs of life here.

Mardin bobbing head. “Haaah…. What kind of creature does Uncle Rom know? His house in the middle of nowhere like this, hard to find also the address.”

Mardin was about to knock on the door, but when he saw that there was a bell button next to the door, he preferred to ring the bell rather than his books swollen just knocking on the door, moreover, the door looks thick and high.

“Excuse me..!” Mardin rang the bell. “There are packages here. Good evening! Package...package,package,package! Spada..!”

Because there was no lawfulness, Mardin rang the bell blindly, thinking that in that way someone would hear.

There is no manners of this red jamet.

“Night, package..!”

The girl was short in stature, only as tall as Mardin's chest. Has long, thick black hair tucked two down. The suit he was wearing was very simple, only in the form of a plain t-shirt that was somewhat oversized from his original body size and subordinate in the form of a long skirt patterned with flowers. Anyway, typical village girl, lah. Despite looking quite clumsy, the girl's face is very cute with a red hue vaguely visible on the skin of her face that is yellow.

Mardin was made shocked and surprised by the presence of this girl. He thought this villa was only inhabited by old fathers or mothers who deliberately sought safety from the dangers of Rogue and monsters. Apparently, the one who inhabits even cute girls.

As a word, Mardin managed to find beautiful flowers in the middle of a land dispute.

“A-anu…. Deck.”

The vow! Mardin was confused as to how he should talk to this girl. He felt like a pedophile was attracting his prey. In fact, he just wanted to talk to this kid for a minute.

“Sini Sama Brother, Dek…. I didn't bite, though. Sometimes I just like the nelen. Nih, Abang has a big lollipop, sweet, there are cream milk anyway.”

No, no, no! Mardin still has common sense to not do the ‘iya-iya’ thing. He himself was disgusted to imagine himself talking so to this little girl.

As much as possible, Mardin said, “You were playing until you forgot the time, huh? Been straying into this serem villa, so? Instead of straying like this, mending follow me. Let me take you to your place. Here danger, many monsters and ghosts roam.”

Mardin's intentions are good to take this girl home. But from the way he spoke it was no different from the one imagined.

Equally suspicious.

Instead of answering, the girl hid her face behind the door. Faintly, both of her brown eyes began to glaze over, about to cry from fear.

“Tuh, right! I told you, here nyeremin.”

No wind, no rain, no storm, and no meatballs passing by. Mardin just pull the little girl's hand. Again, Mardin's intention was good to bring the girl home, but the way was suspicious.

“Sini. I'm anterin home. Here many—.”

“You...”.

It was not the girl who spoke, but someone else. It was predictable from her tone of voice that sounded like an adult woman.

Mardin stared straight behind the girl, precisely behind the door of the villa. There was a pair of green flashes in the darkness, it looked intimidating with a sense of anger going out around it.

Mardin took a sip of saliva. The feeling suddenly became so unpleasant.

From the pair of green flashes, came out a green-eyed and red-haired woman from behind the door holding a girl toddler. His facial expression showed anger, irritated at Mardin's presence. Especially when he found the young man's hand carelessly holding the girl's hand earlier.

“Basic you venereal villain! Where are you taking my sister?! Attack her, kids!!!”

“ORRRYYYAAAAH!!”

Suddenly a group of children of various ages came out from behind the villa door, directly storming Mardin mercilessly. Unable to fight the children, Mardin collapses on the floor with the package box still in his arms.

“Eh? Eh? Kyaaaah!!”

Here's finally. Have good intentions to bring girls people home, even scolded by the original family, raided by barbarian children as well.
