Victory in Life

Victory in Life
Chapter 30

Zayden's expression changed between gloomy and cheerful as he hung up the phone.

He felt a little panicked.

After planning for more than two years, success was before his eyes. But if something happens at a crucial time like this, forget not to get any benefits, besides that his family will also doubt his abilities.

"Suckers. Must be because of that fucking guy ..."

Jasper's figure flashed through his mind and Zayden punched his fist into the sink.

"Again, so what if you already know? My success is imminent and the Schuler Group will be mine in no time. And you are Wendy ... All you need to do is be my woman, and I might be able to let you live. Don't you dare try to look for death!"

After returning from the bathroom, Zayden no longer had an appetite so he made excuses to leave.

Dawson did not ask him to stay and let him go as he pleased.

Dawson frowned as he watched Zayden move away from the field.

"Zayden was getting impatient. No doubt he will try and speed up the transfer of assets, but it is not something I can handle. The money I have taken for investment ... Shit ...."

After hearing Dawson, Jasper suddenly said, "I can handle it."

Dawson looked at Jasper in shock.

Dawson. "That sounds pretty absurd to me. How are you going to return 600 million worth of investment funds?"

"As long as it has to do with money, it's not much." Jasper smiled lightly.

"Jasper's very good at this, Dad!" Wendy bragging.

"Don't joke." Dawson shook his head. "That's 600 million dollars he tricked me into with the paper company. There is no way to get that money back. The company's cash flow is tight and almost breaking up now. Suppliers will definitely start knocking on our doors if there's news."

As far as Dawson was concerned, Jasper had proven his opinion that this was all a fraud.

However, how would a young man like Jasper ever get back that 600 million investment fund?

Strangling Zayden and threatening him to return the money?

"That's unrealistic."

Thinking of that, Dawson felt desperate. "I never expected to be blind at this age, but I had already planned it. If we get to the point, I'll leave you both enough money to live the rest of your lives in more than enough wealth."

Hearing that, Dawson patted Jasper on the shoulder. "I like you, Jasper. I don't think I managed to be amazing when I was your age. I don't have to worry if you're the only one who's with Wendy."

"What are you talking about, Dad?" Wendy was nervous and embarrassed.

He was nervous of his pessimism and ashamed of how he had just given everything to Jasper.

"You're my son, how could I not understand what you're thinking? You haven't been interested in any boy since you were a kid, and here you bring him before me. How can I be blind to what you're thinking?"

Dawson's tone was grim.

"I'll take my time and slowly judge you if none of this happens, but I can't afford to do it right now."

"Uncle Schuler," Jasper could not help but speak as he watched Dawson's gaze become more pessimistic.

"It's only 600 million. I can give it to you."

Despite having seen many things in his life, Dawson was completely shocked when he saw Jasper.

A moment ago he thought that this young man was amazing. Why is he bluffing like this now?

"Jasp had just earned three billion hundred million dollars from the stock market a few days ago, Dad," Wendy spoke happily, her eyes more proud than when she earned the money.

"City ... What?!" Dawson thinks he heard wrong.

"Three billion and a hundred million dollars!" Wendy repeated herself.

Looking at Jasper again, Dawson discovers that his understanding of the boy is back in a review.

He has worked all his life but even in his best condition, the Schuler Group has never had that many assets.

Even so, the young man before his eyes who was such a young man had made three billion and a hundred million dollars?

40

"I'm definitely getting older."

Dawson only sighed when he found out that Jasper did indeed earn large amounts of money from the stock market.

Inevitably Dawson felt ashamed to face Jasper's humility.

Before his deception came to light, Dawson thought people like Zayden were examples of extraordinary people.

The thought of marrying his daughter to Zayden did indeed cross his mind.

But now that he thought about it, he asked what he was thinking.

Dawson completely ignored how vile Zayden's greed was to him.

Jasper's extraordinary character easily defeats everyone he's ever met before.

The young man had a net worth of several billion dollars, yet he did not let money cover his mind. On the contrary, Jasper was getting more humble and polite at every meeting.

"What is such a person, if not the best of the best?"

"I'm not the best for you, Jasper, and for that, I'm sorry," Dawson spoke sincerely.

"You're too good, Uncle Schuler."

Jasper shook his head. "I'm not the kind of person who meddles in other people's affairs, but there's no way I'm just going to sit back and watch when Zayden has bad intentions for you and Wendy."

As he spoke, Jasper glanced at Wendy inside who was blushing and too embarrassed to look at her. Jasper smiled and spoke again, "I Know Zayden took the money to invest in certain stocks."

"Although I can easily take out 600 million, there's no way I'll let it run free with so much money. What's yours is yours, and I'll make sure he returns with no less than a penny."

"What are you planning?" Dawson's eyes lit up as he asked.

"Since entering the stock market, I've been buying and selling stocks by following whatever the trend is. But I haven't stocked anyone yet. Have you ever, heard of the dealer idea - take-all but in terms of the stock market, Uncle Schuler?

Jasper smiled slightly as he spoke, "I want to be a dealer today."

"You dare! I love initiative and challenge."

Dawson. "What do you need? I'll help you prepare for what I can."

"Only a quiet office and a computer."

Without a word, Dawson immediately had his driver pick them up to the Schuler Group building after Jasper made his request.

Since this was the company building of the richest man in the province, it was a 66-story-tall building in the provincial capital and a place of wealth that many people longed for.

With Dawson there, Jasper headed straight to the chairman's office on the highest floor.

"Sit here, Jasper!"

Dawson told Jasper to sit in the main seat.

"I don't think this is right, Uncle Schuler.

Jasper didn't know if he should laugh or cry.

"If I say it's fine, then it's okay! Just sit!"

With how Dawson was getting more and more satisfied with Jasper, he no longer cared about such semantics.

At that time, the secretary came to the office with a tray of tea. After looking up, the secretary met with the sight of an unknown young man sitting on the chairmanship while the chairman spoke to him with a face full of smiles.

The secretary was confused at the sight.

While putting the tea on the table, the secretary then turned around and left the room completely frozen. It was surprising that the secretary made it through the door altogether.

Beside her, Wendy's cheeks flushed in embarrassment.

"Dad couldn't have thought of handing the company over to Jasper, right?"

"Yes God ... Is this my dowry?

As his face reddened like boiled shrimp, whenever imagined, Jasper had already clicked open the stock market software by the time Wendy jolted back to reality.

After deducting the 17,280,000 paid for the villa, Jasper's account totals the current total ...

3.083.960.000 dollars!

Despite knowing that his daughter would lie to him, Dawson inevitably felt devastated when he saw a long row of numbers that would easily destroy anyone's veins in Jasper's bank balance.
